When it was finally my turn, i received very good care by a doctor Keene and grateful for him because he did a really thorough examination, tests, x-rays and diagnosed me properly without rushing me out. This location has an xray technician which makes it so convenient. Highly recommend if you have a medical urgency that doesn't require an ER but you need urgent care.

A RN called me into the office and asked me some questions. After that, the Nurse Practitioner called me into another bigger office to check me out. I had clean ears after she checked and I had an ear infection. She prescribed me some me ear drops and I was on my merry way. Super convenient and easy. Wish I would've known about this place rather than going to the urgent clinic in which I waited 4 hours! The NP was super thorough and the place is clean.

I got there at 0630 and the receptionist came out at 0655. I initialed and dated 2 forms and was lead into the changing room. After a while I walked back to the reception to ask when will I be attended to. The receptionist told me that my appointment was actually at 0715. So I asked him why would; they tell me to come in at 0645, half an hour earlier than my appt, just to initial and date twice. I am not a morning person and I don't wake up to an alarm since retirement 15 years ago. He told me to complain th the MRI tech, which I did but I know nothing would be done about it.

Unfortunately, due to their walk-in the wait time can take close to an hour or so (depending on your condition). Note: Adventist urgent care providers will take patients with worst condition first to make sure they get the immediate care. Also, if its your first time there you will need to fill out a registration form to be in the system and have any easier time transferring documents or keeping in contact.

They said they would get back to me with a "transfer of care" but they never did. They tried to get me to transfer to Castle urology, which is too far for me. I was told they are understaffed but THAT'S NOT MY PROBLEM. It's their problem, and Straub Pearlridge has made no attempt to resolve this. Don't bother to get a blood test at this clinic. Long wait times. I ended up leaving after waiting for 45 minutes. The clinic was packed with people who had the flu. Shortly afterwards, I caught the flu from waiting so long in a crowded, shared space with sick patients. Years back, I ran into the same problem with HPH Straub psychiatry department. I could only see a doctor once a month online for 10 minutes. Their talk therapists weren't taking new patients. 15-20 years ago, Straub was a decent system. But for certain specialists and clinics, they have gone downhill. I strongly suggest to avoid Straub Pearlridge, especially their urology department and for getting blood tests.

He explained what the findings were for people with long covid, and what to test for. We did blood work and sure enough he found multiple issues including activated epstein barre, blood clotting, and the presence of lingering spike protein causing havoc in my body. Dr. Inouye informed us that patient had 3+ fractures showing us on the X-ray taken prior. No surgery needed per her consult with surgeon, no pain meds prescribed. Icing for 20 minutes and OTC Tylenol advised as prescribed pain killers might delay healing. Dr. Inouye is very personable, easy to talk to, she said she doesn't do surgeries and goes every Tuesday to Straub Kapolei. We will continue to come to Pali Momi, Aiea. Return visit in two weeks with more xrays. First time that I can recall hubs will be off work for all 3 holidays this year. He is always working on holidays. He can barely walk nor move his fractured side without severe pain. Just call me, Florence Nightin' Gail- chief chauffeur, cook and body washer. Enjoy your holidays and keep safe. After check-in, you're called back to change into a robe and store your belongings in a secure, key-locked locker. From there, you wait in a calming area decorated with beautiful paintings, a ceiling of white clouds and blue sky, and soft Hawaiian music playing in the background. There are two waiting rooms to choose from, both relaxing, with the cooking channel often playing on TV -- small touches that make the experience more comfortable. When it's time for the exam, the staff guide you through each step with professionalism and care. At the end, the physician reviews your images and shares the results with you right away, and you can also access your report conveniently through MyChart. Overall, Pali Momi Women's Center provides excellent care in a setting that feels supportive, clean, and calm.
