Even the AAP encourages not denying care to unvaccinated children, as that can lead to them receiving no care at all. Further their website claims "Our office is a safe place where you will be heard, and your values respected." This doesn't apply if your values and opinions differ from theirs.

I was really nervous for this change, but the new doctors and staff made me feel so secure about the transition and are always so helpful when I have questions. I've never left the office with more questions than answers. While I will miss Dr. Lapsker, (she was my husbands pediatrician when he was a child) I know that there is a whole team that truly cares for every single child. I also love how small the practice is, and I feel like my children get the attention they deserve. There are sick and well child waiting rooms, as well as specific times of day that certain ages get scheduled, ie: newborns only in the morning to keep the amount of exposure to their new immune systems low. The small steps they take to ensure the safety, care and happiness of each and every patient and parent is above and beyond. And any parent knows that is SO important when looking for a good doctor.
