I've only ever waited behind one other customer, and the waits are usually short and if you're only getting a few items from the store, you can generally grab them up there, too (but not if they need to be weighed, a la produce). Their hours are pretty useful as well -- 8 to 8 weekdays and 8 to 5 Saturdays. Don't get sick on a Sunday, though. They're closed!

I later called pharmacy A to see if the prescription was ready and I was told that the prescription was for a compounded cream. I asked if they knew of a pharmacy that could fill a prescription for a compound cream and they immediately said, "Twin Valley." I called Twin Valley and they did have the items in stock to create the compounded cream. They even stated that they could mix a small batch and order a different base so that the cream would have a longer shelf life. Even though they are small, they still have a drive through.

My friend would call me and tell me things like how stressed out he was because the nurse crossed off one residents name from a medication and put another's just to fill the need of a resident if they didn't have their own actual medication. He felt like he was robbing Peter to pay Paul while breaking the law to do so. He would get in trouble for not passing the meds even though they legally didn't belong to the resident simply because it was the same medicine so his boss would say it's ok. Last week he called me frantic because they have a resident with Covid who reported not feeling well for several days before the nurse finally sent the resident to the hospital and by now all staff and other residents were exposed. Before that they had a resident who was having a stroke and was not sent to hospital for several hours. They also frequently have bed bugs my friend had to treat his home because he had taken them home with him from work. The scariest thing I've heard is how an employee who wasn't even legally allowed to pass medication passed them anyways with a friend and management never reported it to the state when they were made aware both employees still work for the company.
