Have been with Medicine Man West for 15+ years and received excellent service. However lately the refill times have jumped from hours to days, and I have been faced with stock outs. The store retail shelves are bare with a note they are waiting for a new supplier. Obviously there is something going on internally that is impacting their client delivery, as even the atmosphere has changed away from being very happy and friendly. We are hanging in there hoping it will be able to get back to the service we have always enjoyed from them, but its not looking very good at the moment. read more

Despite my willingness to pay for a product they would not put out the effort. My measly $250.00 to $500.00 order was not big enough for them to bother with. These people are a huge disappointment. On several occasions our family has been there to pick up prescriptions and we have had to beg them to wear a mask. The attitude that they display about the subject makes it clear that they are not professionals in the medical industry. They openly demonstrate that they have absolutely no concerns about the well-being of their customers, and they openly and freely ridicule their customers both to their faces and behind their backs. My advice is to avoid this business at all costs. They are not caring, competent, cost effective or convenient. They literally have no redeeming qualities. read more

i would not even recommend to my worst enemy to go here. i was going here for 20 years but when i had to take hydrocodones for my surgery they treated me so bad. i believe his name was Alan or Orrin. this is the second time i have had the same problem with this same exact guy. I'm sure he is treating other people that have to take pain meds the same way. I'm gonna try to get ahold of medicin man to file a complain. i guess i have to give a 1 star rating. what a joke. it deserves negative stars. read more

A huge shout out to the staff and pharmacists at Medicine Man! We have found them all to be courteous, friendly and helpful. Easy in and out with our flu shot, shingrix shots and our most recent emergency need. I usually get my medications from a mail service based on my insurance plan. I'm out. The meds are delayed and we're leaving for Mexico .... today! I called Medicine Man and told them about my dilemma. The pharmacist was so helpful in walking through rx numbers, drug names and needed 1-800 numbers. He called the company 3x's to get through but made the magic happen. Thank you Medicine Man!!! I'm trying to write this in a way that does not broadcast too much of my personal information, yet still allows you, the reader, to understand the situation. Medicine Man West is now one of the worst pharmacies you can choose and is quite comparable to Walgreens. I have been a loyal customer for five years, however, I will be changing pharmacies now and taking my entire family with me. If you are a long term care patient, a Cancer Survivor like myself on a medication regimen, or someone that simply cannot play roulette with your medications Medicine Man West is not the pharmacy for you. Getting in the door is sometimes the hardest step to having your prescriptions filled. Medicine Man West has the worst parking lot and drive through window you will find in this area. There have been many times when I couldn't even get in the front door - the business being so crowded. You would think this a good sign, you would think this to mean they do plenty of business. However, don't be fooled, the reason this pharmacy is always so crowded is, at least in my experience, because the pharmacists will frequently fill one prescription at a time and call you back to their shop on a daily basis to pick up each medication. If you have four or five prescriptions to be filled count on taking time out of your day, during work hours, to go back to Med Man West and wait for each drug, one bottle, box, or cream at a time. This is likely to offer the illusion of a thriving business. It's a nightmare for someone that has a handful of prescriptions to refill monthly. I personally have had at least three different occasions when I have not been able to have the medications my Oncologist has prescribed filled at Medicine Man West without a fight. I don't have to battle my insurance company for the drug, I have to endure verbal abuse and unjust accusations from the pharmacist regarding the medications my doctor believes will benefit my condition. It is often like trying to take your lunch back from the playground bully just to fill your prescriptions and you should be aware that if you are not thick skinned you will go away feeling as though you have done something wrong in asking for your prescriptions to be filled or refilled. Having medication refilled, especially if it's a monthly regimen like mine, is not any easier. I have had the pharmacist tear me apart verbally for trying to refill even just my Premarin Cream prescription. I've stopped using the medication all together rather than subject myself to the verbal abuse again the next time I'd need to refill. There are nice, helpful, and even educational pharmacists working at Medicine Man West, I would never argue that. However, there is at least one pharmacist there that would be better suited as a Bouncer in a shady night club, and good luck not having her get a hold of you and your prescriptions. read more

I was amazed when the offered to pay for half of my son's perscription before we had insurance. They have all my bussiness from here on.
