I am in the middle of some serious medical issues and have no doctor assigned to me. I was told there is no one taking on her patients. I wanted someone to go over my MRI results with me and was given an appt with the NP Stephanie Workman who I requested to not be seen by. During said visit she states "well, I don't typically read MRI's but I'll read what's stated on the report". I did that myself and searched on Google prior to the visit. I stated I would like a doctor note for my back issues as I have been coming for this since September of 2023 with no type of resolution to be met with "You can ask the sun of your employer it doesn't mean they will work with you". I had already cleared this with my employer and should not be ridiculed by your NP who thinks she knows my situation at work. She just did not want to take the time to write the work restriction note and it was clear she didn't want to help me. Her attitude is poor and she seems to not know answers. I have a current referral to U of M for my back to which she asked why I was not going to see the back doctor through HF. This is exactly why. Almost a year of coming for the same issue with no answers and now no actual doctor assigned to me. I wasted my time to have zero questions answered by a nurse practitioner who could not answer them. I am fully transferring care to Beaumont as this whole situation with the doctor leaving was handled poorly and could have been taken care of in a more appropriate manner.

My mother spent 7 days here after receiving a poor diagnosis from the Flower Hospital palliative…read morecare doctor. The nurse liaison was also way off base. They insisted our mother would be best served in this facility. LESS than 12 hours later we were told by the nurses and social worker that our mother didn't belong here and we needed to find someone else immediately. This was less than 24 hours after receiving a terminal diagnosis. The care was horrible. They made her defecate in her Depends because "it was too difficult" to move her. They confined her to her bed and refused to let her even sit in a chair for the same reason. My mother weighs 150 pounds. We were told my mother bit someone and was constantly agitated. This is after 24 hours of asking them to provide the proper medications for her because "they couldn't get hold of them". The clinical director later said she absolutely did not bite anyone. They ruined her chances of getting into a hospice nursing home because of the biting report and keeping her on Haldol to keep her sleepy and compliant. They they told us the doctor was taking her off of inpatient hospice and we would need her to begin paying $270 a day to keep her there. The nurses were rude and brusque. They literally laughed in my mother's face when she asked for something that didn't make sense because of her dementia. This was one of the worst experiences of our lives. My three sisters and I couldn't wait to get my mother out of this facility. It made us sick to watch how she was cared for. The building may look nice but it's rotten to its core.

She reviewed my chart thoroughly to see what had helped me and what didn't. I feel I was more than adequately treated. My biggest surprise and the lady that made my day was her assistant Shineki S. I had to get injection in my hip. I explained I can get them in my arm all day long but in my hip I stiffen up and can't relax. She insisted it had to be my hip. If there is a Hall of Fame for Injection Givers Shineki S needs to be the first inductee. She was kind, understanding, had warm hands and when she said "your all done" I looked at her and said "with the shot??" she said yes with the shot. I couldn't believe it I felt absolutely NOTHING. I would not go to a different Urgent care for anything. This is the best. The receptionists have always been kind and welcoming as well.

I came here when I broke my foot a few years ago, and I went there eight times for different…read moreappointments over the course of two months. Dr. Melonakos is very friendly. I didn't have insurance, but it didn't seem to cost too much money to go there. When everything was all said and done, my bill was $880. For comparison, my one trip to the ER cost me $1,200 for basically an x-ray and a soft splint to hold me over. At Frenchtown Orthopedics, I had a dozen x-rays, two casts, and several visitations. Every time I went there, I was in and out in less than an hour. Melonakos recommended I get surgery on my foot since it was broken pretty bad and wasn't healing as fast, but I couldn't afford it. It took a long time for it to heal and be pain-free, but there was nothing I could do about it. With the $880 price tag when I was done, they gave me very reasonable repayment options: pretty much pay what I can within a reasonable time. They didn't add late fees or hound me to make absurd payments. I paid it off within a year. A few years later, I broke my toes and needed to see a foot specialist, but unfortunately, I didn't live in the area at the time.
