I missed the first email (junk mail bin), but they also left a voicemail looking to get in touch over my order. I emailed them back and they sent along some sharpening oil, etc with my order when it did arrive. I've gotta say, this is not what I expected as an online, faceless customer. But besides being delighted over my new axe, I'm happy that they valued my business enough to personally reach out and make sure that the resolution over the shipping delays was tailored to me. Don't buy Arc'teryx!…read more I own several Arc'teryx jackets, and almost all of them have shown the same failure: the waterproof zippers delaminated and the seam tapes started peeling off, despite extremely light use. These jackets were stored clean in a closet for most of their life, with no visible wear or damage anywhere else. The only failures were in the zippers and seam tapes, which clearly points to structural integrity issues and premature material breakdown, not misuse. When I contacted Arc'teryx Warranty, the response was extremely disappointing. They suggested the jackets needed washing every 5-20 days of use -- which makes no sense given how little they were worn -- and then offered only 20% of the original MSRP if I returned the jackets. I asked for proper repairs (even at a reasonable cost), but they refused. For a brand that markets itself as "premium" and charges premium prices, the durability is shockingly poor, and the warranty support does not match the reputation. I own Gore‑Tex jackets and non Gore-Tex jackets from The North Face, Patagonia, Marmot, and MEC that are older and still look new. None have seam tape or zipper failures. I'll be sharing this experience on consumer platforms to help others make informed decisions. At this price point, customers deserve better materials, better construction, and far better warranty support.

I've been itching to check out this store, and I'm really not sure why I never ventured in here sooner. Maybe it just wasn't the right time. This past year my urge to hike has kicked into overdrive and lately I've been all about outdoor activities - so going in here not only cured some boredom, but got me excited for the warmer months and getting back out on the trails. The shop shares a building with another business. Once you go up the steps and into the building, the shop is straight back (and pretty hard to miss with the signs!) This shop is pretty large, with everything and anything to fill your outdoor needs. Tons of apparel with popular outdoor brands like Carhartt, hiking boots, and other useful gear for camping and hiking. You can get snow shoes and chains here for your winter hikes, and there's even some gear for your dog! I only came in here for the socks but I also left with these cool fake "skipping stone" dog toys, and a double sided spoon/fork. Total score! Looking forward to returning in the summer to fulfill more of my hiking needs. P.S. I love my socks. They're stylish and keep my feet warm!

I must have written that review way before I gave myself enough time to decide if I liked the socks or not, but here I am 4 years later and I now EXCLUSIVELY WEAR DARN TOUGH SOCKS. Thank you, Aurora Outfitters, for turning me onto these wonderful socks. Also thank you, past tense me for clairvoyantly deciding to purchase said socks and change my life forever. We were on the hunt for a reasonably priced winter jacket. Although there were some good deals, the sizing and the colour was really hit or miss. There huge sizes left like XXL or XXXLs but not much in the S which we wanted primarily. There was a lot of camping gear and small accessories. The cooler stuff that I haven't seen before included like a pop up tent that doesn't require staking! There were different sizes for these but nothing like the 8 room colossal tents that you can walk through. You can still pick up a lot of smaller things like fountains, food storage bags, waterproof blankets, and other ancillary items.
