I decided to consign a few brand new items with store tags still attached. These items were never worn. After the consignment period was over I asked for what didn't sell to be returned. I did not get my clothing back, but someone else's clothing. I had consigned 2 brand new, never hemmed jeans with the Original price tag of $185.00 each on them. A designer dress I had worn once and a black summer top. I asked for the owner to call me since I was not happy about not getting what I brought in returned to me. I received a phone call the next day from Kat. She did not want to talk to me, she wanted to raise her voice and tell me how wrong I was about the items I brought in. I was interrupted and talked down to. I don't think I got 5 words in as she continued to talk over me. Later I got an email asking me to never return So if you don't take pictures of what you bring in, they have the right to steal your clothes. What a horrible experience. read more

My shopping experience felt ruined today. I walked in on a lovely sunny day. As I was trying on all the beautiful clothes I found, I heard an employee (I believe a manager) shit talking a young female (former employee)and her experience with this female. Actual phrases were about how she wasn't smart, was dumb, and needed to go "scrub toilets" or "marry well" - all because this young women didn't know how to take percentages off, and was confused by math. We often don't think about the mysoginistic attitudes of other women towards, other women.. as someone who struggles with math, and is a stay at home mom (who, gasp, scrubs toilets) - I felt very turned off. Women should empower other women. This was so sad and disappointing to hear. read more

Some time ago, I dropped off clothes there for resale. One item was a $200 outfit, each piece with original price tags. When I picked up what had not sold, I saw that the tags for these items were missing. I asked the lady at the desk about it, and she said she had removed them out of a duty to the clothing store that had sold them. I reminded her that she wasn't under contract to the clothing store; her contract was with me, and that the goods she had altered didn't belong to her. She genuinely didn't seem to understand that she had no right to remove the tags and did not even attempt an apology for what she had done. Haven't gone back since and never will. read more

Great first time shopping here. Good variety and high quality items. Staff are super friendly. Good size dressing rooms with bench and little table for small carried items. Cute racks labeled "Yes", "No", and "Maybe". They have a points system for future discounts, but even without it, look forward to shopping here again soon! read more

This was not my 1st time into Meg & Mo's but this tlme around my mother and I had the most negative experience. First off, the older woman with very long brown/gray hair did not acknowledge us or any other customer that came in. The store was filled with lots of coats, jackets and sweaters. In fact, there were so many coats that there was a long rack of them placed in the aisle way. When my mom approached the rack to take a look at a particular coat the whole thing tipped over and crashed down onto her shin and foot, trapping her. I made my way towards her and attempted to pick up the rack and the woman rudely told me to stop, and insisted she would pick it up and physically blocked me from freeing my mother. She didn't even ask if my mom was okay until I did. The whole experience was disturbing. She made it clear the clothing and racks were more important than the safety and well being of the customers. I will never go back and make sure I tell everyone I know to stay away. This place doesn't even deserve the 1 star. read more

Meg's & Mo is not just an incredible upscale consignment store, it is owned and operated by people with integrity. I took my daughter's purses in for consignment. My mother's wedding ring that was given to my daughter when she died was inside one of the purses. You can imagine my joy when Meg's & Mo called to tell me they found the ring and would hold it until I could pick it up. Of course, we didn't know it was missing, but ecstatic to get the ring back. I used to come here every so often to look for a cool new piece of clothing to add to my closet. I came in the other day and who I assume to be the owner was trashing her employees with another person very loudly in front of me. She was going on about how she understands that not everyone wants to work there forever like her but that this one employee should not have asked for more hours at her second job and she should have asked for more hours here and what is she even gonna do there blah blah blah. Super unprofessional, I feel bad for the young girls working there, she seems like a snotty person. Definitely makes me reluctant to return. read more

I love Megs & Mo: the location is cool and the clothes (while they can be pricey) are also good quality and stylish. Thus, I can't for the life of me figure out the lack of a(n enforced) mask policy. Masks have been a touchy subject for people ever since the pandemic started, and businesses are exhausted with trying to get their customers to wear them. But when the delta variant, which hurts vaccinated people too, is skyrocketing, even the owner/workers at the store aren't wearing masks. So, the patrons are (wisely) wearing masks and the owner isn't? I get that she might not want to protect herself, but as a recent political cartoon pointed out, it's less "my body my choice" and more "your body, my choice." For heaven's sake, wear a mask. I'll not be shopping there again, even though I love it. read more

Frustrating. I find staff at this store really friendly but the selection mediocre. The prices are high enough to make you say "no thanks" and the inventory is just a touch under cool enough to make it worth the splurge. They carry a lot of designer jeans and handbags, with handfuls of everything else. I'm always looking for dresses and never seem to find any I like here. I wanted to like this shop, I really did. It's a lovely shop, a bit cramped inside, but hey, you work with the space you've got, so no biggie there and as I said, it's lovely, well designed and put together. Nice selection of clothing, shoes, bags, mostly higher end or very nice looking. Here's the thing: These are USED clothes. USED. And the designer label doesn't make much of a difference when it's secondhand. To find brand name SWEATS and sweatshirts for over $30-$50 a piece is ridiculous. And Non-brand name formal dresses that I could find at any given goodwill for $75 a piece was just obnoxious. And used Shoes?! At maybe Macy's clearance prices?? You're kidding right? Heels with scuffed up bottoms and scratches and ugh...that brownish foot-shaped staining in the liner........for as much as $60 a pair.... You're kidding right? I came here looking for a dress to wear to an event, hoping for a new favorite thrift store and walked out a bit disgusted with the owners of the place. I have visited Megs and Mo a couple times in search for great finds. I have yet to something that is worth the price tag it carries. The staff & owner are very friendly and welcoming. The store has a shabby chic/industrial/vintage feel in it's displays and decor. Though the friendly staff and the store decor are a plus my main mission in a consignment shop is to spend money. The racks are FULL of inventory. Some old, some new, some vintage, some couture, and some that have obviously had a party or two. Now don't get me wrong I have found a couple things I wanted to purchase but the price tag is pretty darn close to retail and since negotiation is not my forte this a HUGE faux pas for me. read more

What to say....... this place strikes me as being a situation where two husbands have rented this store and supplied the monies necessary to furnish it in order to provide their Lucy and Ethel wives with a hobby that will keep them out of trouble and give them something to toot their horns about at social parties, but a business that doesn't actually rake in revenue. Idk if that's true or not it's just my wild scenario based on no actual real fact or evidence. That being said, the prices are way over inflated, some of the items are cheaper brand new and much of what I found in the store was very very old like 7 seasons ago. It doesn't matter to me if it is designer or not if it is 5 or more seasons ago and marked down for lack of popularity seven seasons ago. When you think consignment you think deals right? Or an interesting find. The only interesting thing I found was that they did not carry jeans under $60 and there was a large stock and none of them were anything I would wear in my wildest dreams, because I am not over 70 and blind. This store is comparable to blue the new designer label goodwill store several doors down. If I had to choose I would go to blue because every now and then I find something I like for an okay price and it goes to charity. read more

The owner is a complete scam artist they told me my Christian louboutin high heels that are in great condition would sale for $500 they sold the for $138!!! Who in there right mind sells shoes like that for that price. Also I was NEVER notified of how much they would be priced at. Turns out she had the wrong email address but she never called me either. She was completely unapologetic and RUDE! Her costumer service is horrific! I would be surprised if this woman would be able to redeem herself after the pandemic. Because I'm sure I'm not the only customer she has completely screwed over! I mean if you want to make it right at least offer some of what they money back that they where worth or a high end hand bag to make up the difference. I'm a business owner myself so I hate to write reviews like this these kind of reviews can make or break your business. I even tried to call her back to see if there was something to work out but I got no answer. Now I'm forced to file a police report because they pretty much stole my shoes. Their selection is more upscale, and some things are a little more pricy, but the clothes are almost brand new. I've purchased numerous outfits there never worn with the original tags still on the them. I've been to some consignment stores where I have to dig through junk to find the good stuff, but in this place digging isn't necessary. I always end up finding something cute to buy! read more

All time favorite consignment shop! Just like any thrift store, there are a variety of items...sometimes you find several items, sometimes just one. This store, however, is far from mediocre! I agree very much with the lady Kalitha above me. The women who work at Megs&Mo were not helpful whatsoever, they were rude and overlooked my expensive items that had only been worn a few times. The boutique was very disorganized and had various garments laying on the ground, and the shoe area was an absolute mess. They had many Coach products, so im guessing that it where they get most of their sales. Do not go to Megs&Mo looking to sell your gently worn Nordstrom clothes, they will hand them back to you. read more

I brought in items for consignment Before the 4th of July. I had some 4th of July items that would have sold like silk red white and blue star scarf. When I went in to check on sale of my items before I left town at end of July I was told that they had just been put out. I When I arrived in Sept to check I had only $7 of sales and over $350 of unsold items and they were ready to pull items off floor. I was told they would be on floor for 3 months. They were barely on the floor for 2 months. Not enough time to sell my better items and by not getting them out in early July the summer items would not sell in August and Sept in Washington when buyers are thinking fall. Will consign at a location that has more staff or more time to get items out in a timely manner. read more

This store is always busy so all the cute, cute things go fast and the merchandise is always changing, so it's always fun to shop there. Shop here if you want great clothes and the worst customer service experience of your life. Things started off bad when I showed up for my appointment to drop of clothing and the woman told me the store was closed. Luckily I had the appointment card to prove the time I was given and she let me in. After having my clothes here for 60 days I asked my mom to stop by and pick the items up that didn't sell since I moved out town during this time. The same woman told my mom that she couldn't help her find my belongings and she felt sorry for her that I was making her do my errands. Unless Megs and Mo hires new staff that know how to work in retail and be polite to customers I can't imagine they will stay in business long. read more
