Overall, I guess I can't complain for paying $37 for the ultimate. But it is disappointing to see that the people cleaning the truck couldn't even flip the back seats down and clean them, I purposely flipped them up to make it easier to vacuum underneath and pull the rubber mats out to clean. Normally I would let it slide being "you pay for what you get" and I don't expect perfection for $37. But my front grill wasn't even touched, bugs and residue was left all over the front of it. And my two back doors weren't wiped down. It wasn't busy, there was one car ahead of me, and 4 people working on my truck. The guys at MAW are the best! I was caring for a sick friend in Whiting and didn't know the area so I took my dirty car to a car wash on route 70. I must have reminded the guy in charge of his ex wife or something because he was extremely nasty and said I didn't have an appointment there. He said I must have called someplace else. When I offered to show him my phone so he could see that I had in fact called their business he refused to look at it. So I opened my phone and hit their number and their phone rang. I purchased the ULTIMATE wash for $42. The car was not very dirty to begin with but after the wash there were still bugs stuck on the side of the car and there was dirt in the seams of the roof. They also neglected to vacuum the trunk and clean out the seal area that you see when you open the trunk. I complained and the manager told me I had to pay extra to get the roof cleaned. So much for the Ultimate. Find another car wash is my recommendation. By the way, there were no customers in the queue either before me or after and three workers were standing by with no work to do which I assume were on the payroll and I was supposed to pay more for the roof. read more

I should start out by saying I usually wash my own car. I think this is the best way being that you can be in control of how it's handled and cared for. That said, I was feeling a little under the weather and decided to just take it for a quick run through. I told the guy specifically not to clean the windows. I told him they're tinted and you can't use windex/ammonia on tint. He said ok and he'd put a note. As my car came out of the wash I saw a guy jump in and watched as he sprayed the entire interior with windex! It was my ONE request. I ran over frantically and said is that windex and he said yes, then I said I told you not to clean the windows! He looked at the dash and then blames the other guy for putting the do not clean windows note on the dash! NO apology, just bitching about he shouldn't have done that and runs off to next car. What kind of business just shifts the blame on somebody else and doesn't take responsibility? Are they going to pay for my tint if it comes off and it needs to be replaced? Id say not. They also barely dried the car. (Which considering the service is probably best who knows how scratched it would be) Do yourself a favor, NEVER bring your car to this place. I have multiple vehicles and have been a local resident and patron of Medford Auto Wash since 2002. I have never had a bad experience in all those years and literally hundreds of washes. The facility itself is always spotless and neat. My vehicles come out clean and scratch free which tells me they keep up on the maintenance inside the wash tunnel as well. The staff has always been great, and they have very little turnover. It's nice seeing the same faces each time you go. The guys do a great job and come across as appreciating my business. It's very busy on Tuesdays which is Senior Citizens day. Mornings generally seem the slowest part of the day, but even with a line they always have adequate staffing and things move right along. read more

Just experienced an employee working at the end of the car wash shoot get into my car and spin out the tires driving out of the wash at an accelerated speed all the while laying on the horn up to the towel drying area. Employee didn't seem to care at all after addressing him. Stated that he has to hurry because other cars are coming. Note that the wash not busy at all. I spoke with the manager as well. When I'm in a rush, it's definitely not the place to go, but that's because they take their time. I always get the Deluxe, which is the highest clean before the full detail. Honestly, it's pretty impeccable the job they do for the cost. Obviously you have to wait, especially when they are busy, but it's a full clean. read more

Went to Medford Autowash for the first time today since some of the Covid 19 restrictions had eased up in NJ. The associates who were doing the work to clean and wash the vehicles were very friendly and courteous as they had been in the past. I went to pay for the service and showed a coupon for the carwash on my phone and was told that it could not be honored since I had not taken the time to PRINT the coupon on to a piece of paper. I receive text messages from the same establishment with different perks randomly for 50% off a wash or a free wash for your Birthday and have shown them the text on the phone and that was OK, trying to be environmentally conscious I felt I could do the same with a website coupon, makes sense right? No, sorry no discount unless you print the coupon, and yes the page before says to print to redeem but what world are we living in at this point? They can't make an exception to this and possibly realize that they would actually be helping the environment but not requiring people to physically print coupons? The guys who do the "Real Work" there are great, maybe management can learn a few things from them. read more
