Best care around. Couldn't have asked for a better staff. Dr. Fryer was an absolute professional and will be going back

I have been keeping my mouth shut for a while. But after two years of being away from Mr. Miller,…read morehe is one of the most condescending doctors I have ever met. I seen him for almost a year before I brought up my mental health to him because he did NOT offer a welcoming environment. "Why didn't you find someone else?" Because I was hoping I might've just caught him on bad days. (I have too much faith in humanity being kind.) His nurse practitioner does NOT offer welcoming. (I only seen her one time officially other than her coming into the room for the starter stuff like BP and Temperature.) Miller listens to what he wants to hear, I brought up being tested for some mental disabilities, he said to me "My niece is autistic if you were autistic you would've been on my radar, you just need more therapy." I wasn't even the one who asked for said testing my therapist suggested it. I went for testing through a facility in Nashville and came back with not one but three diagnoses. I was suggested to see a medication specialist because the medication Miller put me on was questionable for what I was diagnosed with not to mention all three gave negative side effects and one of those medications I should not have been taking directly with the other two. After a few meetings with the medication specialist, the medication I was on was in fact making me worse. After talking with the therapist I have not returned to Miller or his practice. I refuse to, he does not listen, he doesn't care to. My wife has a rare allergy to certain medications. She was told by Pam, his nurse practitioner that she (my wife) was NOT allergic to said medications. When my wife has been tested by Vanderbilt allergy center in Nashville. They had copies of the allergy testing but continued to try to prescribe her (my wife) something that can kill her. My advice if you have any mental health struggles or disabilities, stay away from Miller. He will belittle you, talk over you, he will make you feel like everything you feel is in your head only. I thought he would be a great choice as he's a veteran and a former military doctor at that. Why was the whole "veteran" thing so important? Because I have a lot of family members that have servers across multiple services and different eras/wars. I was excited to be able to HOPEFULLY be able to have someone with knowledge and care for patients. Dead wrong.... He will throw his years of service in your face and then bring up about how he knows better then you (ok fair, you do have your license but also there's a degree of arrogance that is not needed that goes with that.) I went to him being positive and excited, after the third appointment I should've just went to someone else, but he ( Miller) made me feel as though no one else would take me on. My advice, see someone who's specialized in the care you need plus family care. He has knowledge but will wave that in your face and belittle you if you bring up any known facts. My experience with Miller has left a very harsh impact on me and my thoughts on doctors. I still have not found a primary care doctor because the anxiety of being undermined and belittled.
