I went to Dr. Overman for Botox of my elevens. While I was there, she asked me if I clench my jaw…read moreor grind my teeth. She could tell by my appearance that this was an issue. I have a night guard, but never use it because it makes me clench more and I wake up with an aching jaw muscle. I have had broken teeth and broken crowns because I clench and grind while I'm sleeping. I was waking up with a headache almost every morning. Within a week of having Botox in my jaw muscles, my morning headaches were gone. I wish I had learned about this years ago because it would have saved me a bundle on dental work.
