Literally my favorite store! They always have good clearance items and customer service of the staff is great also. Anytime I do have an issue they fix it. Only reason im giving 4 stars is because the amount of registers open during rush hour times and weekends, also they keep moving stuff around makes it hard to find what I need sometimes. Otherwise I love this place. Update: 12/12/19 They lost a star from me due to the pharmacy. Normally I have no issues but and other lady that works in the pharmacy I believe she is a pharmacy technician got an attitude with me yesterday 12/11/2019. I'm sick I wanna go home you told me my medicine would be ready in 10 mins I come back and you say it's not ready yet, so I ask a simple question of how much longer you thinK it might be and you throw your hands up and say I don't know we are filling it. A simple I'm not sure, or just a few more minutes would of been fine, but instead your body language indicated you weren't happy with me asking a question. I was polite and didn't expect you to work magic and get it done because I asked how long. Overall this lady needs to change her way of speaking to customers, especially if a customer is polite with you. read more

Benton the "pharmacy manager" was a total ass to my mom when she went to try to return something THEY got wrong. She mentioned that they never explained to her that they gave her reader instead of a sensor and if they did there wouldn't have been an issue. Benton then goes to say "That never happened" when my mom said nobody explained to her what she was getting to asked if she had any questions. Mind you he wasnt even there when she got the wrong thing. He wasn't completely rude and clearly needs to find a new job. What a miserable person. read more

Multiple experiences have been terrible. Very disorganized, rude, and rushed, they just do not seem to know what they're doing at all. They do not even carry necessary oral syringes to administer oral meds or bottle stoppers to draw up meds. Trying to transfer, which they're still making mistakes on. read more

The people working here are friendly. But for about the past 2 months there is no one answering the phones at this pharmacy. Last two times I've needed to refill prescriptions I had to drive to meijer and come in just to begin the refill process, because I sat on hold for 5+ minutes each time I called. Tried for 3 days once to simply talk to a person and it never happened. I don't know if they are short staffed or if they only have one person taking calls at a time but it's ridiculous. I switched from Kroger because our Kroger is gross and chaotic inside but at least they answered the phone. Come on Meijer, I really want to give a good review but it's been long enough now that I feel confident that yall deserve 2/5 stars. I recommend going elsewhere if you can for your pharmacy needs. read more

The phone system is awful. They seem to assume customers live next door and don't mind coming in to check on thevstatus of prescriptions. Three days ago, I was supposed to be able to pick up a prescription. We received a call that morning that it wasn't ready and we could pick it up the next day. We called and we're told we could pick it up today. Guess what? It won't be ready today. So, I asked nicely if it would be available tomorrow. The tech was rude and said in a snippy voice, "You'll get a notification when it's ready." Right now, I recently had surgery, I'm in a walking boot, and it's very inconvenient for me to drive to Meijer to find out if tge prescription is even ready. Forget about calling. It's rare to get an answer! Very unprofessional. read more

While I was out shopping I needed to pick up my medicine. I always use the Meijer pharmacy right down the street from us. It's quick and convenient. Meijer has a drive thru window here. Pulling up to the window I was welcomed by Becky. Right away I knew this was going to be a good experience. Becky greeted me enthusiastically. I thought wow this is unexpected. The service here is always good but this was exceptional. Becky retrieved my order and then returned to the window. She finished the transaction and then asked if we had any questions. I didn't so she dispatched our medicine out to us. Saying our goodbyes Becky cheerfully wished me a good day. Now, I have been in retail over 30 years and have experienced great service and not so great service. That being said I know what to look for. This transaction was handled with warmth, exspodiously and with great care. Great job guys! read more

Wouldn't give me a prescription my doctor prescribed for my daughter until I spoke with the doctor about any risks it might have. We had come straight from the doctors office and made the decision for the medication together. This wasn't good enough for them, they insisted I have ANOTHER conversation with the doctor. Well the doctors office was then closed. They suggested I call the on call doctor and bother them at home! This pharmacy is bureaucratic and not helpful in any way to their clients. It reflects the overall lack of concern for customers at every Meier's store I've been to. I have a raging poison ivy condition with bubbling sores on my lower arms (~6 locations yesterday). after paying for a prescription at Meier's sent to their pharmacy by Hancock Gateway Immediate care yesterday (Saturday), I purchased four items at the Meier's grocery in the same building. During checkout I placed the plain brown sack with the medication in it on the side of the checkout where I was doing a self checkout for the grocery items. When I bagged the grocery items i didn't notice the brown paper bag disappeared. I went to the care and drove home. I looked for the prescription meds and remembered I didn't carry them to the car when I left. Meirs was closed/closing when I got back and they said come back tomorrow (Sunday) and talk to the store workers at that time. Today I went back to Meier's and told the greeter-lady and she directed me to Customer Service, who said "check at the Pharmacy." It was about 9:10 am and the pharmacy opened at 10:00. No problem, I'll come back when they're open. returned at 11:15am and the lady in the Pharmacy said no body turned in anything left in the store. I asked for them to give me another prescription for the med that was necessary to keep the blisters from spreading (as the Nurse Practitioner stated). Meier's said they wouldn't and needed another prescription. I went back to Gateway and told them what happened. Gateway called Meier's and the pharmacy told Gateway they wouldn't full another prescription for 10 days. From experience and the Gateway medical personnel, my problem will continue to get bad for two weeks, causing pain (burning and severe itching). Meier's could care less, they got their money, and just virtually shrugged their shoulders when it was pointed out the meds disappeared in their store. Gateway didn't help at all and I will not EVER go back into a Meier's store for any reason, anywhere. Please learn from this and avoid these people like the plague! read more

These pharmacists are the best! Not always smiling, but they are helpful and and take time to make sure you have what you need! Maybe a little more smiling but overall just keep it up! I will pay a little extra to go here! read more

Slow, out of medicine, short fill, changed 2 part med to two equivalent medicine without telling me. Having had several bad experiences tried to inform store management, but nothing seems to change, their pharmacy is a bad joke. Hope you have better luck than I. I now use other pharmacies. read more
