I came to pick up a prescription, and it couldn't have been easier. No wait! Just had to provide my address and phone number. I was here the day after Christmas around 11 o'clock and nobody was in here. I was hoping to find some 50% off Christmas goodies, but failed. I did buy two small packs of Walkers shortbread stars, so it wasn't a total bummer of a visit.

It takes days to get simple refills. Poor or no communication. Closed down for lunch.read more

I'm so glad I went in there. While browsing the aisles quickly I was surprised at the diversity of items that they offered! They had jewelry, scarves, all sorts of miscellany. The best part of this drug store was definitely the candy aisle. So much candy. SOOOO MUCH CANDY! I could have easily spent more than 30 minutes looking through this store and all its products, but I didn't want my pizza to get cold. I definitely plan on going back to get some more delicious candy!

The service here is exceptional and I always choose it over the large chain competitors. For comparison, after leaving urgent care I mistakenly went to a chain across the street and was told it would be a two-hour wait for an antibiotic. I went to Sav-On and was in and out in less than 10 minutes (which is a way better alternative with a sick kid).

I thought it was a little weird but approved them moving my prescriptions from another pharmacy. Weeks went by with no courtesy call to let me know if everything was moved over and ok. So I called asking about getting an important prescription refilled and was told that I couldn't because my insurance was canceled. I explained that I get this one covered by a state program and that it's supposed to be free. I felt like I was talking to a wall. I told her that I just wasn't feeling comfortable with the way things were going and asked to have everything sent back to the original pharmacy. She said that she couldn't do it and I needed to have them contact her. Called the original one immediately and explained the situation and was relieved that they would get everything back and that I could get my refill as soon as possible. I'm really disappointed that this didn't work out especially because of the glowing review and referral my caseworker gave.

I have called CVS customer service and the executive pharmacist. Steven returned my call and said they were going to escalate it. I will be without medication starting tomorrow. I will no longer use this Pharmacy. I will find a mom and Pop local pharmacy and start using them for my medication. When a pharmacist tells you that policy supersedes law, there is a legal issue. According to the law, I can pay cash for my prescriptions.

This review is just for the LabCorp part of Walgreens. I needed to get a COVID antibody test done…read morefor part of a Crohn's/IBD study I'm in, and it could only be done at a LabCorp center. The two closest ones nearest me were this one, inside a Walgreens, and one in Farmington Hills, so since this one was only about 20-minutes away from me, I opted for it. I made an appointment for the test online, and when you arrive, there are kiosks (on the right-side of the store, once you walk in) where you check in. You will need your driver's license, as the kiosk scans it to gather your information. Someone will call your name, and then take you into the LabCorp area, which was like a mini doctor's office area and something you'd never guess was behind the doors! I didn't get the name of my technician but it only took her one poke to get my blood, which is pretty good in my book; I get bloodwork done frequently and sometimes it takes two or even three pokes. She told me 2-3 days for the results, but UNC has told me 2-4 weeks; when I asked UNC about it, they said normally the lab would give you the results in 2-3 days, but the 2-4 weeks is because they ship it to LabCorp in California and there are a few other steps that need to happen first before I can get the results. I got the test because I want to know if I have COVID-19 antibodies (I have been vaccinated, but am on immunosuppressants), but most people get it to see if they've ever been infected with COVID, I believe.

They treated me with incredible disrespect for calling around to get my prescription filled when I couldn't get them filled at my normal pharmacy or any of the dozens of other pharmacies I had called. He then proceeded to tell me the other pharmacies were lying to me and that they all do have the medication in stock but for some reason won't fill it for me anyway. I'm familiar with the laws for controlled substances, and I know the pharmacist at Medindex is the one who was lying to me. I also know about the national shortage of ADHD meds because it has made the news. I don't understand why I was treated this way. They filled filled the prescription, but told me not to come back.
