I went in, and before I was finished undressing she came back in. The massage itself was mediocre at best. I asked for a specific area of my back to be focused on and really didn't get that. She left the room several times. This is apparently a normal thing here, my girlfriend had the same experience and I see from other reviews this has happened to other people as well. She finished before the hour was up. Another customer had come in, and she left the room to greet the customer and lead them to another room. I got up to get dressed and again, she entered the room before I finished dressing. Umm, excuse me, do you mind? Apparently she did not, because she left the door open and started remaking the massage table. Once I was dressed she took it as a signal to stand in the doorway to await her tip. I tipped her $15 (25% on a $60 massage). She then asked me for another $5 dollars, I just said "no, that's ok", I wasn't having it. If you're going to go here, just be aware that you may have this kind of experience. I personally won't be having this experience there again.

Most of the time she used no pressure and just grazed her hands over me, i dont actually know how someone could give a massage that felt so bad no only was it extremely light pressure somehow it was painful. I can't read the Chinese characters on his phone screen to show him how to fix it. The guy told me to bring my own headphones next time (I tried this once and couldn't relax with two sources of music playing at once). He was clearly unhappy with me. And I was unhappy too, because now I don't want to go back to my favorite massage place. Every massage I have had there was great (except for the danged music). Has anybody else noticed the five-minute music loop there? I'd be really curious to know whether it bothers anyone else. Let me start by saying the sign outside does not say Ripple Spa & Massage (can't remember what it…read morewas called) but another massage place so it was a bit confusing at first. We were greeted by the massage therapist and had back to back appointments because there was only one massage therapist in house that day. Both massage therapists speak Mandarin and English so it was easy to communicate with them. The one who accepted the call for the appointments was not there so when we walked in the massage therapist seemed a bit thrown back when we came in but we also had only made the appointments 30 minutes prior. My friend who got their massage first said it was great, saying she put in a lot of pressure to relieve all tension. I did not receive the same pressure but I assume it's because I was her third client in a row which is understandably tiring. She was very thorough with our full body massages going over the back, waist, pelvic area, part of the glutes, chest, scalp, face, hands, feet, legs, fingers, and arms. I was embarrassed when I had to flip over to lay on my back cause I was COLD and my nips definitely reflected that! The sheet they cover you with is thin (think flat sheet in a sheet set) and the table doesn't have any heating whatsoever. The floors were heated but that didn't really help since I'm laying on the table majority of the time. I did see the thermostat was set at 75 degrees so it really could have just been me that was cold but a thicker sheet could have definitely helped. All in all, the prices are decent and I would come again.
