Just like all of the ABC Stores, it is very well kept up. They have special-buys via the manufacturer. It may include a tee shirt, or a small shot glass or other fun promotional items. They also have mini bottles for samples without the commitment of a huge bottle. Oh! They have terrific parking. The building is older and totally easy to miss since is not exactly on Tryon, but you can totally see it while driving North. Pretty typical inside, all the liquors are organized by type and there are special builds in the middle of the floors for any specials or offers for certain brands, etc.

At the risk of sounding redundant there is a welcomed professionalism to the way Government ABC Stores operate as opposed to liquor stores in another state or an off license store (which is what liquor stores are called) in Europe. They are not quite as large as some of the other ABC Stores in Charlotte, but they have everything you could want and the shelves are always stocked, neat and the prices are clearly marked. I've also found that the police officers here are helpful and know where things are when you can't find what you're looking for. While their job is to keep the peace, they aren't overly aggressive while being authoritative.
