They slows us DCA license and full liability insurance. BCR also gave the detail item estimate and working completing date. They gave good material in reasonable cost, They did not ask extra charge for minor correction. Mr. Waqar Chatta (contractor) is responsible and negotiable manager. They…read morepainted our 5th Avenue apartment for less than $5,000; another quote we received was for over $26,000 for the same job. Bill, Jesse and Aaron completed the job in one week as predicted. The job included painting architectural ceiling mouldings, baseboards and all the doors and trim. Their work is excellent and precise, particularly cutting between the mouldings and the walls - they gifted in this area. Without asking, they painted some walls with four coats, dictated by the lighting, quality of the coverage. They were perfectionistic which I appreciated. Our Interior Designer who is very picky was highly impressed and said they did an outstanding job. Also, each day they cleaned up, vacuumed (yes, vacuumed) and put all the furniture back in place. It reminded me of the Harry Potter movie when Harry took his wand and magically put back together the rampaged room. Also, Pollmann Suran bought all the paint and arrived on time everyday at 9:00 AM. They left on time each afternoon (4:30 PM) so I could move-on with my evening plans. They even helped me re-hang my pictures. Apparently they do a lot of art gallery work and have an eye for hanging pictures. Nice! In addition to the painting and professional skills, they are super nice guys who are artists, really. They tore the brand new carpeting which cost us $900 to have it repaired. They also slopped the paint everywhere and washed their dirty paint brushed in several sinks blocking the drains. We had more damage from them than we had from the storm. We hired Glenn Totten of Totten Painting to restore the room and repair the storm damage as well as the damage from the first contractor. We could not have made a better choice! Glen and his team gave us a high quality, professional job at a fair price. We are happy to recommend Totten Painting if you are looking for a high quality, professional job in central New Jersey

I hired Ben and his…read morecrew to paint my apartment last December, and ultimately I wish I had gone with a different painting crew. The problems were myriad, including: 1) A shoddy paint job showing a lack of attention to detail. As you can see from my attached photos, there were large splotches of mismatched colored walls in my closet, and a doorframe to one of my closets was obviously not painted carefully as evidenced by the poor finished product. Dried speckles of paint were sprinkled literally all throughout my apartment's floors. I spent well over 8 hours cleaning off all of the dried paint that these guys left behind on my apartment's floors, so they quite clearly do not cover the floors with any protective layer, nor do they demonstrate any care when doing the actual painting. 2) Garbage left in my sinks, and dried paint left behind all over my sinks and bath tubs. Totally understandable that these guys would wash their equipment in my apartment, but totally unacceptable for them to leave a mess of dried paint caked all over my sinks and bath tubs that I had to clean myself. 3) Poor communication and lack of follow up when these problems were brought to their attention. I sent numerous emails to Ben about these problems and gave him multiple opportunities to fix them, but he simply stopped returning the emails. Clearly, Ben and his company show little concern or care for ensuring customer satisfaction. All in all, I would absolutely NOT recommend hiring Ben and his crew for your next paint job. While they are definitely not the most expensive paint crew, the old adage 'you get what you pay for' is quite evident here. The shoddy craftsmanship, piss poor communication, general carelessness and inattention to detail, and disregard for customer satisfaction all add up to money that is most definitely not well spent here, and I would highly recommend NOT hiring Ben and his crew to paint your next project.

In our case, he took a total of more than $39,000 and left us with a a gutted bathroom and bedroom, electric not to code, confusing and sloppy plumbing, damage to property and the exterior of our home and destroyed all of the floor joists in my master bathroom, left debris all over our yard, completing only a small wooden wall in a different room, and walked off with more than a $20,000 payment, refusing to return our money and unable to provide professional labor. A worker even spit on our bedroom floor! Pricing is significantly above industry standard (quoted $10,000 labor only cost for tile installation in a 9x9 bathroom). He will tell you everything you want to hear then give you the exact opposite. He was even given an opportunity to resolve (return money and move on) and chose to keep our money and take matters to this level. Consumer affairs has charges pending and a lawsuit is also pending. Please be aware that he will lie to any and all parties involved and even will badmouth customers to other customers! On one website he claims he has been in business for 15 years, but Michael is 30 years old.....???? He violates county licensing laws and does not carry workers comp as required, so you cannot even get a permit using this company. I am not sure how this company is in business and I imagine they will not be licensed very much longer. Find yourself a legitimate contractor.
