I needed a digital photo to renew my passport. I haven't gotten one since back when my passport was first issued, and had no idea what had to be done. Fortunately, a Google search directed me to CVS. A CVS clerk directed me to Ryan. And Ryan handled the multi-step process as smoothly as anyone could ask. Ryan probably does this so often that he considers it no big deal. It was. I'd already been to another business which supposedly offered the service; turns out it didn't. So it was a pleasure to work with an employee who knew his business, did it efficiently, and was mighty friendly while doing it. There's plenty of pharmacies around Traverse City. Ryan and employees like him are CVS's competitive edge.

He was closing his store while I was on the phone with my daughter's eye doctor, but he volunteered to stay open until we could fill the script and even gave us his cell phone number to ensure the crisis passed. That's the sort of service you just don't get at most drug stories.

Single. Time. and they've corrected the issue or credited me for any issues. The selection is lacking at time but this is the smaller of the two stores in town and that's to be expected. I encourage people to contact meijer directly regarding any issues and I assure you they'll make it right, I've been extremely impressed by their customer service. The fruit hasn't been up the standards I'm used to the last few trips, though I only shopped at oryana for ten years prior to moving to the side of town and that is a risk you take when you don't pick it out yourself. The selection of health and beauty items is decent, but again don't try to compare this meijer to target or the meijer in TC, and adjust your expectations accordingly. The plant section is fabulous and I've gotten some incredible house plants I including a pink princess and two birkin philodendrons for under $25 each. If people are on vacation they need to take a chill pill and stop expecting everything to the as where they're visiting from. If you wanted the same grocery store you're used to - STAY HOME. Stop trying to turn our town into a carbon copy of where you live and choke out the reasons why it's special up here. Manage expectations and relax and if you have gripes about your order use one of the numerous ways listed to contact meijer, they're not looking on Yelp to monitor how you felt slighted bc you didn't bring hand sanitizer. (Munson system had that as "our" pharmacy because my wife had been hospitalized. Arg!) After I came back twice and called the doctor's office to find out why no prescription, the pharmacist called the doctor's office and waited on hold -- they were about to close for the weekend -- so she could take the prescription over the phone. Since the other pharmacy had already filled the prescription, she then had to call them and get them to reverse it. She went WAY above and beyond to see that my wife had had her medicine over the weekend. And our cost was $4.67. She spent all that time for no money. That is real customer service.

The most frustrating part which I have yet to happen to me thankfully is 3 people that I know have gotten the wrong medication dose from you guys. Whoever is filling scripts needs to make sure they're filling the right dose. A 16 year old family friend received a 2.5mg dose of their BP medication instead of a 25mg dose like they're supposed to. They only noticed cause he started having headaches really bad and thought to double check his meds. Another friend of mine just infor.ed me that they were given 3x their normal strength of seroquil. Another friend of mine weren't able to get their scripts when they were supposed to because of a wrong input and also sent her with a wrong dose of medication for one of the people she takes care of. If they wouldn't have noticed, they would have given their resident a much higher dose than they should have. PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU ARE DOING!! One of these times you guys are going to end up killing someone because of your ignorance. This is a malpractice suit waiting to happen. Do better. I'm definitely going to be looking at switching to hometown so my health isn't put in jeopardy too due to incompetence. I hope if anything happens to anyone due to all these errors, that they hold the pharmacy responsible. I understand human error and mistakes happen, but they should not be happening like this that often. Everyone who works there is more than kind but that dies make up for incompetence
