took four pieces of clothing to this cleaners. My favorite jacket came back with a stain on it. One of my outfits the belt had been ripped off of it. The third outfit looked like someone had slept in it. I immediately took pictures and contacted this location. I spoke with Tina who was Manager on duty. She kept insisting that I bring the items back to the location. I explained that I lived a far distance plus they had already ruined two of the items and I did not want to risk any further damage being done. I requested a refund only on the dry cleaning. I did not request to have the damaged items replaced. She said she would have to reach out to her district manager. Nine days went by with no response after I sent her the photos of each item. I then reached out again and was told that I needed to bring the items back to let them..."redo" them. I noted that they were already damaged. I declined. I would not use this cleaners again even if it was for free. read more

My first time to Medlin-Davis won't be my last time! I brought them a 33 year old, very yellow and stained wedding dress to clean. I really just wanted the stains out so that I could have the dress re-purposed and make something from it for my daughter's future wedding - I had no expectations that it would come back to me "perfect", just wanted it cleaned... Well, the dress came back looking like it did 33 years ago!! So now my problem is, to decide if I have the heart to take scissors to it and surprise my daughter with a pillow and/or bag for her big day, or see if I can convince her to wear the dress herself!! Thanks to Minnie for understanding my issue, making sure the dress was well cared for and came out beautiful, and to do it all quickly and at a affordable price!! I AM DEFINITELY FUSSY ABOUT MY CLOTHES. Medlin-Davis continues to earn excellent kudos because of two immutable denominators over the course of EIGHT YEARS: SERVICE and PROFESSIONALISM. I know that I can trust this business to handle our clothing like it was pulled from their own closet -- and in this day & age that's a pretty big deal!! We'd tried the full gamut of dry cleaners: the "Zip-A-Dee-Do-Dah" ones routinely messed up; the "El Cheapo" ones wound up wrecking something and not taking ownership of it; and other pickup & delivery services returned our clothes looking like someone sat on them. We have pickup & delivery on Monday and Thursday (Blake has shown up on bad weather days when I wasn't willing to leave the house) -- which is EXCELLENT TURNAROUND TIME HOME DELIVERED -- and my blouses, suits, sweaters, capes, coats, scarves, etc. all come out looking new and my husband's suits, blazers, leather coat, lightly starched shirts and pants are cleaned and pressed perfectly -- and whatever else I throw at them comes out perfect. If something does come up -- which is rare (get your smelling salts ready): David, THE OWNER FOLLOWS UP!! They even have a full-time SEAMSTRESS on hand and she is AMAZING!! If you're sick&tired of: A) walking around in clothes that look like you ironed them after you paid someone else to do it; B) wasting your free time unraveling someone else's totally avoidable mess; C) driving in traffic; and/or D) waiting on line -- SIGN UP for pickup & delivery with these folks: YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!! read more

This is a great Cleaners! My husband started a new job and he has to wear suits and button downs and we have tried many cleaners since he started and some newly found friends recommended Medlin! All the girls up front are always extremely nice and fun to talk with and his clothes come back perfectly pressed! No more looking like the shaggy new guy in the office! Horrible experience! I dropped my shorts off to get hemmed. I dropped them off and they said it would be a week (which was fine). I waited about a month before I went back because it's fall and I wasn't going to wear the shorts anytime soon. So a month later, I go in to pick up my shorts and they weren't ready! So I left them and came back TWO more weeks later and they STILL weren't done! They had no clue why they hadn't gotten altered yet. Very bad experience! read more

This place sucks. I left a jacket there for specialty cleaning and they ruined it, sent it out again, and after two months seem to have lost it. The customer service is awful and when I spoke to the owner David Makepeace, he never followed up. I would not go there if I were you, or to any of the locations since they all work together. read more

AWFUL- Do NOT take your comforter here. I took my new comforter to Medlin Davis Wakefield to have it professionally cleaned . I have only had the comforter for 3 months and it had never been washed before or cleaned anywhere else. When I picked it up they gave it to me in a bag with a big hole in it which was not a huge deal but when I got it home and took it out of the bag it smelled RANK. Like a stinky rotten feet smell, and then when I put the comforter on my bed in hopes that it would air out I noticed that it was extremely LUMPY and had some stitches in it that were not there before. I called the manager who had me bring it back in, and leave it with her. She said she would have the owner look at it and that she would call me the next day. 3 days later she called and she told me they would fix it. I'm not sure how something like that can be fixed. You can't un-do a tear and rip that was stitched up. I assumed they would reimburse me for the ruined comforter and asked her if she could look in to that possibility. She was going to call me back but I never got a call back this time. Instead I got an email saying that my comforter was ready to be picked up again. So basically I paid $33.00 to have my comforter ruined and they never resolved the problem. read more
