    Wrangler Breakfast
    Rick V.

In town over night after 40 years mainly to see the hotel and museum. This cafe is located in the historic Meeker Hotel, this is a real cowboy cafe. In for breakfast, I ordered the Wrangler-- biscuit and gravy with 2 eggs and bacon $ 8. Side of hash browns 2.50. Coffee or hot tea $ 1.50. Good. My Wife ordered French Toast $ 4, side of cream cheese $ .25 and bacon $ 2.50. Also good. BACK for DINNER--- Rib Eye steak , 16 oz, 18.95. Good. Country Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and vegetable medley $ 11.95. Large dinner salad $ 4.50. Good. Service was very good. Highly recommend.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, overwhelming food (in the good sense). Had one of the best patty melts I've ever had here, but the burger I had the previous evening wasn't too bad either. Soup was a bit boring, but overall, the best place in town for hearty friendly eating. They even had a salad menu, but I wasn't in Meeker for what I can get here in the Bay Area :-).

I ordered the French dip- it was very good!

No WiFi here. Good food in a small location downtown. But reports of "free wifi" are inaccurate.

The cafe has the best bacon. Whether it's on the Cobb salad or BLT, it's worth a trip.

Breakfast all day and at a great price! Don't pass up a green chili smothered burrito! Yum! Their French toast is also a family favorite!

I know it's not fast food so we understood there would be a wait. It was busy and we sat outside with our drinks. My husband went to get a refill and I saw a lot of people leaving so I texted him at 1:20 suggesting we move inside. We got settled in new seats. At probably 1:40 someone said they know our order is next, confirmed an item we ordered and said "we didn't lose your ticket. The next time someone came by I asked for an update and she said there's just one order ahead of ours - she apologized and said someone called out. I said we needed to get back on the road so we will just take whatever is ready. She handed me three of four boxes of food at 1:50. We ate and were out the door at 2:05. An hour wait for food. Not my favorite dining experience. The spicy tacos weren't spicy. The grilled cheese was cold and only the bread had been cooked - the cheese inside was gummy and unappealing. Other than the casual "sorry" from the cashier no one came by even when one of the owners came upstairs to talk to another customer. We were practically permanent fixtures in their dining room waiting for food. I'm sure it's a great place and we were just there at an "off-time". It has very affordable prices and lots of customers coming and going - so clearly it's very popular. If you're on the road and looking for a quick bite this isn't the place. My kids genuinely thought they'd have eaten food faster if they just waited for Rifle and they're not wrong.

Not to mention, freshly bottled juices and coffee products are what you can get as well. What we got were... -Veggie Hummus sandwich ($14) -Pineapple Ginger juice (16oz; $7) -Fruit Danish (raspberry and mango; $7, also a good size) The inside is basic and yet very clean with some tables/chairs to sit should you want to dine in. Whereas we were very much pleased with the quality of everything we got, the service was okayiish. The young lady who was manning the front wasn't welcoming. Two other young ladies standing behind her were excessively and loudly chitchatting which was distracting. Creating a welcoming environment and atmosphere for a business to be successful is important. In that regard, they can refine their efforts in the very aspect. Because of that, I am hesitant to give them the perfect 5-star review. Well, overall, this is a good place to stop for a little bite to eat. Its convenient location, affordable prices, quality food and clean dining facilities, it's a nice place to know when in town next time.

If you are in the area, stop reading this and go get yourself these amazing doughnuts! They are absolutely delicious. My favorite was the maple bacon bar. I love a good maple doughnut. The blueberry fritter and strawberry glazed sprinkle were also scrumptious. The doughnuts themselves are soft and full of flavor. The staff here is so nice and friendly. I loved the chill cozy vibe of this location. I definitely recommend coming early, this place was pretty busy. The breakfast sandwiches also looked amazing. I can't wait to try them and try some more doughnuts! With all the options to pick from, you can definitely find something you're gonna love! Anytime I'm in the area, I will be stopping by!

First - these doughnuts are massive. We ordered four of various types and snacked on them for days, lol. They're also flakey, which surprised me. It's a different taste and not my favorite, but I'm a massive cake donut fan, so this is likely why. What I did love was their breakfast sandwiches. We ordered a few of these as well, along with OJ and milk. These guys were outstanding. This cake donut girl will return just for these! We stopped by on a Monday morning and the line moved quickly with staff taking orders at the counter and with us, in line. While they were super friendly, they kept us laughing but I did feel a bit rushed. To be fair though, there were so many flavors to choose from and none were labeled, so it took me a minute, hahaha. They were happy to wait but with lots of folks in line behind us, it was just me feeling pressured. Def look at the menu before going in, if it's your first time. We sat outside and enjoyed the sugar rush before setting out to start the weeks. Man, that sandwich was good. The coffee was amazing too.
