Last year, we got her gift cards that were only $15 less than the membership fee, they were still getting money from us each month. They said when I purchased the gift cards that the didn't require a membership, but my mom was told after she's been using gift cards for six months now she had to sign up, with the stipulation that she wouldn't have to pay until after using her gift cards. That doesn't make sense. That also was a lie because they have charged her twice now. On one occasion, when she tried to use a gift card, they informed her it was only valid for a facial. so I'm sure the whole time she was getting her massage. She was worried about that and then when she got done the lady like oh yeah I asked my manager. It's OK. To be honest, the services there are subpar. I've visited several times for massages while in town from LA, and they've consistently been disappointing. The staff themselves have mentioned that it's a starter place. My advice for anyone considering gift cards here is to make sure to record the manager explaining how they can be used, as the rules seem unclear and always changing. Unfortunately, I never received a response. When I signed up, I was told my membership was month-to-month and that I could cancel at any time. After I canceled, I continued to be charged. When I contacted management, I was told I was actually enrolled in a different membership, was informed I owed an early cancellation fee, and was denied any refund for the charges that continued after my cancellation. What is most disappointing is not just the billing issue, but the lack of communication and accountability. I made every effort to resolve this directly and professionally before leaving a review, but my concerns were ignored. When I did receive communication, the responses from management were unhelpful, dismissive, and lacked the professionalism I would expect from a business that values its customers. Rather than trying to understand or resolve the issue, I felt my concerns were brushed aside. Chris started by giving me a brief education about the structure of two groups of muscles I've been experiencing pain and lack of mobility. He spent extra time working on these areas during the session with massage and stretching and I felt immediate relief in areas of concern, as well as the rest of my body.
