I asked for a simple dip manicure with a gel cat-eye top. My mistake was not asking for the price beforehand--lesson learned. I showed the nail tech an example and chose a brown cat-eye color, but I ended up with an ugly, dusty rose light pink instead. She only applied one coat of the cat-eye gel, so I'm not sure if that's why the brown never showed up. She also wasn't drying my nails properly, which is why my pinky nail is messed up in the photo. I even asked her if the color was brown, and she said yes. The whole appointment felt rushed, and the quality really wasn't great. The best part..... I was charged $85 for this. Update from response from owner: when I had brought up the nails not being fully dried nail tech said they were and when nail color was brought up I was told it was a brown. read more

After my second nail appointment with Jenny, I received a long text message saying "after your last nail and pedicure appointment with us, we feel that we may not be the best fit for your expecations. We always want every client to leave happy and satisfied, and we don't feel that we're able to provide the experience you're looking for. Because of that, we'll need to cancel your upcoming appointment." In my defense, when Jenny applied the clear top coat of gel on my nails there was a tiny little tiny bump left behind. I asked Jenny if she can please fix it and she did. I then scheduled my next appointment for 8/21/2026. I did not know that Jenny did not want me back in her salon until10 days before my next appointment I recieved the above text message. I am assuming that she got offended that I had asked her to fix a minor issue. When I first met Jenny, she said that she is direct and honest. I feel that she full of lies (BULL SHIT) because if she was why not be upfront with me while I'm there and tell me that she will no longer except me as her client. Why go thought all of the trouble telling me that my next appointment she might have to soak off my nails and start a whole new set. I was fine with her recommation due to the fact that this is what she does for a living. I would like to give this salon a negative 1star review if possible. read more

This is a bright open space, upbeat pop music with plenty of parking. Walked in and had a short wait. Got the Royal Jelly Pedi which was outstanding. The jelly soak was a surprising textural experience along with the sweet rose scent. Very satisfying. The massage and hot stone treatment were nice. I went in today for a scheduled appointment, and this was my third time getting a full service here. Unfortunately, I have to say that the overall experience has become increasingly uncomfortable for me. The two girls working up front have never felt particularly welcoming. There is a noticeable tension in the salon, and during the times I've been there, I haven't really felt relaxed or comfortable. I've also noticed that the staff seem to get scolded by the main person at the front, who often comes across as angry. The overall energy just doesn't feel friendly or welcoming. My biggest issue today, however, was the pricing and lack of clear communication. When I was leaving, I asked how much a fill would cost. One employee told me that a fill for short nails with no design would be $55, while another employee said it would be $50. I found this confusing and expensive because not too long ago I received a full set here for $80, and today my fill ended up costing almost the same as a brand-new full set. What made it even more confusing was seeing another customer receive a brand-new set with a bedazzled design for $95. It honestly left me wondering how the prices are determined. It feels like the price can vary depending on the service or possibly the technician, rather than there being a clear and consistent pricing structure. I really think the salon would benefit from having a clear menu or price list so customers know exactly what they are paying for before the service begins. Having two employees give different prices for the same basic fill is confusing, and customers shouldn't have to question whether the price they are being charged today will be the same the next time they come in. I just moved to the area and was hoping to find a nail salon that I could go to long-term. They definitely know how to do the actual nail work, but unfortunately, the lack of communication, inconsistent pricing, and unwelcoming attitude aren't worth it for me. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously because clear pricing and a welcoming environment would make a big difference. For now, I'll be looking for a new place to go. read more

This place has got to be the most unwelcoming nail salon I've ever been to. I rarely every write negative reviews, but after a few experiences here, I really feel like I need to share my experiences with this spot. I recently moved to San Marcos and was excited to find a nearby nail salon with good reviews. When I first moved, I came here and the two girls at front weren't very welcoming, but I still gave it a shot. Since they did a great job with my nails for the first time, I looked past the initial awkward feeling and decided to give them more chances. The next time I came, it was on a Sunday in the afternoon and upon entering, I was given attitude by the front desk person since they were busy and I did not make a reservation. My apologies - I understand, but there is something called good customer service, and you can be gracious with kindly letting me know, rather than getting upset. I still looked past this, decided to call the next time to make an appointment in the morning, and the person behind the phone said that they have no availability that day. I understood, decided to call the next day, and let the person know extremely early in the morning that I am looking to get a manicure, and she confirmed 5 pm. I completely acknowledge that I am NOT a genius when it comes to nail terminology, but rather than berating someone and giving attitude for not knowing the correct terminology, why not be patient and explain it, so that I understand? I come in at 5 pm and looking forward to hopefully finally getting it right with this nail salon, but unfortunately, the front desk girl (with bad energy yet again) states that the person incorrectly heard that I wanted a pedicure on the phone and she suggested that in the future, I mention that I want acrylic work done, to ensure I get an appointment. No apology, no nothing. On top of that, the girl in the back (with attitude as well) says in Vietnamese to her that I didn't say the correct thing... and I AM FREAKING VIETNAMESE SO I UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING YOU'RE SAYING. I don't care how good this place is with their nails... if I am paying for your service or am an interested customer, how do you expect customers to feel warm, welcomed, and want to come back with this type of treatment? I have read a few other similar reviews and want to echo on all of them because I've never been treated consistently like this. I wanted to like this place so badly, but please, reconsider how you treat others because it will really start negatively affecting your business. read more

I called ahead of time and asked if there was any appointments today for an acrylic nail set the lady then asked me they had an appointment for 2pm so I booked it. I showed up at 150pm they immediately sat me down and said it would be just va few minutes well I waited then the lady comes over at 225pm and asks me what I needed done I showed her and she said no I can't do that something like this takes 2 hours so I tried to tell her I called and made the appointment but she didn't let me finish she just kept saying I'm sorry but I only have time for a French tip which I did not want. I told her that I had been sitting here for over 30 min and no one had told me or asked me what I wanted to prevent this waste of time. I was not a walk in I was an appointment. Total waste of time to be just sitting there just to be turned away. The person who answers the phone needs to learn how to ask more info and not just book without knowing.
