Our condo was beautifully done by a decorator who worked with us when we purchased it unfinished (that is hard to do!). So, with that, we needed help in getting all personal belongings from our condo packed up and sent to our NH residence. Imagine Home Organization was right there for us every step of the way. The project went off without a hitch and we are happily at home in NH surrounded by ALL of the things that matter to us. Imagine's personnel were all very knowledgeable and very pleasant -- and eager to do a good job for us. They did, and I would definitely use their services again if we had the need. I found Universal Cleaning Services (UCS) through an on-line search, and was very impressed by their great reviews. UCS is licensed & insured, and they are a family-owned and operated company. I hired them to do a deep cleaning of my condo, and it took the two of them a little over two hours to get everything done. They were just mopping the floors when I got back, and everything looked fantastic! Extremely reasonable prices too. Manny was polite and professional. I was given a price which was lower than the other places I researched and a showtime of 10 am for the scheduled cleaning. Today was the day of the cleaning and overall it wasnt a bad experience but I am slightly frustrated with some of the service. There was a mix up with the start time therefore the cleaners arrived to the apartment complex at 0915 which would have been great if I was living there but I've already moved into a hotel. No biggie...they returned and explained the mix up. When making the appointment I was told it would take 3-4 hours to complete the job (1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment) I left the apartment around 10:30 am and it's now 4:02 pm as I'm typing this. I arrived back at the apartment complex around 2:50 pm because it had been some time and I'd heard nothing. When I walked in, the sweet lady from this morning was waiting. She had completed everything except vacuuming because the nice gentleman who was supposed to assist her took off to another location with the vacuum. I've been sitting inside my apartment well over an hour waiting. Not sure if I was charged for one or two cleaners but will be finding out because she's the only one here. She did a good job but not sure it was worth $180 for one person plus the $20 tip I gave (prepaid with credit card). It's now 4:37 pm. The vacuum cleaner arrived finally. I understand hiccups happen but I'm frustrated with the timeline and if I was charged for 2 cleaners. Lesson learned...guess I'll fit cleaning time into my schedule next time...:)
