The store on Honeysuckle needs to close. There is never anyone at the cashier's desk, they are always hiding in the photo dept. The pharmacy is the worst. Always understaffed and it takes forever to get your Rx. I bought some lidocaine cream at Walgreens for $9 and it was $5 at Walmart (returned the one for $9). This store never answers their phone and if you can ever find a sales clerk, they are always on the rag. I get my Rx at Safeway now - they are fast and cheerful and no wait times. read more

Worst Walgreens, in the area... we go monthly to Walgreens, just a different one! accounts are linked together and in the system, unless you have someone who shouldn't be doing that job!! Data entry gal had NO clue what she was doing, wasted 1-1/2hrs just to come back and find out they had NO IDEA how long it would be because they outsourced the data entry. Talked to the pharmacy manager all he could say was sorry and there is nothing they could do... idk how bout "do better"!! Went to Walmart pharmacy instead, never filled a RX there before, in and out in 15 mins, Walmart pharmacy in Hayden was awesome! Don't use Walgreens in Hayden Idaho on HWY 95 and Honeysuckle! Wanted to purchase an item that would save me $4 with a coupon. Was told I needed to download the app so spent time doing that. I had the very unpleasant experience of stopping by Walgreens at 260 W Honeysuckle Ave, Hayden, ID 83835 a little after 12 noon today to purchase a Visa Vanilla Gift card which I have been doing once a month for at least a couple of years ever since my bank issued debit card was hacked. Unfortunately, the cashier, Bryce, rudely asked me what I was going to use it for to which I replied that it was none of his business whereupon he informed me that it sounded suspicious to him and he took the card and either threw it onto the floor or counter on his side and refused to sell it to me. This is the first (and last) time I will ever set foot in this Walgreens store. I have never had this happen at any of the other Walgreens stores. I just wanted to add that in addition to purchasing Visa Vanilla gift cards at Walgreens once a month I often buy other needed items as well. Lastly, I don't expect to be treated like royalty but I also don't expect to be treated like pond scum which is exactly how I was treated by Bryce. I honestly do not recall ever having been treated in a ruder manner anywhere at any time and from the looks of the other online reviews it looks like lots of customers have had problems with this particular Walgreens outlet, not just me. As a side note I went to a nearby Family Dollar outlet 30 minutes later and had no problem purchasing a Vanilla gift card and the fee was even a dollar less expensive than what Walgreens charges. read more

Came in a few weeks ago and had a terrible experience. I was attempting to receive a second dose of a vaccine; I am a veteran and needed to receive this second dose due to lost records and a close deadline that I had to make for schooling. I had already received the first dose at this same location from a male pharmacist, who was very pleasant. The female pharmacist who was present when I attempted to get my second dose not only decided to deny it to me, claiming it was "dangerous to receive", but also questioned my veteran status and went on a random rant about immigrants receiving cheap/free vaccines. I felt extremely disrespected having my veteran status questioned, and frankly uncomfortable by her remarks that felt very politically motivated. Y'all need to keep things more consistent and professional. read more

He was condescending and full of angst, when I had a very simple COVID test question! The ONLY reason I go there is because my insurance requires that I do. Super clean store. Friendly employees stocking and whistling away. Fun summer section with some darn cute sun dresses, really? :) The man that checked us out was funny and prompt. While standing in the Rx department, I look a bit bewildered with a pre juice detox question. The pharmacist (she had on a coat, not scrubs) offered to help me while she was on hold on the big clunky Rx phone. (Its 2014, how come they don't wear wireless headsets? That's GOT to put a qink in the neck) Privacy maybe? Anyways, she was EXTREMLY comforting and didn't act weird at all when I said, reboot, enema, organic, and coffee. Not all in that order. Yea. I said. Yea. I posted it. What. Overall, as of late, the store is under stocked, but organized and clean. Service was horrendous at the pharmacy. My prescription was submitted 24 hours ago... I was sent out of line four times because they didn't have it completed! 3 Items! The walk in lines are long, and the pharmacy drive through is worse. They are abrupt, and there is a tall tatted guy that is rude. On my initial approach to the window, he told me I would have to wait 20 minutes. On my second approach to his window to inquire about my prescriptions, he closed his window, and went to the drive through window! What a real jerk! Definitely changing pharmacies after this! Note that they close promptly at 1800, and that they are closed from 1330 to 1400. Don't believe the signs that they are open until 2100. They are not. I don't recommend this pharmacy for your pharmaceutical needs. Slow, bad customer service and lack of courtesy. read more

Horrible customer service on more than one occasion and I will be telling anyone asking my opinion to not go to the Walgreens on Honeysuckle in Hayden if they have any other option. I went in today to get a Covid Booster shot. I had a prior poor experience trying to get a booster there so I went online to get an appointment and fill out the required paperwork because the website claimed it saves time. My previous poor experience of being asked to step out of line (which I'd been in for 30 minutes already) to fill out a separate justification form for being able to get the booster (back in August of 2021). The older man behind the counter was very brusque and implied that there were specific types of immunocompromised situations that had to be met. I had met them, filled out the paperwork, got back in line (for another 30 minutes). I ultimately did get the 1st booster but between the wait and the rude clerk, it left a poor impression. Hence, filling out the necessary paperwork this time, from home, and getting an appointment, I figured I'd be golden. Wrong. I was asked to fill out the front sides of a form (parts A and B) which I'd already filled out online, to "expedite" the process. So I did this and placed the clipboard with my form in the exact place that they had given it to me. Forty minutes later (after my scheduled appt. time) an older gal called me back for the shot. I'd mentioned the long wait and asked what the point was for the online process (since it clearly didn't save me time). And yes, she could tell I was irritated but she made the excuse that they couldn't find my paperwork, implying that I hadn't returned it in the correct location, rather than just immediately apologizing. And yes, I was a little extra irritated because during the 40 minute wait, I had overheard two separate customer interactions with the older gentleman clerk where he was again, brusque and I felt rude. So, between the two Walgreen employees today and prior experiences at this particular Walgreens, I did just walk out, without my booster. I will never return there and, as I said, will encourage anyone else to boycott that store, at least until they get a few kinder, more empathetic humans behind the counter. read more

My husband and I obtained passport photos from this Walgreens and while the service was friendly, the quality was not very good. My passport was processed successfully, the my husbands was rejected due to the passport photo quality. We went back and they offered to take another photo for free, but the photo was overexposed and the post office recommended that we get another photo taken, so we went to another store. Lots of wasted time on our side due to this quality concern. read more
