We were immediately pleased with the professionalism of everyone we encountered, from the phones, desk associates, and of course the top-notched medical team. Saw Dr Suzuki, she is the worst Dr I have ever seen in my life! She started reprimanding us the second she walked in the door! Her bed side manner sucks! We went there because my daughter's face was swollen, her teeth didn't hurt the face was swollen!!! so the Dr auto assumed it was tooth, and wouldn't let us talk to explain because we had been there the previous month for a tooth issue! She fussed the whole time told us it wasn't their responsibility to find us a dentist, and said she would put her on an antibiotic this one time! I explained we have no dental insurance so she said then go to a place that takes cash. As if I'm flipping rich!! I understand the teeth need to be fixed but understanding that and being able to do anything about it are two different situations! We're poor we just needed help fixing the issue we didn't need to be yelled at and made to feel like garbage My daughter and I both have anxiety and depression, I hadn't been to a Dr in many years because of these issues. I finally started going to medical care Elizabethton in May 2025, and before today July 22 2025 everyone i had seen and talked to had been nice, caring, and understanding. Now this Dr Suzuki has ruined all progress I have made, i never want to go back now There is just no reason to ever be that rude, and act like we are an inconvenience. read more

There are 150 people in the building...not a one will answer the phone, yet every appointment I have had they are all staring at their phones and it is atleast a 2 hour deal to get medication called in to be refilled...any appointment really. All the doctors are overwhelmed with paperwork even though the nurses and cnas are always running around playing grabass and gossiping. Just so inefficient in general. I don't know how they make money. read more

My experience at medical care was beyond anything I would have ever thought to have experienced. Never have I ever received this low level of care. I went to medical care to obtain a refill on my prescriptions and did not even get close to it. I was very rudely spoken to by a nurse practitioner, whom I was being seen by, my needs were not taken into consideration in the slightest, and she would not even listen to anything I tried to tell her. She was very unprofessional towards me and her other colleagues as she ignored myself and others. I felt very uncomfortable and do not trust her with my health or my healthcare needs. I absolutely do not recommend going to medical care to be seen. read more

My kids have seen Dr. Davis since we moved here about 2 years ago. She is always RIGHT on the money with what's going on and her treatment plans. We love her as our doctor and I recommend her to ALL my friends with children. She's phenomenal!!! read more

The nurses are excellent. Because of the "care" of their physicians, I worked on a broken metatarsal for 3 weeks. This was after I spent an entire day looking for a non-locking foot splint. It turns out they don't exist. I didn't have a handicap tag, so I spent all day using crutches- looking for a medical device that doesn't exist. read more

We saw this provider 3 times Dr. Davis to be exact and she is very unprofessional as is their staff. Scheduling 3 appts all to be told when I arrived we didn't have an appt. Also stating that they only see adhd patients on certain days but was scheduled by staff anyways. Then when speaking with doctor they treated my son as if he was an addict, never calling back with results etc. Also spoke with Steve Hopland and his response about the post it on my sons account with his recommendation on it were about the insurance provider not him. Long story short I have NEVER had any issues with any care at any doctors what so ever but here they immediately treat you like you are just there to get high....a prescription my son has taken since he was 5...DO NOT RECOMMEND DR.DAVIS UNPROFESSIONALISM OR STEVE HOPLAND FOR NOT RESOLVING THE ISSUE OR EVEN CARING TO LOOK INTO THE ISSUE. The appts people are amazing and are outraged by what has went on but the ceo seems not to care at all just wants your insurance money! They also make sure to let you know how long they have been talking to you as if your only supposed to get a limited amount of time for your health or concerns. read more

I have two herniated disks in my neck, but due to the war on pain medications its about imposible to get any medication that could actually help me live a somewhat normal life. I'm supposed to have my disks removed through my throat (keep in mind this office first told me I pulled a muscle so I had to spend months thinking it was okay) the pain never went away and I was able to receive a MRI on my neck and confirm recess stenosis and two bulging disks. I want to get surgery but the rest of my back is messed up from working at American Water Heater. The good Drs at Holland's though treat everyone like pill heads and give you medications that don't even help and actually made me sick . So instead of anything that will actually help with pain do I can enjoy life and keep up with my kids, they give me meds for people with herpie flare ups and give me medicines that are supposed to go with pain medication but not the actual pain medication. I tried to get a referal that's taking months, I've tried to get an MRI on the rest of my spine before undergoing my surgery because I know the rest of my back is messed up, and I even had to call and get and review my own results for my MRI cause they didn't follow up, and they just gave me some medicine that made my entire esophagus burn and made me sick for 4 days. So much for enjoying life with my kids and I can't hardly move. I spend hours there waiting on Drs all while trying to maintain two homes two kids and take care of my terminally ill mother. I'm finding a new Drs office who actually treats my problems instead of making me sicker dumping me fill of meds their pharmaceutical salesman pay them to give me. Place is a joke. Also before I changed to a pediatric dr every time I brought my daughter there one of the male Drs would degrade her and us for not getting flu shots and be mean to my daughter when she's sick and calling her difficult and a brat, and he's lucky I'm not the man I used to be or he would be needing a dr himself. Don't go here they will give you meds from their salesmen and treat your kids bad, they don't follow up, and they once refused yo see my mom who was going to die because they said she owed them $50 . read more

I've been here about three times now; the first two times was with the same doctor, the last was with a different doctor. This last doctor was rude and hurried me on out the door without really trying to figure out what was wrong. Later, I called back to see about getting a note for work since I had missed a few days. The doctor only wrote me out for two, and when I requested for the whole time I was out to be written on the note, she denied me. Poor service! I would never suggest anyone to go to this doctor EVER. Pitiful excuse for a person who is there to help people who are sick. read more
