With that being said, it's been almost two years since I've had my hair trimmed. I've been eyeing this business for some time (like the whole time I haven't had my hair cut). I decided to finally give it a shot because the last time no new clients were being accepted this time around, it was, though. I reached out through Yelp and received a text very quickly from Ashley. We had such an amazing first chat or consultation. I sent her pictures of my hair so she could see the length and style. I never really know whether to say my hair is wavy or curly. She recommended a curl creme via text. I went and purchased yesterday, so we will see how that goes. But when I finally got to meet her, AMAZING . I asked if I could bring a friend who's like a sister to me and she agreed. Ashley is such an amazingg soul, so easy to talk too..and man her scalp massage is OUT OF THIS WORLD. I was sooo relaxed after that she has such amazing hands. I waited til after my blowout to leave a review. I just love it. The curls I have are more defined, and you can just tell she loves what she does. I'll be referring anyone and everyone who I hear needs a haircut.

Cuts: Although my hair is not overly complicated to cut - it can be a little feisty, naturally curly, not necessarily thick but I have a lot of it. I like to keep my hair short and stylist. She has never let me down, she listens to what I want and has performed miracles with her scissors. She offers suggestions on how to better care for my locks without trying to push products. She never judges (or at least not out loud) and I always feel comfortable asking her questions. Color: She is an absolutely INCREDIBLE colorist. She listens, takes the time to understand what you want, and makes it happen. I have aging hair - it's graying in all the wrong places - and she has a special flair for making it look healthy and vibrant. She never does more then I can maintain and manage and will actually color it for longevity rather than trying to get me to come back every couple of weeks. I have two teenage girls that love to "self color" - the horror! - and she has fixed it more than once. No judgment, just professionalism and gets them right back on track. I really can't say enough good things about Megan - if you want crazy complicated color that looks stunning -she's your girl. If you want an easy to maintain cut - she's your girl. As a busy working mom and a maxed out calendar, I need a salon with availability on a whim's notice and that is what I found here and with Anthony.
