UNETHICAL BILLING, FAILURE TO PROVIDE PATIENT WITH PROCEDURE INFORMATION. I was advised of one price and agreed on it. I noticed that my credit card statement was charged double of what she quoted me! This was only my 2nd time using Caroline and I'm not too experienced with Aesthetician procedures so I trusted in her to at least acknowledge if what she quoted me during the procedure she had planned on going over that quoted amount. I'm laying down flat in a chair. I'm not aware of how many syringes she was using and in fact, she told me that she didn't even have to use the entire amount, it was less so I was figuring, half the quoted price in my head. I didn't get a receipt. I signed documents on an iPad regarding potential risks involved and how I'd be responsible for payment for all services rendered but that didn't give her the right to totally blind side me with quoting me one price and charging me double! At least explain to me what you're doing during the procedure and communicate that she was using more than 3-4 syringes! After the procedure, she ran my card, didn't say a word to me about the amount rendered, I just assumed she was charging me the original amount. I contacted her immediately and she refused to work with me so I contacted my credit card company in which they will dispute this with her further. Furthermore, what she did wasn't what I was expecting or what I asked for. I'm very disappointed with the results. She changed my appearance in which I advised that I wasn't interested in changing my "look" and now I don't look like myself and have to wait this out until the RADIESSE Filler injections wear off in hopefully 4 months or less. In knowing that your client is "new" to these procedures, I would think that you would be a lot more communicative, attentive and explanatory. They're the professionals! I feel totally taken advantage of and not to mention how horrendous my face looks now. In the 9 days since I've had this procedure done, I've noticed that my speech is slurred, it's difficult to talk and I don't like feeling like I have a baseball in my chin! I just want it out or removed. It's just not comfortable, not to mention how uncomfortable it is, pain wise too. I bruised very badly as well. The area is still very tender to the touch. I did my research on Aesthetics as much as I could understand, I made a virtual appointment to discuss the areas in mind and I do have to say that my first appointment with Caroline, she totally rubbed me the wrong way and I should of just got up and walked out the door. This girl came highly recommended as well and know a few other clients that go to her. Appointments are made on line, because I booked my appointment incorrectly, she came down on me pretty hard when I was sitting in her chair that day and made me feel very uncomfortable that I should of got up and left but I didn't. If you are any kind of an organized and professional person that runs your own company, I would think that you would check and confirm those "on line" appointments by reaching out to first time clients making sure they are booked correctly or at all to avoid situations such as this. Like I said, not the most communicative person, lack of --- and that is quite important between client/professional. I tried working it out with her, gave her the benefit of the doubt to make this right and not risk losing me as a new client, but she stopped communicating with me, SHOCKER! She avoided my questions and concerns. She sent me more documentation dismissing me from her practice in which I told her that I refused to sign anything further from her and that I wouldn't be coming for my F/U appointment. I tried one more time the following day and she has not responded. SHE QUOTED ME $700 for 2-3 syringes! I didn't authorize a $1,488 charge! Poor businessman ship. If you know you're going over that amount, say something! How the heck do I know how many syringes you're using when I'm laying down flat in a chair --- I had my eyes closed because I also was in discomfort and pain.
