Even when there are longer hold times, she apologizes for the wait and makes sure all of my questions are answered. She always responds promptly and goes above and beyond to help however she can. What an amazing place to go to for your medication. My doctor accidentally sent my medication here. Instead of going through all the commotion to have it transferred to long I decided to give this pharmacy a try. To start it's a small local pharmacy. The staff members that helped me were kind and efficient. I was in and out in about 10 minutes! Unlike longs pharmacy I was not treated as "another number". I was actually able to be helped by a person! Not a self service computer! They did explain to me that the phone service is having issues. They gave me a separate number to text and call which is great! (I love great communication) Lastly free parking and lots of it! I was told best time is to pick up before lunch. The parking lot may get busy due to restaurants around them. Over all I'm pretty happy with this pharmacy! I may have longs send my medication here! Terrible customer service. They don't answer calls, they don't call or text you back. How is it possible they're still in business? I've gotten maybe 3 or 4 prescriptions refilled there and it's always a struggle getting it. Staff not friendly at all and the place is dusty and dirty. Absolutely terrible customer service. I was placed on hold for 53 minutes and nobody ever answered the phone. No updates, no option for a callback, nothing. It's extremely frustrating when you're trying to reach a pharmacy and can't get ahold of anyone for almost an hour. Customers deserve better communication and respect for their time. It's utter torture and makes me dread having to make any contact with them. So they KNOW that they - but no, it's really US - who are "experiencing longer than usual hold times," yet years go by, and they continue to do /nothing/ to staff up to handle this very TYPICAL (not at ALL unusual) "extended hold-time?" Atrociously bad. They don't pick up the phone, ever. I've tried calling on multiple occasions and been on hold for up to an hour with no one bothering to pick up. Repeatedly, I've run out of medication because using their automated refill doesn't seem to function, or they're just incompetent. Going in person leads to an immediately hostile / defensive response. At one point I was in line to inquire about my medication and the lady in front of me was there for the same issue and the guy (manager?) absolutely treated her like garbage. Do not go to this pharmacy if you want your prescriptions filled. The lady pharmacist would not fill my prescription unless I was either a regular customer or she contacted me to confirm. I never got a call because she used an outdated number. When I arrived to pick up my medication, I was told that my medication was not regularly stocked and she would have to order it from the mainland. Too late for me because I needed it in 2 days. She then agreed to transfer my prescription to the nearest cvs/longs. I waited 24 hours for the prescription to be filled and then I called longs to see if my medication was ready for pick up. No record of my prescription could be found. Lady pharmacist forgot to transfer my prescription!! Long ago when Mark was the head pharmacist, medical center pharmacy was the little neighborhood pharmacy that could. No more! I will never go there again!! read more

My refill prescriptions are never ready on time. I called Sunday night using their automated system, and it said it'll be ready 10:30 am Monday. At noon Wednesday it still wasn't ready. It's convenient parking right in front. Just make sure you don't need your meds right away. read more

If you don't want to stand in a long line with easy to find parking, this is the place for you to pick up your prescriptions. You can also get your flu shot or vaccines here but call first if they have it in stock. Picked up a prescription today and was done in two minutes from entering, paying and out the door! Medical Center Pharmacy is located at the opposite end of Aiea Bowl/The Alley. Really lousy customer service - prescription called in by my doc 3 weeks ago, called a week later and was told they needed medical notes to go along with this prescription so i let my doctor know.... Another 2 weeks and I've called again only for their LOUSY CUSTOMER SVC to tell me they were having technical issues and had CANCELLED MY PRESCRIPTION. Medical Center Pharmacy is located in the same parking lot as Aiea Bowl in the far left corner. There is ample parking and even a few stalls out front that always seem to be empty. They are a small pharmacy that specializes in compound medications. I came here throughout my pregnancy to pick up my injections. It was a compound drug so it needed to be mixed. You would not be able to find this at your local Longs or Walgreens pharmacies. The pharmacy also mails out your prescriptions as needed as well and is an option when ordering your refills. The pharmacy is very clean looking, almost like a hospital setting. They have a few vitamins and cbd products for sale. The staff are very friendly. Although I only had a handful of interactions with this pharmacy I have to say that this is a great pharmacy. If I ever need compound prescriptions again I will definitely visit here. read more

Excellent compounding pharmacy located next to Aiea Bowl. Friendly service, clean and aesthetically pleasing space, and parking. Nursing mommies: they can make APNO. My doc sent in my prescription (took about a week), and I just picked it up this morning. They accepted insurance, so my co-pay was only $7. Medical Center Pharmacy recently moved from the Pali Momi complex to their own spot. They also moved from doing mostly compound blends that can't be found elsewhere to being a fully stocked pharmacy. Their customer base is growing, but slowly. The office is located just a few doors down from Aiea Bowl, but was smart enough to add its name to the "reserved for" spots near the door. I've never had to look for a spot. The office is conveniently open on Saturday. read more

My son needed medication and Longs/Walgreens did not carry the version for infants. My doctor called Medical Center Pharmacy which compounds prescriptions from scratch if you need something specific. Within one hour, the pharmacist compounded the medicine into a syrup form so that my son could take it. The price is a little steep but not that bad considering they made it for you. They took my insurance as well, which was only supposed to be with Longs/CVS but they worked with me. This place is next to Dirty Lickins and Aiea Bowl. There are numerous stalls marked for this pharmacy only so there's lots of reserved parking. read more

The biggest struggle I had was locating this place. It's next-door to 'Dirty Lickins', The famous chicken takeout restaurant in AIEA & down the row from the AIEA Bowling Alley! Even though it's a hole in the wall pharmacy, so to speak, they know what they're doing. Plus they'll give you a quote on how much your prescription will cost ahead of time, which I appreciate. Went to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription. The clerk Was assisting a customer and I was next in line. When the customers transaction was done, they kept talking and he told the clerk "can I tell u a joke", while I am still standing in line. So he told his joke and continued talking and talking while I am still standing there waiting to be serviced. They clerk could clearly see me waiting, but chose to ignore me. So I finally spoke up and said "I am waiting to be helped, but you guys keep talking about nothing to do with pharmacy". The clerk then tells me "that she won't excuse a customer even if people are waiting, because we are family oriented". So I then asked for the manager, who came out and abruptly says "what's the problem!" (He wasn't wearing a mask) I told him that "this customer has already been helped, but they keep on talking and talking and ignoring me, while I am waiting". He responds with "so what's the problem, that's how we are here, we are family oriented". So I said "so if there is a line of people, you would continue talking story to a customer and make people wait." He responds "yes," How is that good customer service and family oriented, if you make people wait and have to listen to you talk about anything but the pharmacy and medication??? The manager didn't see anything wrong and wouldn't acknowledge this, so I just gave up and got my meds and left. I have heard from other pharmacist that they do not provide good service as well. So if you want to wait and listen to them talk story, then that's a good pharmacy to go to if you have the time! read more

This pharmacy lost the prescription my doctor had called in. When I inquired about it, Mr. Gregory (the owner) said he lost the prescription. He said, "Do you want to get another one by yourself ?" I told him to get in touch with the doctor to get it. The ointment came in syringe. I noticed the volume of prescription were short for each syringe. There were 9 syringes. In total they shorted 1 or 2 doses of prescription. When I brought them to the pharmacy they rejected to do anything to correct the situation. I took pictures of these. I wrote to Mr. Gregory. I gave reasonable time for him to respond, and he chose not to respond. I use different pharmacy with higher work ethics, quality, and better service now. read more
