I went through him to get my medical card and yes, you do have to pay before your appointment and it's $205. I don't know where people are getting these crazy numbers of it costing way more than that, but it doesn't. Everything is done remotely. Everything was super smooth and there weren't any issues at all. I got my medical card the following day, even though it can take up to 30 days. Everything was super short, simple, and to the point. I never had an issue with Rachel, she has always been pleasant to deal with. I actually got my fiancé set up with an appointment, and he had the same great experience as I did. We even called him back and had a chemical eval done for court and they were just as thorough and pleasant as the first time. I've recommended them to several people. This place is a chiropractic clinic as well a massage clinic. I filled out a contact form yesterday and scheduled an hour long deep-tissue massage to help with a flare-up of back pain. When I arrived the office was almost completely dark apart from a few dim lights in the hallway. No one at the front desk, my massage therapist came and greeted me and instructed me to fill out a pre-massage form where I was able to designate problem areas and my preference on level of pressure. Once we got in the room she looked over the form and reviewed what I had written. Although we had agreed ahead of time on a 60 minute deep-tissue massage for $120, she felt a few areas on my lower back for less than 10 seconds and said I would benefit more from a 15 minute sound wave therapy session all at the ridiculous cost of $120, which would also require follow up sessions which would not include the "1st session discount and would cost $160." I declined and stuck with the massage. (As someone who works in a customer facing career and has had a lot of sales and professional relationship building experience, I was shocked at how bad the massage therapist was at these things. She wasn't very personable, and was very assertive and borderline aggressive that I needed to spend all this money on soundwave therapy. When I declined her whole demeanor changed to that of being irritated and disappointed that she had to give a massage instead.) The actual massage itself was bad too. I've had multiple deep-tissue massages in the past, this was a total joke. I had designated medium and hard pressure were the preference, she barely used any pressure for 90% of the massage. There were other issues as well, I designated that I was there due to lower back pain and wanted that to be the main focus. My lower back got the least amount of attention of any part of my body (I thought she would end the massage with a bigger focus on the lower back but was appalled when she said the time was up and there had been 5 minutes at most spent on my lower back.) Also there other weird issues like her massaging only my left foot and not my right, as well as massaging my abdomen but not my pectoral area. I seldom leave bad reviews for businesses and have a little more mercy than I am at this moment even in the event of a mediocre experience. Today things are different, I had such a poor experience here and feel robbed of my money. Hopefully Casper's Chiropractic goes out of business soon so the office space can be cleared for a business that is more productive for society and doesn't rob its customers.

What I especially appreciate about Twin Cities IV is their ability to accommodate to their clients. I was connected with Nurse Stephanie, and she was able to schedule my mom's IV treatment for the same day as sign up AND they travel to their clients homes, so she was able to come to my mom's home and administer the IV treatment - which was fantastic. Several other companies I checked in with were booked out about a week and prices were much higher. I liked the fact that my mom could get treatment in her home on her schedule with the same nurse each time. Nurse Stephanie provided my mom with her contact information and was great at communicating. Impressive! My nurse, Tressa, was incredible. She let me know she was going to be a little late because of another appointment, and proactively offered a free Add In as compensation. When she arrived, she was fast and so sweet and helpful. She explained what was in the bag, and added another anti-nausea med. She was also great about explaining how long things might take to kick in. Pricing was great, especially when compared to other options or an ER wait. I was exploring a hormonal imbalance and she helped me get on a bioidentical progesterone which was exceedingly helpful. I wasn't however expecting to be blindsided by the visit to follow. Having gotten out of a recent break-up I saw Dr. Parker to explore getting pregnant on my own--possibly more hormone treatments, thyroid tests, anything that would help my fertility as a late 30-something woman. The first words out of her mouth were 'Well... I have two children and I could not have done it without the love and support of my partner.' She proceeded to ask me the following questions: -- Was I financially secure enough to raise a kid? (39 with a very successful business) -- Why not consider adoption? (Always a consideration of mine but expensive and I want to try natural conception while I'm still young) -- Why not consider dating someone with a kid? (Already a stepmom from my previous relationship) She asked me how I planned on getting pregnant and how I planned to give birth. I told her I pondered home birth and she proceeded to tell me a home birth nightmare story. All in all it was an incredibly shaming and negative experience. Absolutely nothing positive or empowering was uttered from her mouth and being a woman doctor--who supposedly embraces an alternative lifestyle--I expected a lot more out of her. I was definitely emotional in our visit but I don't think that was justification for her to be so judgmental. I sought out a holistic doctor to have a more positive experience not to be treated like I'm incapable and out of touch with my own aspirations as a human. It's taken me some time to have the courage to write this review but I think it's important. I wouldn't want someone else to have the same experience. I won't be going back to her, nor would I recommend her as a doctor.
