We are from the Bay Area and were in Ripon visiting family. Our boys needed fresh cuts. We found Medeiros Barber. Upon arrival they were all set-up outside and practicing social distancing under the new and ever changing Covid regulations. There were 5 ahead of us. We waited maybe 45mins under umbrellas and on chairs provided by the shop. We were offered waters and even fans to keep us cool. This father/son duo couldn't have been more pleasurable they were both super patient with our boys and our guys walked out looking like studs with clean cuts. Thank you gentlemen. read more

Haven't seen Gary or Troy in years. Since Gary had his barber shop in my old town of San Leandro. I used to get my haircut at Gary's when I was in high school in the 80's. It was really cool to reminisce with them about the old days. They couldn't quite place who I was at first then Gary said " You always had a basketball when you came in, right?" Yep. This place sucks don't even try going in I wasted my time entering. I went in with a friend we were both looking to get the traditional undercut fade and we walked in and they kicked her out because she wasn't a male?? Everything a barber shop should be. The two guys (Gary & Troy) were welcoming and fun to talk to. The cut I got was exactly what I wanted (much better than any I've gotten at places like supercuts). I went at an off-time on a weekday, so I only had to wait around 20m, which was great. Another guy who was hanging around the shop said that many times it can be around an hour wait. It's a fun place to hang out though, and even if it had been an hour wait, I think it would go by quickly, and the cut would be worth it. Seriously, if you've only ever gone to places like scores, supercuts, great clips, etc... you really owe it to yourself to check this place out. I like this place. It's exactly what a barber shop should be. You've got two dudes who have decades of experience surrounded by sports and barber memorabilia. And they'll talk your ear off whether you want them to or not, which is a barber shop prerequisite if you ask me. And they're good. I've only been there twice, but both times I got exactly what I asked for. They're also fairly cheap. Not the cheapest I've been to, but they charge the same price as Supercuts. So if you're hesitant to try something new, be comforted with this place. Just be sure to bring cash. read more

I had originally taken my 2 yr old son to another hair place in town where they completely ruined his hair..after searching online I found this barber shop and went to them to try to do damage control. I'm so glad I did..Gary was amazing! They were sooo friendly! Even though my son was crying and freaking out Gary was so sweet and patient with him. They also gave me a lock of his hair and a certificate since it was his first time at a barbers shop. They wouldn't even let me pay! They were just glad I brought him in and that they were able to fix his hair! My son's hair looks really good..Gary did an amazing job! Great haircuts from Gary and Troy! They are very friendly and consistent. Always get compliments after a fresh cut from these guys! Just wish they took appointments, sometimes have to wait 30+ mins but to me its worth it because they are great barbers and have a lot of experience. Have recommended to others. read more

I live in Tracy, CA which is about 30 minutes driving time from my home to their shop; the drive is worth it because the haircuts by Gary and Troy are that good. I am not that picky about my hair, don't have much. I haven't found a barber in Tracy, that is what I would call a real good "finish" barber; they always leave things a little undone; not Gary nor Troy. I have been going to their shop for 4 years now and I intend to keep going to them. If you want a really good haircut, fair price and to be treated as a valued customer...
