I want to apologize in advance if I get any spellings slightly wrong--I was under a lot of stress and it's hard to remember everything perfectly--but the people I'm mentioning will absolutely know who they are. My nurses Lia, Meghan, and Kassandra took incredible care of me. They were kind, patient, and attentive, always checking on me and making sure I was comfortable and understood what was going on. I especially appreciated the way Lia and Meghan worked together so smoothly, keeping a great sense of humor and a positive attitude while handling a lot of pressure. Their rapport and teamwork made the environment feel safe and calm. I want to give a special mention to Meghan. She was a heck of a nurse and also served her country in the Navy. As an Army veteran myself, it meant a lot to be able to talk with her about military life and feel comfortable enough to open up. She was very easy to talk to, and her bedside manner was truly top‑notch. In the ER, Dr. V and Robbie took excellent care of me and helped guide me through those first, stressful hours, including my imaging and tests. Once I was admitted upstairs, the cardiologist and the surgeon (I believe Dr. Chesum) were both outstanding. They explained things clearly, answered my questions, and made me feel confident about the care and decisions being made. I also want to recognize my tech Domonica, Ray (the technician who helped get me settled when I was first admitted upstairs), and the techs on the morning shift whose names I didn't catch. They came in as a team and took great care of me even as I was getting ready to be discharged. On top of that, the food staff was amazing, and the hospital was super clean--so a big shout‑out to the custodial and maintenance crews as well. I was scared and overwhelmed when I arrived, but their teamwork, communication, and genuine concern for my well‑being made a huge difference. I am so grateful for the care I received, and I hope all of them are recognized for the outstanding job they do every day.

My daughter, who lives with a chronic disease (Sickle Cell) and is also deaf, was admitted for a severe pain crisis. Two days into her stay, after receiving pain medication from her nurse, Clara, she was subjected to what was described as an "unwarranted drug bust." While she was attempting to rest, four to five male security officers entered her room, forced her out of bed, and searched her personal belongings. They also confiscated and powered down her cell phone, which she relies on for interpretation services. I was informed by the charge nurse (Alyson), director (Bryan Steele), and security (Alex) that this is standard protocol if a nurse believes a patient has been in the bathroom too long or appears lethargic. Despite this aggressive encounter, no prohibited items were found, and my daughter was not re-evaluated afterward. This experience has been incredibly mortifying for my daughter and our family. This hospital claims to pride itself on excellence in patient care, yet these actions suggest a lack of respect for sick and vulnerable patients. We expect full accountability for this incident and a review of these protocols to ensure no other family has to endure such a traumatic experience. All Sickle Cell Patients aren't drug seekers. They should be treated like patients not suspects. #SickleCellPainIsreal

During a very frightening time, the doctors, nurses, and support staff went above and beyond to ensure he was not only treated medically but also felt seen and heard. Their professionalism, combined with a genuine sense of empathy, made a world of difference in his recovery. The team in the ER, specially RN Jackie, Maria and doctor Paul, are truly outstanding. Thank you for your tireless dedication and for treating my father with such dignity and kindness."

Dr. Donovan operated on my wrist here, at Trinity Medical Arts Building, in the early morning hours. This is an exceptional facility, with caring staff who know what they are doing. From paperwork, to gown, to survey (I was not awake when Dr. Donovan put a titanium plate and 9 pins in my right wrist), I was treated with compassion and professionalism. When I was awake and coherent, I felt much better. I was in and out in record time. Kudos who helped me prepare for surgery, who assisted Dr. Donovan during surgery, and helped me after surgery so I could return home in record time. I was also impressed when a nurse called me later in the day to inquire about my recovery. My diagnosis, this surgery, and my follow ups with Dr. Donovan were wonderful, and I highly recommend him and this facility!

My husband recently established care with this physician for a follow-up appointment, and…read moreunfortunately the experience left us uncomfortable and disappointed. When the doctor came to get my husband from the waiting room, he called his name and immediately turned and walked away without greeting us. There was no introduction or effort to create rapport. During the visit, he avoided eye contact when we asked questions and did not offer explanations when we raised reasonable concerns. His blood pressure was taken on his forearm, which we found unusual. When we mentioned that his reading had been significantly higher at another appointment earlier that same morning, the response was simply, "Oh," with no clarification or discussion. We also requested a referral for a mental health provider who could offer both counseling and medication management. The doctor stated he prefers to refer patients to a psychologist for therapy and then manage medication himself. When we asked about the possibility of seeing one provider for both services, he responded with comments about psychiatrists "overmedicating" patients, including an example of patients "drooling on themselves." The tone felt dismissive and defensive rather than informative. He emphasized that he has been practicing for 30 years and that this is how he does things. The overall visit lasted about 15 minutes. At checkout, the front desk interaction was similarly curt and unwelcoming. This was my husband's first experience establishing care with a primary care physician as an adult, and unfortunately it did not feel collaborative or patient-centered. We value clear communication and mutual respect in healthcare, and based on this experience, we have decided to seek care elsewhere.
