Very disappointed in Allstate and this broker. I was with them for six months, paid my premiums…read morefaithfully. When I shopped for a better rate and found one, I informed Jody that I would be leaving Allstate. She told me there was a balance on my account equal to one month's premium. I disputed this and was told to take it up with the home office. No communication came for several weeks, so I called Jody's office to follow up. No return call. Soon after, I received a bill for the disputed amount saying it was their 3rd attempt to contact me...LIE! Days later I received a notice that my account had been sent to collections. So sad. As it turns out, the "amount due" was the "discounts" that had been applied to my policy that Allstate wanted back now that I was no longer a customer. Very random charges which I settled with the collections agency for 30% less and I'm sure they still made money. Ii will never trust Allstate or this office in Bozeman again.
