The new…read moreoffice is small and I went twice this week and the office looked to be in serious need of cleaning. Dirty floors, space is super cramped now and receptionists have awful attitudes. On top of that they are understaffed. I tried to follow up after my visit with my doctor on Tuesday, but instead had to come in today (Thursday) so that I could get attended / a reply to my questions. I liked Dr.Hinson and Dr. Fraser but I will be looking for new doctors in nicer locations. I understand not everybody has this privilege but for those who do I'd recommend going elsewhere. I've seen the amount my insurance gets billed (a pretty penny) and it doesn't make sense for all the money that I'm assuming gets raked in, for this business to be in such a small, dirty, understaffed place. I unfortunately did not get a chance to snap pictures but if you don't believe me go check for yourself and if it's been resolved by the time you get there then I guess that's a good thing. To make matters worse, I noticed that people with fair skin mysteriously had shorter wait times than people with darker skin. A few days ago, I went here for a follow up treatment (a small filling). I'm not sure if it was because I complained or if it was merely a coincidence, but I only waited 15 minutes (as opposed to an hour and 45 minutes the first time I came here). My dentist and I were the same age (32). In fact, most, if not all of the dentists at this clinic are just out of dental school. Younger dentists generally lack the acumen of more seasoned dentists. Fortunately, my dentist was an exception to the rule. He did an excellent job. In addition, I enjoyed being able to relate to him. I still prefer a private dentist over a clinic, but beggars can't be choosers. I recommend this clinic if you're short on cash and need a decent cleaning.

It took her 7 weeks I could have died she did not care and I told her this is why we do not trust you all so call Oath takers to provide services but you come in our communities because you can not work in yours. Just to get your commission on medication prescriptions. No good imposter in a white gown. I was too upset and told her so. HOW DARE YOU! Is why you have to do your own self care and follow up or five opinions. DANG SHAME in our communities doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but getting paid to write scripts literally. Per insurance, his office produced documentation for these false claims. As a result insurance took his side because it looked like a he said she said battle and he stiffed me with a $400 bill. Furthermore, insurance and my benefits department were virtually unable to reach his office to have the claims updated. His office refused to change the claims to reflect actual service for a referral. If you've been stiffed the same way, please write reviews and report him. I think backdating documentation prevented him from getting his license investigated for fraud.

ACPNY should not have doctors seeing patients if they are not sure how things properly work and even more so when they don't know how to communicate or treat patients. And after speaking with him on the phone today I feel even more insulted and 5 times more concerned about my health than before meeting with him. I will be seeking a new Primary Care doctor and I suggest anyone seeing this so called doctor look for a doctor that won't make you feel like your just visiting a factory. And please note I called customer service 2 times to speak with someone regarding my concerns I even walked in to speak with a supervisor and no one has gotten back to me. I get sent back to the waiting area to wait to be called in for blood work. After my blood work is finished I ask about the covid test and she tells me they don't do the tests there. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Last but not least, even though the prescriptions I needed were pretty basic things I've been on for years, I was required to come in for a follow up to review the blood work before he would fill them for me. The waiting room was empty this time, although the PA was talking with someone with the door open, both of them with masks pulled down. I don't recall if this happened the first time or not, but Dr. Torres was unable to keep his mask above his nose. As he spoke, it kept sliding down and he'd pull it back up. This happened at least six times in a ten minute time frame. This is a doctor, almost a year into a pandemic, and we still don't know how to wear masks that fit correctly??? Reception also left the enclosed area with mask on her chin to throw out her Dunkin' Donuts garbage in the patient waiting area. Highly doubt there's not a trash can under the front desk. Never returning to this office.
