They said it would be done in 45 mins. I came back an hour and a half later and they were not done for another 20 minutes. Parking lot is horrific, tiny and super busy. I had a good RX coupon. After I left I realized they never applied it, and I was overcharged $40. I have to pay a driver and due to having to wait so much longer I lost even more money having to pay them. read more

Not happy with the amount of time it takes for scripts to be filled. One week ago my doc called telling me she was increasing dosage on one of my meds. I expected a call from the pharmacy within a day or two. None came. I waited a full week and called them. I was told they had the new order and that it was in the queue. I did receive an apology, but now the script must be filled and sent out. That part never happens quickly. In the past, when there has been a delay and I have called, the pharmacy has pointed the finger at the doctor's office. When I check with the doctor's office, they always tell me the order was sent. The compounded semiglutide I found to be ineffective. After 4 months I still found an increased dose to have little effect on weight or appetite. Research is showing the compounded version can be mixed with salts or placebo. Nice staff though. read more

Called my refill in and they just lost it, never arrived and they claim was never ordered. Reordered and the price was $50+, went to refill again and it was $100+... they claim the ingredients costs rose, but they didn't at a competing pharmacy. Seems like greed to me. read more

I am fed up with this place. I am now two weeks late on my shot because of them. My order was sent "overnight" but still came 4 days late and it didn't even come with needles to use so I had to call again and they said they would overnight some for me for free (which it should be free anyways since they forgot to put them in my package). Now it's been another 4 days for an "overnight" shipment and still nothing. Absolutely ridiculous for the amount of money people pay for this! read more

They even compound medications for dogs. I have used them myself for meds a few years ago, but this was the first time I used them for canine issues. They are fast and professional and make sure you understand how to use the medication. The prices seem reasonable but I have nothing to compare it to. My veterinarian called in the prescription on Friday and they called me Monday morning to let me know the price and to confirm that I wanted it filled. They also wanted to know if I wanted to pick it up or have it shipped. I picked it up just because I wanted my dog to start taking the medication right away. read more

The customer service this compounding pharmacy offers is unmatched. When I relocated here several months ago, my doctor and I were having a hard time trying to figure why my same dosage of thyroid medicine didn't seem to be working well. The pharmacist called my pharmacy in my previous town to figure out what was different and then relayed the adjustment that needed to be made to my doctor. Fast forward a few months and all of sudden things were not well again. When I called University to see if my script was filled exactly like the previous one it was discovered that my doctor didn't note the change and I was back to the previous prescription. Even though it was not their error, the pharmacist discounted the corrected prescription. That was a pretty big deal to me since my insurance does not cover my meds. Clean facility, nice staff. However, I wasn't called to be informed my prescription was ready. It was a Friday and would have had to wait til Monday to have it available if I didn't initiate following up myself. There seems to be a disconnect there, not only for me, but previous reviews I have read also. I was looking up the new address when I started reading the ridiculous reviews. Being a nurse it's obvious to know ONLY a doctor/qualified professional can write a prescription. Be smart be aware. This pharmacy is FANTASTIC! They are professional and will help you understand and educate as needed. I had an order which my doctor forgot to prescribe in a pump, and gave me syringes. I wish all pharmacies were as courteous and prompt as this one. I have been doing business with them for a year now for my bioidentical hormones and other alternative care drugs perscribed and have found them to be very professional. On top of that, they are open on Saturdays and will even mail your perscription to you for a nominal postal fee. The previous reviewer made it sound like they were hard to find, but they aren't. University Compounding Pharmacy is a bit of a drive for me, but I wouldn't get my meds anywhere else! They offer excellent customer service and affordable prices.
