The lines at Cash registers are in very long as well as self service lines. I am reminded of why I stopped shopping at Walmart

Stopped in tonight for various things but while we were there we visited the vision center because my husband opened his glasses case at dinner and discovered the screw was missing in one of the earpieces. Dawn in the eye glass department replaced the screw and tightened the other. She fixed him right up and no charge!! She was super nice too!! read more

On our way to go camping in Canada and made it as far as Gaylord. Look it up and it said you are allowed to stay in there parking lot. It was secure. In the early morning I went shopping and spent more than I planned but it was fine. It was free camping. The store was being stocked and people were very helpful and friendly. read more

i was picking up an online order for a neighbor and it was sprinkling out i was told they aren't allowed to leave the building when it is raining/sprinkling so i had to load it myself i thought this was supposed to make it easier. if that is how it is going to be then come November 1 no online orders in states that get rain, snow, or ice. if that isn't helpful make the entire area a covered area so that your employees won't have to worry about any weather. we are in Michigan the weather can change in literally 5 minutes. read more

I went to Walmart last night to by a few groceries and some super cute boots! I must have set my phone down when I grabbed my boots because I went back home and after unpacking my products, I realized I didn't have my phone, and that the boots were too big! I searched frantically for my phone! As soon as I woke up in the morning I called Walmart and someone answered saying they had my phone in customer service. The lady also made returning my boots fast and easy!! read more

I called to talk to technology and no one answered so I got transferred to customer service and I asked why no one answered and she said because it was late and I then asked why she was working if it was late and she hung up. My friend then called the same Walmart and asked if they had what she was looking for (hover-board) and she hung up. In conclusion I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Gift card system down so checkout line stopped moving. Management refused to move my groceries to another open register. I walked out, leaving about $300 worth of groceries for them to put back. Very poor management, which will just cost the company money going forward Goodbye Walmart! read more

Went in there to do an even exchange they needed a drivers license which they have never asked for one before and then proceeded to argue with me telling me that was their policy when I was in there just two weeks ago exchanging something and they never asked for an ID then they wonder why they're losing to their competitor read more

The store is clean and does offer a wide variety of products to fit most budgetary needs. They have employees who are well versed in the Electronics department, that can assist customers with questions regarding specific devices. read more

First time using online and curbside. Easy ordering. Quickly picked and notified it was ready. Just a short wait after arriving and notifying them I arrived. The Associate (Jerry) was friendly and had a great attitude. I'll try ordering this way again. read more

Last one going north. Gas was 10-20 cents a gallon cheaper than everyone else (the Meijer down the street is usually matching). Ran into get some last minute items for our trip to the U.P. Short lines for a Walmart, Decent selection. Usually stop for gas and supplies on each U.P. trip. read more

Customer service desk is almost always understaffed. Waiting in line for 30 minutes seems unreasonable. When I asked another employee if there was any one else who could help, she said nope. It's 6:30 on a Tuesday night. Very frustrating. read more

I am generally not a fan of the Walmart chain of stores , that being said I was surprised by the nice selection of organic and fresh produce here. I was shopping for supplies for our stay at a cottage and needed salad and sandwich fixings, this store was well stocked with high end brands. I would return if I was in the neighborhood. read more

Ever since it was opened in Late 2004, the Wal-Mart Supercenter has everything from Groceries to Clothes. I get the Organic Veggies and Fresh Fruit including Protein and Grains, plus I even buy the V8 Veggie Punch. But it also has some Clothes that I can buy every Summer and Winter. Hey there! The Wal-Mart Whackos here! We went to this Wal-Mart alright, and you know what we have to say? Well, we don't really know. We have a short memory when it comes to this place. And that is one of the reasons why it was rated a three. All the Wal-Marts we've been able to have them easily remembered. Not gaylord though. They had no gaming center which was a major disappointment. Even cheap claw machines would have been acceptable but no, they didn't have it at all. We didn't pay much attention to the layout but the test game in the back randomly works. We've been there twice and one time it worked, the other didn't. However, it did persuade us to buy NHL 16. And while I was there, I bought an amazing new jacket which I wear constantly now. So if you're looking for a new jacket or NHL 16. Go to Gaylord. This was written by three friends who have dedicated their lives to visiting every Wal-Mart in Michigan. We go grocery shopping once every 8 to 10 days and spend 300.00. tonight was the pits, there was only two cashiers working and both had long lines. There were more yellow shirts walking around and not doing nothing what a joke this was. One more shot then off to a competitor. read more

So i was at my friends house and i was very interested in her hover board so I decided that since i had gotten some money for christmas that maybe i would see were i could find the cheapest one! So i called Meijer they had nothing in my price range. But i must say that they had very good customer service especially since it was very late. So since i had such a good experience with them i didnt think anything of it. So i called walmart. By the way we did wait for quite a while for the person to pick uo the phone. And for it to be so late she probably didnt have any other callers so she either didnt feel like doing her job or she was busy which i doubt. When she finally answered she was already very rude. We had asked her if we could get transferred to electronic department and she said very bluntly "well since its so late we have no one in that department" we surprisingly answered with a "well can you help us?" She very aggressively answered with a "sure." We over nicely asked what there cheapest hover board was and she HUNG UP. This lady had not one bit of a reason to hang up! This was not okay with me and i needed to address this with other people. We also tryed to call back to get names and she answered then hung up when we said the first word. Please walmart address this with your staff. read more

This Wal-Mart is not too bad, my biggest complaint is how un friendly, and un attentive the employees are to the customers; its like they purposely look the other way when they see you obviously in help of finding an item. I had a return to make. I had to wait in line twice for a very slow person at the register. I decided after the first wait that I would shop around and then go back in line. The second time in line the woman wanted to see my license and my credit card As I read was retuning an item that was malfunctioning. My license had void on it as I was waiting for my new one in the mail. She would not accept this and wanted me to retrieve all of my other papers that were in my car to show her. The line literally had 10 people behind me and she was the only one at the register. So I left the store without returning my product and I have to say I was very angry. I've been a Walmart customer for 35+ years and this is how they treat one of their very good customers. All I can say is this Walmart is understaffed And they don't seem to care at all how long customers have to be inconvenienced and how long they have to wait in line for someone to help them. read more

The other day I went to Walmart in Gaylord, MI and Purchased turbo tax thinking it was a digital code version that I needed. Came home and open it, but this was a CD-ROM version. Our CD-ROM does not work, so I had my receipt and I wanted to return it. But they would not return it cause it is open but they told me to call the number on the back of turbo tax to get it to work. My husband also went in tonight to try to return it and was told they can exchange it for another one. So my husband tossed it in the trash behind customer service desk. This is the last time I will shop at Walmart, not very happy. read more
