Raspberry empanada
Lily G.

I'm not usually into pastries, but walking by this place with my dog on an idle Tuesday morning, I was compelled to step in. The flakiest damn empanadas ever! I got one raspberry & one pineapple, and both were heavenly. Grab a napkin or a plate because you'll want to capture and devour all the crumbs!

Me and my coffee and the wrapper that use to house the greatest cream cheese pastry I've ever had!!!

We visited Deja Brew last weekend on our girls trip. We always love trying local coffee shops, and…read morethis one was first on our list. It actually ended up being the only coffee shop we visited because we loved it so much. The staff were amazing and so helpful when choosing our drinks. The Golden Goddess with oat milk was sooo creamy and delicious. I also really enjoyed the raspberry truffle latte. Everything was so good. Sadly, we didn't try the breakfast, which I am regretting because it looked so good. The place itself is super cute. They have a little outdoor patio where you can sit and enjoy your coffee, water bowls for the doggos, and even a cute display of pups in the window. The whole place felt so cozy and quaint. I will definitely be back for coffee whenever I'm in Glenwood Springs.

It's conveniently located with its own parking lot and is attached to an adorable ice cream shop, making it a fun stop whether you're looking for coffee or a sweet treat. They offer a large menu with plenty of flavor options, so there's something for everyone. The service was quick, and ordering at the counter was easy and efficient. If you're in the area and looking for a good cup of coffee without the downtown crowds, Deja Brew is definitely worth a stop!

Coming from Craig kids were hungry and wanted lunch in Meeker and not have to wait for Rifle. We…read moreordered lunch at the counter at 12:50. I know it's not fast food so we understood there would be a wait. It was busy and we sat outside with our drinks. My husband went to get a refill and I saw a lot of people leaving so I texted him at 1:20 suggesting we move inside. We got settled in new seats. At probably 1:40 someone said they know our order is next, confirmed an item we ordered and said "we didn't lose your ticket. The next time someone came by I asked for an update and she said there's just one order ahead of ours - she apologized and said someone called out. I said we needed to get back on the road so we will just take whatever is ready. She handed me three of four boxes of food at 1:50. We ate and were out the door at 2:05. An hour wait for food. Not my favorite dining experience. The spicy tacos weren't spicy. The grilled cheese was cold and only the bread had been cooked - the cheese inside was gummy and unappealing. Other than the casual "sorry" from the cashier no one came by even when one of the owners came upstairs to talk to another customer. We were practically permanent fixtures in their dining room waiting for food. I'm sure it's a great place and we were just there at an "off-time". It has very affordable prices and lots of customers coming and going - so clearly it's very popular. If you're on the road and looking for a quick bite this isn't the place. My kids genuinely thought they'd have eaten food faster if they just waited for Rifle and they're not wrong.

Got the daily special. Garlic butter bacon burger fries and a drink $15. Well worth the money…read more Great burger Great service.
