Some of them were downright rude. None of them look like they want to be there. It shows in the effort they put in to patient care. Big ol' cooler/bucket of ice in the hallway? Melted to water. Do you know how long it takes ice to melt to water in an insulated container like that? They don't answer the phones. They spend too much time on their own cell phones. I'm scared for the health and safety of anyone there. Please please PLEASE find another facility for your loved ones. This one just misses the mark on so many levels.

Our family is exhausted from having to be there to watch over her to make sure she is taken care of and even with us being there the staff doesn't answer call bells, puts off changing her for hour or more from changing soiled depends. They serve hotdogs and bologna sandwiches. So unhealthy. She put on 10 pounds in one week which went unnoticed until I brought it to their attention and she is now dealing with heart failure. Unfortunately, we have not been able to find another facility that accepts peritoneal dialysis patients.

I was transferred to Autumn Lake Healthcare 313 Hospital Drive Glen Burnie Maryland for…read morerehabilitation and when I enter in the door I seen first hand the place was dirty and when I went pass the cafeteria it was very overwhelming crowded and the place was hot and I had a hard time breathing,the patients were walking in the hallway like they were lost, when we were told what room I was going to I noticed the bed was unmade and the bed looked like it was 10 years old with no railings and they knew ahead of time that I was a fall risk and the room was small and had another patient in there,there was a small broken cabinet next to the bed,we waited for someone to greet us but they never did so transportation left me on the bed when I try to adjust the bed it was broken but when I try to adjust myself I lost balance and fell out of bed,I looked for a call bell but there was none so I was on the ground for a while before 2 guys came in and picked me up like I was a bag of potatoes and threw me in the bed,then they came back in and try to force a tarp under me and I told them to leave me alone but they continued to force this tarp under me and I started to yell for help and they closed the door and grabbed my arms and started to punch me in the face and chest and then they got 2 nurses to hold my legs down,at that time I ask them to call 911 and shortly after the police and ambulance came and I made a police report and the ambulance took me to the Hospital where I stayed for more then a month, where they are trying to control the pain ,I stayed at a level 8 out of 10, physical therapy is having a hard time working with me because I can hardly move and I am in a wheelchair because I'm weak at base line and I don't think I will be able to use my wheelchair,so a guy name Calvin came to talk to me and took a report and I told him about my belongings and he said he will look for them and when he came back he had a small portion and he said he will go back and look for more of my stuff and he came back but the next day I looked at my stuff and notice that my clothes and a few personal stuff was still missing and he said he will look for the rest and told me if he can't find them that he will make things right but he never came back,he also called my ex-wife and she also told him about my missing belongings,she was an emergency contact and should have never been called, Calvin told me that the story of what happen was different from what I told him and his employees of course it will be different they want to keep there jobs and not be charged with an assault , Calvin called me and told me we should go are separate way but that's not going to happen, when I get better I will be making additional charges and will be calling the state of Maryland to report the abuse and to have them investigated,the Hospital is ready to discharge me and Autumn Lake Healthcare refused to take me back so I been beat up and had my stuff stolen and now there making me homeless what else can they do to me,I'm not saying this because I want some kind of settlement because I'm not that kind of person,I just want people to know about them,so please stay clear of this place no one should ever have to go through this, mentally and physically they hurt me.

The social services employee refuses to help me with medical assistance to pay for my stay her, and admitted to not knowing how to do it. When I found out I was receiving a roommate, I went to the head of admissions, who admitted that since my Medicare stopped paying for me they were moving this patient into my room although there are still rooms that are empty here. I gave 3 stars only because there are some really good nurses and aids here and the food is good. I find that this place is only about the money. The admissions person stated out right that this is a business. I thought it was a service. I won't recomme ,.
