I was looking for Ketamine Assisted Therapy for my treatment-resistant depression & bipolarity…read more Their bedside manner, specifically the anesthesiologist, is bordering on horrible. Their response time is great- Oli, the ketamine-coach, is usually available via phone and is patient and kind. My main problem: The medical staff did not look for ongoing verbal consent, they didn't explain what was happening during my intake and started putting "vitamins" in my bloodstream without explaining consulting/asking for consent. If you engage with them, be specific about your needs for ongoing verbal consent, clear medical explanations, and a bedside manner that leads to feeling respected. The MD (anesthesiologist) dismissed my concerns by saying "it's natural- it's not the medicine, it's natural." When I asked for clarity on the medical meaning of "natural," I was met with frustration and "it's things that are already in your body." Again- that's not a medical response- it's dismissive. Oli, the person in charge of guiding/coaching me through the experience, admitted that the anesthesiologist is a great doctor but lacks a good bedside manner. I was baffled- why would you allow that with severely depressed folks? Everything is paid out of pocket, which means that if they start any kind of IV bag (with or without telling you?) you are on the hook for the dollars. If you are looking for Ketamine treatments with psychotherapy, that is NOT the main thing this place offers. They do offer a legal space for therapists to come in and assist clients in a Ketamine session. This was not clear to me until I carefully read and signed their paperwork before my first on-site visit. They offer COACHING to accompany ketamine experiences. The coaches are NOT THERAPISTS OR PSYCHIATRISTS. If you are suffering, I'm sorry, mental illness is so debilitating. If you use CIT, make sure you explain your needs for information and consent as things are being done to you. READ their disclaimers. Also, they don't have encryption, so anything medical you share will not be protected by encryption. Again, I didn't find this out until I read the proverbial fine print.

It's hard to put into words how profoundly the team at CIT has positively impacted my life. While I…read morehave had previous ketamine treatments, the experience with CIT had been the most complete, compassionate, effective, and comfortable. Treatments can often stretch the limits of your comfort, and can bring up heavy feelings as you integrate your experiences and memories. You will be prepped ahead of time, and debriefed after/between sessions. The rooms are very comfortable, and you can utilize the level of stimulation (music, lights, etc) to your liking. I've only worked with Dr. Danforth as the administering physician, who is thoughtful and collaborative with dosing and care plans. I have spoken to Dr. Tibble at length on the phone, who provided me with a ton of information about their services and process. Joyce handles the scheduling and payments (and sometimes intake/IV starts), and is very responsive, kind, and skilled. The entire team exudes warmth. I recommend them highly to anyone who is considering ketamine treatment. I have been to both the Marin and Vacaville clinics, and both are great. While the entire team is fantastic, I have to give a special shout out to Oli, one of the guides. Oli has been by my side during each treatment, holding space, grounding me, asking gentle but pointed questions, and listening and reflecting with the deepest compassion and non-judgment. I can say with certainty that my treatments would not have been as effective without this guidance and support, though the ketamine itself does some pretty miraculous work (and some people prefer a solo journey). He is thoughtful, warm, and you get the sense that he truly cares about your well-being and future. I am incredibly grateful for his presence. Book a call to learn more - they are more than willing to provide you with extensive information and answer any of your questions.

We lost my father yesterday at this hospital. In the ED department Erica was our savior, and all…read morethe staff around her, I didn't get all the names, but they were all amazing. I could have do e without the doctors, they were useless and just walked around like gods and acted like they were in charge and knew what they were doing. They did not. It was very apparent. When my father was transferred to the ICU all family were invited in, we are had accepted and new it was our final hours. This is where Carlee stepped in, she was the angel we needed. She was our nurse and handled the whole process with love in her heart and actions. Again the doctors up there came around talking in circles and I had to correct them on the events of the day because they were just making things up and acting like they knew. Treating us like idiots. All the doctors I had an interaction with could have never shown there faces or talked in circles and just not been there and they would have never been missed. They were useless. The staff on that floor, besides the doctors, were angels and let us have our last hours with him be what we needed to let him go peacefully. Language barriers beside, the bedside manners of these doctors is ridiculous, they know nothing of "care" without Carlee, Erica and surrounding staff, that place would be abandoned. As my Father was passing and after he passed Erica came up stairs to see how he was. She was human, and compassionate. After he passed and we had our time, there were hugs and tears on both sides. The Doctors, absent. I enjoyed that, I am afraid I would have shared my feelings with them in a bad way. I plan on going back and thanking the staff that did there job as soon as I can do it without losing it. Thank you Erica and Carlee and God bless you and staff for doing what you do. My father's name was Michael McKinley Kent, my name is Dale McKinley Kent.

I was instructed by my…read moretreatment team to go here through a certain means of transportation and I just seem to be bearing the brunt of negativity for just sort of doing what I was told. Somehow I get the vibe that the staff here might be suspecting that I might be some undercover person investigating the facility for some reason. The lady whom I spoke with for check in was a real b**ch and I hope she gets what's coming to her. I do get this type of "observantly evil" mannerisms from alot of the staff here as something seems different this time around from the last time I was here. Alot of folks here seem to be more on edge than last time so I think I should probably try another hospital from this. I mean, I could understand how it got some positive reviews as I do not mean every single staff member, but this experience was severely odd as I have never really been hit with this before. I wonder what exactly could have changed.

I am writing this review to share my deeply troubling experience at Archway Recovery. Yesterday,…read morethe first day of Ramadan, I was a patient at this facility in Fairfield ca, seeking help for my recovery. During my time there, I encountered behavior that I found not only disrespectful but discriminatory. The owner's son, J.P., who is also a counselor at the facility, made several offensive comments that I believe should be addressed. He said that "Archway Recovery comes before any religion, including Islam," making it clear that he held a disregard for people of faith and demonstrated an unsettling lack of respect for religious practices. What was even more disheartening was witnessing an employee, who was present at the time, appear visibly uncomfortable and hesitant to speak out about these comments. It was clear that she feared for her job, as she was unable to either confirm or deny the statements due to the risk of repercussions. Watching someone be forced into silence due to fear in a place that's supposed to foster healing and support was deeply upsetting. Today, I decided to share my experience with other patients, hoping to find some understanding and solidarity. That's when J.P. confronted me and tried to deny that he had ever made those discriminatory comments. In fact, he went so far as to call me a liar when I confronted him about what had been said. This left me in utter shock and disbelief. I tried to ask the witness--someone who works there--if she could corroborate my account, but once again, she was too afraid to speak up due to the pressure of her job. It was painfully clear that there was a culture of fear and intimidation at Archway Recovery, which only made the situation worse. What frustrates me even more is that J.P.'s actions were not only hurtful but also led to me being pushed out of the program. After all of this, he forced me to leave the recovery program, labeling me as a liar in front of all peers when he is the only liar, when all I was trying to do was find help and healing for myself. Upon asking him several times if I was lying he said no which makes no sense . The cameras have voice recognition but that will be never brought up unless subpoenaed. His behavior was not only disrespectful but counterproductive to the very purpose of the facility, which is to help individuals in recovery. I'd also like to mention that this incident took place after I had fasted all day during Ramadan and made a simple request to order a pizza to break my fast. The comment about "Archway coming before any religion" felt especially offensive in this context, as it dismissed my faith and the very real struggles I was facing as a person trying to heal. The 12-Step Program, which is central to AA, speaks about finding strength through a Higher Power, but J.D.'s actions seemed to reject this fundamental principle in favor of promoting his own biased views. I'm deeply disappointed that a facility meant to offer support and recovery could foster such an environment of discrimination, fear, and intimidation. I want to be clear that this experience has left me with no choice but to file a formal complaint with the Director of Operations, as I believe that Archway Recovery should be held accountable for the actions of their staff, particularly someone in a leadership position like J.P. This is not just about me--it's about ensuring that other patients are not subjected to the same treatment and that they feel safe, respected, and supported in their recovery journey. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Archway Recovery to anyone after this experience. The lack of respect for diversity, faith, and basic human decency is appalling. I sincerely hope that the management of this facility takes appropriate action to address these issues, but I will not be returning, and I will be sharing my story with others to ensure they are aware of the potential harm they might face. He then had the nerves to tell my father , who came to pick me up ) that no employee liked me ( when in fact I was well liked by everyone ) and that I'm welcome to come back and apply to start all over again, what a joke .

I came into this program at my rock bottom. My family found Align and I was honestly scared to even consider detox let alone a 30 day program. As soon as I entered the doors they welcomed me with open arms. The staff which consist of nurses and counselors are comforting and just genuinely want you to get better. I was honestly so scared to commit but I'm so glad I did. Stella is a wonderful cook and she cooks with her heart. The rooms are spacious and the whole build is top notch clean.
