I browsed through the beauty department along the way. The photo department is near the front by the check out area. They have bodyboards near the entrance, since this location is near the beach. You should sign up for their free rewards program. You enter your phone number whenever you purchase anything and accumulate points. Those points turn into dollars off after hitting a certain amount.

Techs need more training in better communication with clients to stop being defensive when clients ask questions and to be upfront with client options instead of clients prompting techs for assistance and options. I even lost some hard earned money because of their poor communication and client service. Do not recommend. Switched to Costco pharmacy as cheaper and no issues. It's been several years now, and I no longer have to drive to another pharmacy send my local one is most likely the best on the island. They take the time to make things work when there's hiccups, they treat everyone like they know them personally, and they're outright incredibly friendly. I feel lucky to live so close to such a unique pharmacy! The store is itself is usually run quite efficiently as well with one of my favorite employees always waving with a happy quick little tilt to his head. He's incredibly friendly in a way I've never seen before. The store is lucky to have him and forgive me for not remembering his name, but he always waves and smiles and slightly tilts his head with every single customer. What was disappointing wasn't just the delay--it was the complete lack of concern for the situation. I explained that I rely on Uber for transportation and would have to pay for another ride just to return and pick up medication that had already been prescribed. There was no effort to offer a solution, no flexibility, and no empathy. When someone is sick and seeking treatment, basic compassion goes a long way. I have been going here for a couple of years now and I have to say, the pharmacy staff is great and on the ball. They friendly, efficient and informative when you have questions. Sometimes vaccines or prescriptions are not available but they are more than happy to work with you to schedule a more convenient time or another store that night have what you need. Of the many Longs I have visited on occasion, this Longs harkens to the days when a friendly, familiar face was what you could count on. Note: this Longs location as a whole does not appear to have all the items you would find at larger Longs locations- they of course have the items that are on the weekly sale, but not necessarily a large selection of other items.

Not really my go to Long's and it's not just the location which isn't in my area yup but the location that's right across the shopping center which is great that they're not a part of it so the parking situation is exclusively their own but getting there right off Kalanianaole Hwy you can't make a left turn so I had to drive further down and make a turn around to get into the lot. The store feels quite dated and a bit on the smaller side but I did stop by this location since I was in the area and not wanting to deal with Kahala Mall and search for parking and decide to give this place a try, the selection wasn't that great for me and just didn't have items that I was looking for. Great for the residents in the area but the accessibility and selection here isn't for me which is sad considering it's such a lovely location. Thank you!

Hubs used their restroom after a family of 4. It's by their minute clinic and you need a key. We also picked up lemon peel, ginger, li hing cherry, and more. Doc was generous as ever and paid for everything. She's too quick. Glad we found this store as we had Yelped 2 crack seed shops that were supposed to be nearby. Longs had what we needed so we headed home after that.

Walgreen had stores in Nuuanu, Market City and near Ala Moana (Flagship store) which are now closed! Walgreen have some items others stores may not offered. Good to see some different items since they have different buyers and distributors. Great they have a 24 hour drive through pharmacy. You can always get your prescription any time of the day! My friend likes their manual toothbrushes since only a few places still sell " firm" toothbrushes. Walgreen offered vast variety of handicap and health home products and test kits. You have to check out their dollar section aisle which is cool at the Kaneohe and Kalihi locations that I'm aware of. You may find mouth washes, drink mix packets, can of soups, zippered bags, soap and more in the dollar section! it's such a bargain price! They have reasonable toilet paper prices for their brand. If you're like me, the 1-ply toilet paper is perfect for those who like to use so much for one use. I'm a fan of the big jug of decaf diet Arizona drink. They have a reward program and can get their Walgreen's app on your phone and start savings. One of their store brand is "Nice" and I usually buy their snack/nuts from there also Worth checking it out, never know what you would find. 09/24/22 was the last day to use the coupon book since they are going all digital savings.
