I so wanted to report this as a real find. According to the other reviews, I was more than willing to overlook the inoperative air conditioning on a monstrously hot day. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, but the food, unfortunately, did not inspire. The fresh spring rolls were fishy tasting with the shrimp and, while the stir-fried vegetables were perfectly cooked, the flavor of the sauce was off and the chicken seemed to lack freshness in both the chicken and vegetables and in the laab gai. Perhaps this is too narrow a sampling, but we are reporting what we experienced. read more

I took my blind brother to the Olin Teague VA Hospital and a Nurse recommended Mee Mee's for lunch. We found a gem. The place was nicely decorated and looked like what you'd expect a place to look like that has Great Pad Thai & Tom Ka Ga. Tom Yum is always welcome. The Vegetable Egg Rolls and Spring Rolls were perfection. The service was quick and friendly. We waited for nothing. We will be back the next time we pass this way. I was craving Thai food today, so I called in some Pad Woon Sen to go, with extra veggies, no meat, and medium spice. I received my order within the promised time frame. Came here around noon lunch time, seated ourselves as you can choose your own seating, and was greeted with drinks in just a few minutes after sitting down. They brought out a free egg roll for each of us with their delicious sweet and sour dipping sauce, and that was really great. We shared the appetizer egg rolls, which came out very fast and with a bigger sized bowl of that delicious sweet and sour sauce, the garlic pepper chicken (medium spice), and the broccoli with beef (mild spice). Both dishes weren't very spicy, so we ended up adding more spice to it with their side spice dish. It also came with a side of white rice for each of the entrees. The chili paste was the best option rather than the sriracha sauce. It was a cool place inside, looked like a traditional Thai restaurant rather than a fancy over-priced restaurant. The service was really good, very attentive, and always making sure to check on us. Next time we'll definitely try something new again and a higher spice level, along with their mango fried rice. read more

Fantastic lunch spot. It is a very fair price for great quality. I really enjoyed the chicken pad Thai. The noodles were cooked perfect and the peanut sauce was tasty. Massive portion, especially for the price point. The service is very good. I like my Thai food as spicy as possible, but I was cautioned to start a bit lower than the hottest. She ordered the kids pad Thai and loved just the right mixture of sauce and noodles. My picky kids don't like spring rolls, but they devoured the cabbage and chicken ones brought to our table. This first time I went to Mee Mees I was so impressed! Today I ordered theu Grub Hub and was SO DISAPPOINTED I ordered the Laarb, which I LOVE from child hood; now I know everyone makes it differently but I've NEVER had it as a saucy stir fry. It was really lemony and NOT chopped very fine as I'm used to. It was basically just a stir fry. I also ordered beef fried rice for my daughter and she did NOT like it. She gets fried rice WHEREVER she goes so she knows her fried rice and is very forgiving; I asked her what was wrong with it and she couldn't even describe what it was that bothered her about it!!! I'm afraid to taste the garlic veg I ordered!!! Did ya'll change cooks??? I'm supposed to go back there with my client who loved ya'll the first time we went there before - I'm afraid to go back!!!
