All around just mid tbh. Food is pricey, and pretty mediocre. Staff is rude or neutral. The person who took our order called the lady before us "old lady" when she talked to her coworker. I've now visited Meddys a dozen times give or take and not once had a bad experience. My food (big bowl with lamb rice/vegetables) is always delicious and the service has always been solid. They are on top of it. I feel like every time I've been a manager on duty has stopped by to check on things. I've even had it door-dashed and zero complaints there. The pita bread is so fresh and I highly recommend sharing hummus with your table. If you haven't tried, and love Mediterranean food this place will definitely impress. read more

What a great addition to the Mediterranean food scene in Oklahoma! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and it's quite busy even in the middle of the workday! The servers are so kind and check in on you frequently - they even went to ask specifically about the garlicky paste we were curious about! Grilled citrus salmon - perfectly cooked, lightly citrus-y, and with a large helping of grilled veggies. Great portion and taste! Garlicky chicken - a standout dish! Great portion size, with a wide array of sides. Also vegan friendly! The skin is a delicious roasted flavor, but the chicken inside was slightly bland - however there was a garlicky paste that came with this that helped offset that. Hummus stacked bowl (with chicken) - the hummus is so flavorful, and the portion size is again amazing! The chicken and veggies were perfectly balanced with the hummus in amount and flavor, plus the side pita was the perfect vehicle for each bite. Creme brûlée - perhaps my fault for expecting too much out of a "fast food" creme brûlée. Definitely tasted freezer burned/stale, not sure exactly what it was but not my favorite. This is such an interesting establishment. The décor and vibe of the place can almost be upcale dining with the beautiful interior and outside seating..but it's a order at the counter with fountain drinks restaurant. Pretty much fast food but they do serve the food to your table. I was very confused. Pricing is $10-$20 for a good meal. I got their garlicky chicken which was a pretty big portion and it came with freshly made bread. Also got their baba ghanoush. This was my first time having baba ghanoush so I don't really have a baseline but it was basically a smoky hummus dip to go along with the bread. It was ok, but not really my taste. Chicken was a little on the dry side and could use a little more spice. But service was excellent. Even their napkins are super thick and high quality. I think this is a value Mediterranean spot. What a great place. My wife had heard of Meddys and really wanted to try it. We decided to do a quick date night and we're thoroughly impressed. After we ordered and sat down, I love that they brought us warm, fresh pita bread. It tasted so good with the olive oil that was already on our table. I had the Meddys main plate with steak and for the side I had Greek salad. The steak was seasoned very well, and there was plenty of it. I also really enjoyed the vegetable medley that it came with. My wife had the Garlicky Chicken with gluten-free pita and hummus. She was amazed on how much chicken it came with. She also really enjoyed the white sangria from the bar. I've come to Meddy's about 6x now , and had no idea I didn't write a review yet. The first time I came here was last year for my birthday lunch, and the food was delicious. I ordered the garlicky chicken and the chicken was cooked perfect and not dry. Each time I've been back the chicken seems to be more and more cooked, and this last time I didn't really love my meal like I have other times. It wasn't bad, just really dry making it hard to chew. That's just me being honest and giving feedback in hopes they stop overcooking entrees -- at least the chicken anyways. My youngest son loves the chicken tenders and fries, and his meal always looks perfectly cooked. My husband also enjoys the garlicky chicken, but agrees that lately it's been overcooked. The service is A++++ and the workers are all friendly. Overall, a great casual place for lunch, and you can tell people love it, because it's always busy. I will DEFINITELY be coming here again! This was home run for sure! The food was amazing! And they even gave one of my friends a sample of the Spanish eggplant to try when she asked what it was. Our party of 5 sat at the bar and enjoyed great happy hour drinks (like a mojito with strawberry, which I highly recommend, the passion fruit margarita and the Triple M.) When it comes to the serving sizes, presentation and flavor, Meddy's does NOT disappoint! My husband and I shared the 1/2 serving of Tabbouleh, then he had the shawarma with garlicky potatoes, and I had the Hummus Stacked Bowl with lamb and no sauce and a side of pita chips and pita. Both meals were delicious and could have easily been two meals. In addition to the relatively cheap prices for the food amount received, I am so happy to find another restaurant that is forthcoming on ingredients on the menu to accommodate food allergies (mine being dairy) as well as have bold flavors. Meddy's design is super easy to follow, and is a lot like The Garage, where you order your food then find a seat (there were so many options, and it was so cool to be in an almost packed restaurant), or you can sit and order at the bar like we did. Today we had and "opportunity" to travel from Chandler to Baptist Hospital for a doctors appointment. That gave us the perfect opportunity to visit Meddy's for the second time. This time we both ordered the lamb Shawarma. It was excellent. My recommendation is to ask for an extra tzatziki sauce because it is so good. Fantastic atmosphere this new trendy Mediterranean restaurant. You walk in and get in line grab a menu and once you're at the counter, you order and pay for your food at the counter a server will bring your food to your table while you're waiting complementary hot pita is served and you're dipping oil and spices are already at your table. I ordered the garlic chicken which was spiced with garlic, roasted a light golden brown, very tender and tasty. It came with chopped roasted potatoes and my favorite garlic dipping sauce - Toum. I also ordered a small Mediterranean salad, which was delicious; fresh romaine lettuce, garbanzo beans, cucumbers, onions, feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, with a tasty vinaigrette. It's not a traditional restaurant, you stand in line to order ahead of time and then you find your own seat in a large indoor facility or outdoor open air seating. The tables are nice, the location is pretty and they have small, average and large tables to pick from. There are lots of families and it's a very kid friendly place. The food was outstanding and definitely a 5 star. This isn't going to be the place you go order a gyro, food is very authentic, rich in flavor, and cooked in an amazing buttery sauce. I'm not generally a mushroom soup person, but this is a must try. Rich flavors, not overly salty and large mushroom pieces. The Tabbouleh has a great lemon sauce, crispy leafy greens and goes great with all of the meats. We got the Garlicky Chicken which comes with roasted potatoes, pickle slices, chopped tomatoes and beats in a yummy pickling sauce. There is a side of creamy potato's that I definitely want again. The chicken was moist on the inside with a delicious crispy outside, served on the bone. Finally we had Salmon with tabbouleh on top, cooked tomatoes and roasted peppers. My friends and I have been on a Mediterranean food kick lately, and our most recent find was Meddys. I would say it's definitely the best of several places we have tried in the OKC area. The food, service, and decor are all great. I ordered the Heavenly Hummus Plate, and it was delicious. The hummus is smooth and creamy and was topped with some veggies and the protein of your choice. I chose the lamb, which was seasoned perfectly and very tender. It was served with plenty of pita bread. I took my leftovers home, and it was enough for another full meal. Delicious, boldly spiced food at reasonable prices for a fast casual restaurant. A few coworkers recommended Meddy's to me in the last two months, so we took our family there on a Saturday night for dinner. It was all around terrific! We arrived at a busy time (about 6 pm), but we were able to order after waiting about 5 minutes. If we had arrived about 30 minutes later, we would have waited in a line that stretched out the door. Ordering was straightforward. This is a place where you order when you arrive and then wait for them to bring your food based on the number assigned to your table. The first food that arrived at our table was two complimentary pitas with olive oil and a dry spice. The pitas were hot and had grill marks suggesting that they were made at the store or at least reheated on a grill in the kitchen. We enjoyed dipping the pita in olive oil. My wife and I also liked spicing up the oil with the provided dry spice mix. I ordered a platter with lamb and tabbouleh in addition to the lemon parsley salad and roasted vegetables that come with every platter. The thing that pleased me the most about the platter was that everything was heavily seasoned with contrasting flavors. The lamb melted in my mouth and had an earthy spice on it. The lemon parsley salad brought together the distinct brightness of lemon and parsley with their own slightly bitter flavors. I could have eaten a whole plate of just that salad alone (!). The roasted veggies included yellow squash that somehow came out cooked to that delicate transition point between raw and mushy. The tabbouleh could have been a repeat of the bright lemony flavors from the lemon parsley salad, but it brought its own distinct flavor to the mix. I also tried some of my wife's classic entree with salmon. It was also seasoned boldly and tastefully. Our kids' entrees were $1.99 each. I did a double take when I saw that price on the menu board. I scanned the menu board looking for any small print that said that the regular price was something else but couldn't find it. I double checked the receipt after we paid at the front, and it verified we paid only $1.99 for each of their meals. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that prices its kids' meals affordably. If it weren't so far from our house, we would return soon. However, when we're on the east side of Lake Hefner, we know just the place to try again. read more

The staff at the counter was super friendly, but unfortunately when we went to the bar to go get drinks, the bartender with the dark hair was rude and dismissive. I work at a restaurant and am a bartender, and I would never treat a customer like that. She gave major attitude when the bar area was pretty empty. My friend got the hummus platter and well it was ALOT of hummus! They gave fresh pita and pita chips. I highly recommend their lamb; I'm normally not a big fan of lamb because it can taste gamey if not prepared well, but Meddy's gets it right every time: tender and packed with flavor! Several friends have raved about Meddys, so I stopped by one Friday just after the lunch hour. The place was still packed and the line long. Fortunately, the line moved at a decent clip. Ordering was a breeze and I felt fortunate to find a table right away. I ordered the chicken shawarma and a side of hummus. While you wait for your order, they bring a warm pita, and there's olive oil and za'atar at the table. The pitas are pretty thick and substantial. Knowing what was coming, I should have waived it off, but didn't. The shawarma was good (3.5/5), but the chicken was a bit dry. They don't add garlic sauce, so you need to remember to get a container of it from near the bar. Do it before your food arrives. When I stood up get the sauce, and again when I returned a few moments later, I had to fight off the wait staff from clearing my table. I did love how they slivered the pickles so you got plenty in every bite. Meddys in the first place I've seen add lettuce and tomato, and I'd probably ask if they could leave it off in the future. The hummus was nothing short of amazing. After a trip to Israel some years ago, I hit several Mediterranean restaurants to see who had the best hummus. This would have easily been No 1. It's incredibly smooth and creamy. What I loved was that it's a tahini-forward hummus, but without a touch of the bitterness. I was so stuffed I could not eat another bite of pita, so I finished the hummus with my fork. I'm anxious to return and try some of the other items. We were not prepared for how busy this place was on a Friday night. Basically, you order at the counter, find a table and they bring the food to the table. The line was all the way to the door when we got there, but it moved quickly. We did not have any problems finding a table, even though it was crowded. Let's talk about the food: I ordered the citrus salmon plate. The salmon was perfect. I did not really care for the tomato onion relish, as it presented more as a side instead of a relish. The roasted vegetables were delicious, a mixture of squash, cauliflower, and other veggies. Meddy's has a full bar and their cocktails are very reasonable. My husband ordered an old-fashioned, which was made with his favorite whiskey. I ordered one of their specialty cocktails, a pineapple 'tini. Both drinks were excellent. We enjoy Meddy's! We've been more than a handful of times (sorry for the late review). We first stumbled upon Meddy's in Tulsa, right before they made their OKC debut in December 2024--and we've been going every few months ever since. It's a fast-casual Mediterranean spot with Lebanese roots, born in Wichita, KS from the heart and hard work of an immigrant founder. Think Panera meets the Mediterranean, but with way cooler Mediterranean vibes and some of the best hummus around. What I order (every time). I'm loyal to the Meddy's Main Plate with lamb--it's just that good. For sides, I'm torn between the baba ghanoush and the hummus. It's a last minute decision every time as I feel the pressure mounting from the line behind me. Both are great versions of themselves and offer a nice balance to the rest of the plate. Honestly, I keep telling myself I'll try something new on the menu... but then I don't. The lamb plate wins every time. The vibe is all kinds of cozy. Whether you're on a date or grabbing a quick bite with the fam, Meddy's nails that warm, welcoming atmosphere. They've got a full bar with beer, wine, and cocktails--nothing fancy, but enough to pair with your meal if you're in the mood. My mouth is watering just thinking about writing this review. We heard they opened up a Meddy's in OKC and it's been on our list to check out since. We went on a Sunday for lunch and it was a great time to go. We beat the lunch rush and their service was great during this time for us. The inside of the establishment is like a leafy green oasis, super cute vibes. We ordered the meddy's main plate with lamb & a side of mushrooms soup (per the rec at checkout) and their garlicky chicken entree. Everything was PACKED with flavor! Sometimes I feel like all the flavors in a Mediterranean dish at restaurants can feel overwhelming but for each of these entrees the flavors meshed perfectly. The lamb was flavored so well and the chicken was super tender! The skin was so crispy and delicious. Now, the mushroom soup... don't knock it till you try it! It was so warm, deep in flavor, and perfect for a cold day! I'd come back just for the soup to be honest! The bestttt part is their portion size is huge for the price!
