Long on Promises, Short on delivery! I decided to go with Megan because she great reviews and she offered a very competitive rate. After $950 spent on appraisal and almost two months of going through the process, she came back and said that the lender is not willing to make a loan based on the fact that one of the loans was modified 3 years ago, the requirement is 4 years, and I didn't disclose it to her. So in other words she blamed me for the fact that she failed to ask questions and investigate. There is no way for me to know what requirements her lenders have, its her job. The underwriter in question was confused and couldn't really explain their reasoning for 4 years as there is no such requirement, Fannie and Freddie require only 2 years. So Megan decided to attack me and call me a liar for not disclosing something that there is no reason for a person to think is relevant. Good luck dealing with her, if it doesn't go the way she expects, she'll put the blame for her failings on you. Towards the end Megan proved to be a liar and bully, constantly twisting the truth to fit her purpose and sending emails that high schoolers might send when they feel slighted. Megan is such a competent loan broker. Megan has refinanced my home loan four times in the last ten years. Not only is my loan a 30-year loan at 3.625%, but Megan had the foresight to have us open up a HELOC (which is at 3.25%) even though we didn't need it a year before the economic collapse. I am not saying that Megan has a crystal ball, but when a good loan program is available she will call you and attempt to have you benefit.
