The staff is not only not friendly, incompetent comes to mind! Very slow service only on person a the window and very long line waiting for service! When I get the rest of may RX I will be finding another pharmacy! I wished I old of check their ratings before using them for my RX! read more

Don't expect customer service. My experience was so bad I called the store manager. She said she'd relay the information to the Traverse City based area manager for the pharmacy and he'd get back to me. Crickets. As promised, I've transferred my prescriptions to a friendlier pharmacy. read more

Absolutely the slowest pharmacy in Gaylord. After picking up a friend from surgery at OMH they took 1hour and 40 minutes to fill my friend's prescriptions! I have personally waited over an hour many times for a prescription to be filled. Today I have to drive into town for a 3rd time to give them my insurance info, that they have somehow lost! I suggest everyone use Walgreen's or Walmart for meds! read more

A very chaotic pharmacy. They seem to have a very large number of customers / prescriptions go through their pharmacy so it's a very long wait in line (25 minutes today) while only one of the six employees was helping customers. I will go elsewhere as I can't afford to spend my entire lunch break from work standing in line. Too bad because their prices (using the GoodRx app!!) are reasonable. Disappointed. read more

They dont have any communication what so ever. One min they will fill the prescription then when you get there there out of stock. I have went thew this twice now and the first time they said it be back in stock the next day then I call to see if it was ready they said it wont be back in stock till the end of the month. Would give this place neg stars if possible. Which is very unusual for a meijer. The main pharmacist there, Josh, is grossly incompetent which has a cascading effect on this store. You never see the same techs twice - they quit or move to other depts in the store. And it seems like other pharmacists working there are always trying to play catch up when they're in. My doc sent in a very expensive RX to the wrong meijer, a $600 RX when filled by the brand name. I called ahead and asked for a transfer, which he said they couldn't do (and I later found out he could have done). I specifically requested, and had him repeat it back after "writing it down", to fill with X generic brand OR fill with the brand name, but do not fill with Y crappy generic. I had the pharmacist at the Petoskey store verify he could see this in the notes system they have. Then I drove an hour to Gaylord. I get there and its Y brand I told them to NOT fill with. Talk to the tech about it, tried to be nice, they said they could re-do while I waited. OK, np, waited an hour, got called up, and sure enough it was the same meds in the same packaging just inside a paper back with new labels. The thing is, my meds come individually wrapped. One has a blue wrapper (brand) one has a white one (bad generic) and one has a yellow one (good generic). I had the tech open the stapled bag, and asked her what the white wrappers meant, she said generic. And we went around the song and dance again. This time the pharmacist came over and said he understood and would do it in 30 mins. 45 mins go by, get the text alert, and its the same thing but this time its half a month instead of the whole thing and we go through this again. Now with the staff becoming hostile. Just requested 7 of the brand name, and I'll come back in a week. Text message, go up, count them, and there are 5. I just paid and left, and called their manager, who had them transfer it to petoskey (which he said they couldn't do) where it was done right the first time. I used to work in a pharamcy, and I can distinguish gross incompetence from high volume and this is NOT high volume. Don't go to this store. There are good meijers in Acme, Traverse and Petoskey. If a pharmacist can't remember 1 thing over 15 minutes or distinguish blue from white from yellow....what happens when its narcotics and they're all round white and small??? read more
