Staff was nice, however there was no doctor was actually on site, so they sent us home for a telemedicine appointment. I had a question about when we would get the link for the appointment and it was impossible to get through to a human through their call center so I had to drive back over there to ask. They finally texted us and saw us--the provider was nice but it was right at 5 pm- they promised they would send the prescription to the pharmacy before they closed, which was important because my child had an ear infection and was in pain but they did not send the prescription and the pharmacist said they were notoriously bad about that and had a generally poor opinion of the facility. read more

Terrible customer service. Refuse to see me walking in because they had one patient waiting and wanted to close early.

They did not call in prescription after multiple follow up phone calls and going back in person. Over a week later, and back home in another state, CVS notified us they have been called in. Looks like this is a common issue, and an unacceptable one. They need to get their office in order better. read more

I had severe sinusitis and bronchitis. The doctor prescribed zpac and prednisone and I was well.

went to visit this doctor after an appointment I had made for a chest x-ray once I arrived. My blood pressure and weight were determined within five minutes of my scheduled appointment after that I a back room and sat for about 40 minutes eventually a physicians assistant walks does not introduce herself at all. The first thing she says to me is you need to stop smoking marijuana? I was so I asked her. Why would she say that to me she stated because other doctors don't want to say it because they are the patient feels and what they may think. I told her yes I was very offended by it. She said she did not care told her that my primary concern was to get well. I've been sick for over a month and a half taken prescription medicine wasn't working. I told her I needed x-ray which is why I was at the appointment. She stated that their machine was broke. read more

To start, Dr. Daigle was my primary care provider for a couple of years. I had an injury to my shoulder and went in to see him, asking for a referral to ortho. He told me they'd just cut me open and suggested physical therapy without knowing what the actual issue was. I spent hundreds of dollars and 8 weeks at PT with no improvement. When I went back to follow up, he told me maybe I just needed to "suck it up." He gave me the referral to ortho, though, where they identified it as a partial tear to my labrum. They gave me a steroid shot, which began relieving the pain immediately and followed up with additional medication. My shoulder is now at 100% without requiring surgery. Then, in November of '23, I went in for a prescription that I am regularly seen for every 3 months. There was an issue with filling it as prescribed, and the pharmacist told me I'd just need to have Dr. Daigle call it in again. When I went to their office as it came near time for another prescription in December, they told me I'd need to set another appointment, even though I was seen in November, but that they couldn't see me for 2 weeks, so I'd have to go without my medication. I even had the pharmacist on the phone who was extremely confused as to ehy they just couldn't call it in, since I had just been seen. They set me up with a virtual appointment for 8:00am on January 2nd. When I didn't receive a call on the 2nd, I went in, and they took my copay for the appointment and told me they do phone appointments at the end of the day, sometimes sooner if they can. I never received a call. They just called my prescription into the pharmacy. I changed Primary Care Physicians that day, had my copay returned by my bank, and filed an appeal with my insurance company that they charged for an appointment that never occurred. Needless to say, I don't recommend this location for your healthcare needs. read more

Sign says they are open and Tricare thinks they are open. Unfortunately, they are not. My son was seen here about a year ago. Staff was friendly, but didn't put his prescription in the system and then closed an hour early. My husband had to take him to ANOTHER clinic to get the same prescription. If you can't adhere to your own hours, just close your doors permanently. You are providing no service to the small community and just causing insurance headaches. read more

Do NOT count on this as an urgent care as they have general medical appointments daily. Those are taken first. I signed in and had almost an hour wait...which was explained to me by the receptionist upon arrival. What I was not told was the fact they did NOT take my insurance but was not told that until they called me to check in...What a waste of my time and theirs... One would think the insurance would be first thing to inquire about!! read more

This site took me without an appointment on a Saturday and I was grateful. I didn't have to wait too long in my car. They did the test they needed to do and overall it was a pleasant experience. They were very nice. I gave them only 3 stars because they never called me with the results like they assured me they would. When the Health Dept. contacted me, I immediately knew my results. I understand they are busy but it would have been nice to hear from them. I won't be going back to this location. read more

Highly recommend this office as well as the staff! Samantha was as nice as you get and very friendly! I was on vacation last week and became sick thanks to a co-worker. I called on monday to get in and was urged to come in Tuesday morning due to office over whelmed. She apologized and was as comforting as she could be. I came in first thing tuesday morning and she got me going in no time. Turns out they didnt take my crappy insurance..bcbs of md...but I am happy to say I paid the 125 office visit..(my co pay wouldve been 100 anyway). I was taken back and all the usual pre checks performed. Every one was professional yet friendly. The doctor is AMAZING!!! Very straight forward and friendly. I was impressed after 2 minutes. I was sick with god knows what my co worker infected me with and the Dr got me two shots in the back end, steroid and anti biotic to jump start my quick recovery and prescribed amoxicillin. I was feeling better by the end of the day and back to myself wednesday night. I want to quit my insurance and simply see them at this office for all my future ailments! The MedFirst Emerald Isle location does not care about patient satisfaction or ensuring a positive patient experience; they also lack the ability to properly contact them either via phone, emails, or the online portal (which don't actually reach the staff). I tried to visit earlier this summer for an important appointment prior to an international trip. I requested an appointment online and gave specific days/times that I was available. The team ignored my availability and scheduled me for a time that I was out of town, which they knew. Their website had error messages that didn't allow me to adjust my appointment time, so I attempted to contact the staff on-site at the clinic to have this adjusted. Their phone line is automated and doesn't actually connect to the clinic no matter which choices you select or if you request a representative. After two weeks of attempts via phone, email, and portal messages, I finally just cancelled the appointment altogether. The only way I was able to cancel was to call another location hundreds of miles away to have them relay the message to MedFirst Emerald Isle. read more
