Olga is a very demanding teacher, which I like. The repertoire is primarily classical. She puts a strong emphasis on precise playing and on the proper touch involving the fingers, hand, and arm. He is now 15 and recently had to leave SOR, but only because he is now in High School was not able to juggle all of his high school extra curricular activities as well as the SOR schedule. He plays guitar like a professional and that is all due to the fantastic instruction at SOR Broomfield. We are now looking for a new guitar teacher and it's been difficult to find one with the ability to teach children like the instructors at SOR do. We met with two instructors, who have each been playing guitar for 20+ years, turn down teaching my son (who has been playing guitar for less than 5 years) because my son knew more and played better than they do. No Joke!!! This is all due to SOR as he started playing guitar with them and has never been taught by anyone else. SOR is the real deal. If you have a child who is interested in music, sign them up!
