One even told me after he stripped my oil pan drain plug it was because I had my oil changed way to often ( every 3000 miles )so my pan wore out so he wouldn't fix it. Funny he didn't mention that when he was changing it in all of my cars before. So I went back to changing my own oil from then on. I needed some work done that I could not do as oil changes is about as handy as I am. I went to Yelp to get some ideas. Asked for for estimates. Several got back to me and some made some stupid suggestions. Except for Kristy and Tim. I had them do the work and it was done very fast, very reasonable and happy with the results. Tim makes sure that you know what you need and what can wait. He doesn't try to talk you into any un needed work. He explains everything very well. Tim is a very nice guy. His wife gave me a ride home because my truck had to stay a day or two. She was very friendly and is also a mechanic. If you haven't tried Tims Repair then next time give them a try. I think you will be pleased. Tim will be getting all my cars from now on.

To top it off, the last time I was in, I heard one of the female employees offer to drive an older gentleman back to his house so he didn't have to sit there all day long. They will inform you of any issues they identify on your car but are not at all pushy about getting the work done there. I had taken it to O"Riley and tested myself prior so I new the problem but they insisted they had to do an inspection which I found out was a list of repairs per the manual which were recently completed, just don't trust what my costs would have been after they quoted me $600 to do the repair. I went elsewhere, who did an engine check while I waited and it was free.

However, a massive…read morecoolant leak that began after this shop serviced my coolant system has really left a sour taste in my mouth. The mechanic (Mike, I believe) let me know that my truck had several old leaks that weren't worth worrying about, he mentioned oil, and power steering fluid - not coolant. This coolant leak has required two gallons of coolant in the week since the service was performed. Mike inferred that this was one of the leaks he mentioned - it was not, I check my fluid levels regularly and my coolant level had not changed in the year leading up to this service - and proceeded to charge me an additional $70 for the coolant system pressure test which the WARRANTIED coolant system inspection the week prior apparently didn't catch. It's entirely possible that these mechanics know what they're doing under the hood - but they clearly don't know the first thing about customer service.

(And I doubt the owner even reads any of the reviews, to respond to anyone, or more importantly, fix these problems, and the things others have pointed out in their reviews. Says a lot.) Yuck.
