Reception staff was inattentive (arrival) to surly (checkout.) I was bleeding profusely so brought my husband along to drive and carry the extra paper towels to sop up the blood, etc. When my name was called, he accompanied me to the back area at the fastest pace he can manage since his stroke, and the nurse (or whatever) barked "Sir, if you're coming, come!" The "Provider" (their words, not mine - never did learn what his credentials were and his name tag just showed his first name) was kind and competent, but the path to help was disheartening. This company needs to hire more compassionate people and then give them some training on how to be kind. read more

No one likes going in for a medical emergency. It's expensive. And annoying. But sometimes, it can't be avoided. I found this location a few years ago when I was suffering from a migraine that would not go away. They were able to see me right away and put an end to my suffering. And the staff really seems to care. Another big plus is my medical insurance co pay is a lot cheaper than going to E. R. And they can get to you in and out a lot quicker. E.R. seems to stick you in a back room and they make you beg to leave!! At Med Express, the staff is nearby and can quickly respond. Another thing I like about this office, is the front desk staff. I showed up here on a recent evening with blood gushing from my hand after losing a fight with an avocado. And without proper I.D. They were willing to allow me to be stitched up while my boyfriend left to retrieve my I.D. and insurance card. That was very nice of them. Plus, the waiting room is fairly attractive and comfortable. And they changed to TV channel to baseball, so BJ would not be bored! It's also good to note that the first doctor that I saw five years ago it still here and she is the one that took care of my finger. So, the staff doesn't jump around from office, they tend to be constant. And I like that. read more

I have been to this location for TB tests for work and with no one else in the waiting room I waited over an hour two years in a row. For the test to be read, about 45 min to an hour. My 3 year old gets a head injury and receptionist was extremely rude and we waited over an hour and a half to be let inside. Then another 45 minutes from when the nurse came in to see the doctor. Service here is not very good, and I highly recommend you go to a different medexpress or urgent care even if it's a further drive. The one located in Butler has been much faster and friendlier. read more

I called to say we are coming in with our two sick kids, the woman who answered the phone did not talk to me but more like barked! We went elsewhere because I can only imagine how you get treated at this place after that phone call! They should start by kicking her right out of there in my opinion that would be a great start! read more

Came to get a Covid test. They said it was a 3 hour long wait. I leave to go get coffee and use the restroom after 2 hours and they call me. When I tell them I'll be back in 5 minutes the woman scoffs and says you'll be at the bottom of the list. Hangs up, I call when I come back and they say oh you left right? How is this place so inefficient. I understand staffing is a problem everywhere but this is unacceptable for a 5 minute nose swab. read more

Got a tb shot for work. Came back the next day as I had to work the day prior. shot was due at 1:40 arrived at 1:20. made me sit in the car until time expired. Get called in and was told the shot expired explained they made me sit in the car. Told me they would still have to go through my insurance not company's. Left without saying a word. I waited for 90 minutes outside to get a covid test. I went across the street to get lunch and while I was at the gas station they called me to come in. They asked If I was in the parking lot and I said I would be there in a minute. They continued to move me to the bottom of the waiting list and I waited 2 more hours before giving up. I went in and asked if someone had diabetes and they needed food and they left and came back would they still get sent to the bottom of the list? Of course they said yes read more

Took my child to be seen last Thursday and the dr barely examined her. Just a quick look at her throat and he stated she had a virus and for it to run its course. Then got a phone call the following week on a Monday to say she has strep throat. I called back stating she would need a dr excuse and that someone would call me back. Never got no return call so I call back and left all my information again just for a dr excuse for my child's school. Once again no return call. The place do not care at all about your well being. The front desk receptionist's, Maura, attitude was less than desirable, to be honest she was just down right rude. I'm in health care and work in a office where we make sure front desk are trained to deal with the public in a professional matter and that they better give a damn because they can make make or break patients returning. Beware if you actually need a valid diagnosis. I went in with all the symptoms of a kidney stone. I had to pay $50 up front to be seen. One of the Physician Assitants came in to poke at my back and ask, "does this hurt?" After my "physical," being asked to fill a cup, and some more waiting... definitely no kidney stone! What a relief. One month later I was hospitalized, underwent invasive surgery, and missed out on 2 weeks of work for the kidney stone that "didn't exist." I want my $50 back. read more

Terrible. For COVID text. I've been here 42 minutes and called phone number 106 times. Just a busy signal so I went in after someone else walked in and told me they had to go in to get in line. Lady at desk told me I had to go back to my car and keep calling. Great customer service. They could not give damn. read more

I went here to (attempt to) get a physical done for work. When I initially called to ask if they did physicals, the woman on the phone was kind of nasty. I went, waited in the waiting room for over an hour only to be brought to the back room to be told they will not even LOOK at me for a physical unless I have my TB test done and read. I replied I was TB tested 1 year and 2 months ago, to which they replied that no, it needs to be within one year. I WISH I was told at any point that I needed a TB test completed before I waited for an hour and a half, because this policy is something I have never heard of. I have had many physicals in my life and I have never been turned away because of a Tuberculosis test. read more

I came in for a routine employment drug test and had to wait over an hour in the lobby to even get started...I've never had to wait this long to take a drug test. Staff didn't seem to be phased by this enormous wait time. read more

Unlike previous reviews, I disagree. I went in for a routine physical for work. I waited at the door with no one in front of me until the office staff were done with their conversations about trucks. Initially the woman who took my immediate information really rubbed me the wrong way. Not warm, not comforting, not inviting, just blank. I waited more while the staff talked to each other for 20 more minutes before I went to the second window. The front office staff were very unattentive, unmotivated, and only talkitive to one another. I did however like the doctors in the back. They were kind, patient, friendly, and time sensitive. They are the only reason why I gave more than one star. read more

This is one of the best Urgent Care facilities I've ever experienced. Staff / PA was very knowledgeable and comforting to us. The facility is VERY clean. I was in and out in about an hour and was satisfied with diagnosis. They even filled my prescription there, so I did not have to make another stop at an off site pharmacy. I would definitely go back and also recommend this place to family / friends. read more

It appears as though the staff has been taken over by zombies. They were so robotic and seemingly uncaring, I would have left while in doc's office if I hadn't had to go because of a work accident. I went in for a cold/potential sinus infection. They gave me a couple of prescriptions and I was on my way. When I gave them my credit card they said the maximum charge was $150. I thought probably if there were meds or some other tests that needed to be done but I didn't get any thru them. I never imagined that my 10 minute visit would cost $150 so I never thought about it again. I went there because I thought it would be cheaper than my PCP. Well I just got a $200 bill in my email box for my 10 minute visit. They said that since the maximum they could charge to my credit card was $150, they would bill me for the rest!!!!!! So BEWARE! Why does it have to be so expensive? I'm a self-pay because I'm self employed without insurance. I didn't (coudn't) go because when I called I was told it cost $109.00 before you even see a doctor. And then it if you have anything done it cost more, up to $199.00. I'm very dissapointed. I was really hoping to get well. But if it cost me every penny I own, it might not be worth it. read more

The office staff is terrific. The "doctors" not so much. Be prepared to know what you need before you walk in the door because the 3 minutes the "doctor" spends with you is not going to help you out a whole lot unless you already know what you need. I was there today and timed it. 3 minutes for $150 bucks with a doctor who didn't seem to understand that claritin D or anything with a "D" keeps you up all night. If you need a doctor, go see a real doctor is my advice. They have D.O.'s at this location that don't know much at all. Twice now, we have received a wrong diagnosis at this location, which caused us bigger issues later. And, the fees they charge are ridiculous. If you got to see a real doctor at this location .... a doctor who knew what they were talking about, it would be worth the fees, given they are open when doctor offices are not. This is a very disappointing review to write because I have successfully used them in the past with no complaints. However, after yesterday's experience, I will never go there again due to rude and unprofessional nurse that told me that they do not give immunizations to minors after my husband took my daughter for her school physical and was told earlier in the day that they would review her immunization record as part of the physical and update any needed ones if they had the vaccine in stock. When I asked the nurse to speak to Dr and Office Manager - she told me neither were available and Hung up on me!! Very rude and unprofessional. Never again. read more

This Med Express facility is best in class. I went there a half hour before closing for flu like symptoms that had not subsided in 4 days. The whole staff was outstanding, especially PA Halee who ordered Xrays which determined I had pneumonia. Despite it being closing time, the whole staff stayed to give me an IV to rehydrated me and lower my fever. I was also able to get my prescriptions filled right on the spot. Had I waited another day and gone to my own doctor I would have had to go to separate locations for the xray and prescriptions and most likely would have been admitted to the hospital. I have never experienced anything like the kind care and attitude Halee showed towards me and I know she had her own family to get home to. I would definitely recommend this facility to friends and family. read more
