Just wow. I actually walked out of exam room and left (that has never happened ). She was rude,…read moredismissive and apparently knows everything. I inherited her from Dr Eubanks when he retired and I kept going to PA Tara for a while when they were North Fulton Primary Care. My specialist said I had to have my Primary order blood work. So made an appt. for bloodwork specifically (they said I had to come in and see Dr.), fasted and went to see her. Front desk was great, nurse was rude about ordering blood work and Amy was worse when she arrived in room. I remembered why i have not been back to see her, she was same 10 years ago when I first met her. I think i will stick with Northside Hospital Network for a new Primary Dr..

The front office has been great, which is why I chose Two stars instead of ONE. I made appointment through my network's app. A few days later, I received a call stating the practitioner does not perform the service. I thought ok, my bad. I asked the front office does she do annual physical exams? She does. Ok, I scheduled an appointment. Only to be met with a follow-up call stating the practitioner only seeks physical exams in the morning. No reference on the app or site could I find the practitioner's policy of morning only physical exams. Hey I get it, this particular practitioner can run her practice as she sees fit. I inquired about the next availability and I was informed it would be six weeks out since I was a new patient to the practices. There are many others around who are available. I found a practitioner who had no hoops to jump through. If you are seeking to become a new patient one would be wise to call in advance with the services you seek. Make clear to the person who answers the phone that you are interested in becoming a new patient. She may be a great practitioner based on some of the reviews I read. However, the stipulations to become a patient were met only with frustration. Again, remember there are many others around who are available.

They keep losing my test results but don't forget to charge me. Calories restriction does NOT work…read morein the long term. And the keto diet that I follow does cause ketone levels to rise in both blood and urine. And it makes no sense to force a patient to retake tests just because you adhere to 20th-century dietary recommendations and have never seen high ketones (which, in the absence of glucose in the urine, do not pose any threat). Especially if my retaken results will be lost (AGAIN). In addition, part of the nurses is unprofessional and rude. One put on the pressure cuff with the hose up. The blood is taken from the hand on weight (and it really hurts because the hand cannot be relaxed). The chair doesn't even have an armrest. The wound is sealed with tape, which pulls out body hairs, and not tied with an elastic bandage. The staff gets annoyed with additional questions. This place was the closest to my home, but I will be forced to change it, because there is no desire to take tests a hundred times, which still lose or do not publish them on the portal. And yeah, I can't just go to their restroom and collect my pee to the container the same day as visit the doctor. They will make an appointment for me in 2-3 WEEKS!!! And they'll lose my results anyway. Ridiculous! P.S. Today, I received my testosterone blood test results (the 2nd attempt because of the 1st one these guys lost). You'll be laughing, but Quest Diagnostics says that "TEST NOT PERFORMED. SST (serum separator tube) is not an acceptable specimen for this test. Resubmit serum from a plain red-top tube". Well, Peachtree Primary Care, bye-bye! You are completely unprofessional, and I regret wasting my time.

She told my 10 year old (she was 9 at the time) that she was just a little bit "fat". She said that to her face and grabbed her belly. I've been battling my daughter's image issues ever since. I immediately corrected her and told her that she's putting on weight before she gets tall. Which is the same thing her father did at that age. Then, yesterday, despite my feelings I went to her again - because she's close. She asked me who my primary physician was and I said her. She proceeded to argue with me and tell me that she wasn't because she hasn't seen me in 2 years. I explained to her that because I have three kids, I do not go to the doctor for myself often. But I explained to her that I see her all the time with my kids. She told me I had to turn my laptop off and it wasn't even near me, it was on the desk. When my laptop rang, she told me if it rang again she wouldn't see me. But I didn't answer it! The thing that is so crazy is I was there for anxiety. She told me that because she hadn't seen me in two years that she wouldn't refer me to a psychiatrist without a workup. But that I would have to come back for my workup. And she said that she wasn't concerned unless I was suicidal and "I clearly wasn't suicidal because I am working a good job". She basically said because it wasn't a new issue, I could wait longer. I explained that her that this is part of the problem, I cannot come that easily or frequently due to the demands of my life. I said, why can't we do the workup now? She said because I need you to fast 6 hours. I asked why they didn't tell me that before I came...she said that's just how we do here. WHAT? I don't have to come to a rude doctor just to be sent home. Sounds like me like she just wants to get as much money out of my insurance as possible. She showed 0 empathy. She also told me that IF I wanted to find another doctor I could. And she did that within the first five minutes of us talking. I don't ever see black people in her office so maybe that's the issue. Needless to say, I'm finding another doctor. In numerous visits I've questioned her old school methods. And she doesn't always wash and sanitize her hands. This lady needs to retire.
