I've booked minutes before and then only waited a few minutes before being seen. Staff is knowledgeable and the care is quality. This has become my go to urgent care spot in the area.

Of course, let's get to the $$ first. Then Waited. Was told it wouldn't be long. 4 people in the waiting room, I was still there when 5 people came out of the back. Waited some more & asked to use the restroom again. She said "oh, you sure, we were just going to call you." Confirmed an exam room and sent me in. Then sat down with her phone. I waited. Really needed that restoom as I was vomiting & had diarrhea. I then came out of the exam room to stress I needed the restroom. I was directed to the locked one in the lobby (where I had tried to go already but was stopped). Eventually a young lady came in for vitals, asked why I was there, when I told her my doctor's suspicions (cyclosporasis) she had no clue what I was talking about. How is that even possible? Then I waited some more, When the "provider" came in I had to desperatly use the restroom again. When I came back out I had to go look for her. Always follow the phone. So, I explained why my doctor suggested I come. Diarrhea, vomiting, sweats, for 3 days. She then started lecturing me. To paraphrase: I don't know why people keep coming in here thinking they have this; this is somethine we haven't seen before; you could be under the weather, or you could have ate something. "Yes, that's it, I ate something!" Well, the only way we could determine that is with a stool sample, I offered to pour one into a cup right then and there. "No we don't do that here." So there's nothing you can do? I was rewarded with that sumpathetic, patronizing eye roll. I left, and now here I am. Dr. Ruvo, hire competent people. Not even an offer to hydrate. Vomiting/Diarrhea for days and "too bad, so sad?"

5 STARS for the office and staff. 1 STAR for the billing…read moredepartment. I visited this office in September 2024 for an earache and was blown away by how professional, clean, and kind the staff was. The care itself? Excellent. The billing department, however, feels like a never-ending nightmare. I requested multiple times to be switched to self-pay (under $200), yet they continue billing me as if I had insurance--$575 for someone to take a quick look in my ear. I even paid a $35 co-pay at the time of service, thinking that was the end of it. Since then, I've been hit with bill after bill, each over $500. I've called. I've explained. They note the account and...send another bill. At this point, I've given up trying to fix it myself. I just wait for them to call me, ask if they've updated my account, and the cycle repeats... 4 months and counting. The care? Top-notch. The billing? Like a public restroom during a stomach flu outbreak-- chaotic, messy, and best avoided. My two cents: Visit with caution. If you can get the same level of care without the financial headache, do it. I've since switched to telehealth with MediShare for $300/month, and my last earache was resolved with a free consult and a prescription for amoxicillin-- no surprise bills attached.

The care I received was perfectly adequate. Nothing exceptional, but nothing to complain about,…read moreeither. Really, that is about all I am expecting out of any urgent care experience. Reason for the 1 star rating: after I had already visited this urgent care multiple times and they had successfully submitted claims to my insurance without issue, I received a bill for several hundred dollars for care that I received in September 2025, stating that my insurance had denied the claim. I contacted my insurance, who advised me that yes, this urgent care was a participating provider. The claim was simply denied because it was sent to the wrong address. The person I spoke to offered to call the billing department and advise them regarding the address they should be using. I assumed that would be the end of this. However, I continued to receive email notifications stating that I owed this money on my account. Finally, I emailed their billing department and explained what had happened. They emailed back, asking me for the address that they should mail the claims to. I replied, "No idea, my insurance company only stated that the address you sent it to was incorrect and that they would give you the correct address. I see no reason for me to be in the middle of this situation as I have already paid you what I owe. Here is a copy of the front and back of my insurance card, which you already have on file. The contact information for my insurance company is located on the back." Over a week goes by, no response, but I did still receive multiple billing notifications during this time, stating that I owed hundreds of dollars because my insurance denied the service. I sent another email several days ago to follow up but have still not received a response. Unsure where else to turn, I filed a complaint with the New York State Office of the Attorney General, as I am beginning to wonder if ignoring insurance coverage and repeatedly billing the patient until they give in to paying something that they do not owe is actually a strategy utilized by this horrible organization. I have lost hours of my time to this issue. I will never go to this urgent care again, which is quite annoying as the next closest urgent care requires about 40 minutes more driving than this one did. I suppose if you are completely self-paying, you will not experience these issues, but honestly their billing department is so incompetent that I would not be surprised if they figured out a way to screw that up, too. Edit: The link provided by the proprietor in the comment to my post is to the form that I filled out already, that connected me with the billing department that responded once and has since ignored all follow up inquiries from me. I have spent over FIVE hours trying to get THEIR issue resolved. Important to note is that I work in education and have a VERY common insurance plan that MANY public employees have. If you are a public employee, DO NOT go to this urgent care unless you want to be trapped into some forced labor situation in which you have to continually try to teach this billing department which one is their elbow and which one is their bottom, only to fail at EVERY attempt.

The wait wasn't long, but that's about the only positive thing I can say. The assistant asked me the standard questions about my allergies and medications, which I answered clearly. Then Dr. Selena Lebron came in, asked the exact same questions again, and even accused me of not disclosing a drug allergy--something I had already told the assistant. She mumbled throughout the visit, barely making eye contact, and didn't even tell me whether my test was positive or not before jumping straight to prescribing two medications. When I asked for clarification--what the medications were, how many, when to take them, and what they were for--she seemed annoyed by my questions and said, "The pharmacy will give you instructions." Completely unacceptable. I also asked why I was having these symptoms and how I can prevent them. She then told me I'd get a referral to a urologist. Spoiler: I never received one. A few days later, I had severe side effects from the medication (nausea, vomiting, throbbing headache), so I called the clinic. The man who answered the phone was incredibly rude and dismissive. He offered no guidance and just said, "I don't know, go to the ER." Then another doctor got on the phone and said since the original doctor wasn't there, there was nothing he could do unless I came in and paid another co-pay--or went to the ER. No responsibility, no care, no concern. Just rude, unhelpful, and borderline negligent. I will never be going back to this place, and I strongly recommend others stay far away.

That is already unacceptable on a Monday, even worse not reflected by their online scheduler, which showed all time slots wide open. Reception also failed to disclose any delay when I checked in - I would have been content to run errands for that hour instead of my valuable time being wasted, as well to avoid sitting at length in a wait room with a sick patient. I inquired at the one hour mark how much longer, as I had another pending appointment, and the doctor snapped at me that he was alone and the other patients were more important. When he finally took the 60 seconds to remove my three stitches, the doctor continued to berate me for being impatient and insignificant compared to greater medical crises that reach walk-in clinics - crises, by the way, for which Emergency One's own website instructs patients to visit an emergency room, not their facility. I tried to politely suggest that perhaps E1 should abandon its scheduling tool, as it can create an unrealistic expectation for the patient - but I was wrong about that as well. In fact, I was '"lucky" to get in when I did. That doctor is just nasty and belligerent, a first-class *ss hole. Never coming back!
