They've completely redone the menu there is no buffet. The food is pretty decent. We started with the Samosa. I would highly recommend as a starter. We love the biryani and the dall. We didn't like the chicken tikka masala so much. The naans were really good. My friend and I tried out this new establishment. It's kind of an obscure area and a little bit difficult to get to. I think if they had better signage and people understood what was there then that would be really helpful. They only had one other table besides ours during the time we were there and we were there during dinner hour. The server was very gracious to answer all of our questions as a lot of the foods we were not familiar with. I really enjoy the appetizer. It's fried veggies with a chickpea batter. At the moment, I'm avoiding gluten and some other intolerances I have so it is nice to have something that I could eat on the menu. I had the beef curry with zero spice. It does have a natural spice to it already so if you can't handle any spice you might not want to choose a curry. But it was very flavorful and rich. My favorite, which I did splurge a little bit on gluten was their homemade garlic butter, naan bread. It was absolutely amazing. My friend had the biryani with the Panera that is basically a dairy made large cheese curd kind of like cottage cheese. And then she added vegetables. They were very accommodating to make it the way she wanted and she really enjoyed it. The service was great. We plan to go back. read more

We were passing through on a road trip and selected Foodie's based on reviews. We arrived at lunch hour and had no trouble getting seated. Prices on the lunch menu are very reasonable, and the helpings are large. My partner and I truly could have split an entree. His chicken fried rice dish was mild, but flavorful. Wow. Easiest five star review I have written in a minute. I've driven past this place a few times and decided to give them a try for takeout. It is absolutely stellar. For appetizers we did the mixed vegetable pakora and the paneer pakora. Both were delicious. The very polite woman on the phone asked if we would also like to try the dosa as it was their specialty so we added the masala dosa on her recommendation. It was a great decision. For entrees we did the chicken biryani and the navratna korma. The korma was one of the best things I have ever eaten in my entire life. Flavorful, spicy and delicious. The restaurant is super nice and clean in the interior with bright welcoming colors and a very friendly waitstaff. I cannot recommend this place enough. Excellent new Indian Restaurant! Food was very tasty , the staff was super friendly and portions very generous. The veggie samosa was amazing! We got the chicken biriyani which was really good. I got the beef curry which had great flavor and came with white rice. You can customize the spicy level and I got medium. We also got naan bread which was really good. The inside was neat and clean and all seemed very new as they recently opened in summer 2025. The restaurant is very large and has lots of parking and is right off May Ave and the highway 240. They seem to be open late which is cool and you can order online for takeaway or delivery. read more

I have never left a review for a poor eating experience. I ordered $126 off their menu for pick-up. When I got home and the orders out of the bag, I was missing rice and 4 orders of garlic naan. Indian food is not complete without these 2 items. Needless to say, our meal was ruined. We asked for the food to have zero spice because several of us, including 2 toddlers, cannot eat hot spicy food. The lady advised they could not make 2 of our dishes non-spicy, and that was okay with us. We asked for a side of hot chili so the few adults who like spicy food. We served our toddlersand as soon as they took a bite, they busted out crying and it took at least 10 mins to calm them. Of course I was very upset that our babies had to suffer. Virtually all were spicy. After 2 bites of palak paneeer, I couldn't eat more. Perhaps we had bread and more rice, it could have been different. I contacted the restaurant, and after making things clear, they promised to replace the whole order. I reached out the next day to reorder and asked if we could replace our items with 100% non-spicy food. The lady said "yes". After about an hour +, we finally finished. I tried to clarify that would be free, and she said she had to talk to the manager. She then said they could give us 20% off that order, and I reminded her that was not what we agreed on. The owner then got on the phone and said we received the bread because he personally cooked it. The day prior, the lady said they probably made a mistake because there were a lot of to go orders. He then questioned me, saying why would we have ordered chili on the side if we wanted spicy. Basically, he was calling me a liarand was quite rude. Two hours later, he said he would not replace the food. Instead, he give us a refund. He said I didn't know about Indian food because there is no non-spicy indian food, while we lived in the middle eastern for 10 years and ate authentic food all the time. Lol He processed the refund while I waited. Once done, he told me never to order or dine in with them in the future. So sad, for the "small" cost of 4 pieces of bread and a few cups of steamed rice, they lost our business forever. Such ashamed. This type of customer service will not favor them in the future. Needless to say, we went to another indian restaurant and placed an even bigger order! Nothing was spicy while we also got a cup of spicy chili on the side. At a time where restaurant staff hardly know what service is and treat you with contempt for asking for a refill of your water, the staff here were the complete opposite.
