im a fan of good customer service, more important Im a fan of people who know their stuff. this shop looks small and i had my doubts, heck i thought it was a used car dealership and almost drove right past it. Turns out there are two business in the building. ive been to a few meineke"s in the past and always found it pretty painless. What i really liked about this shop was the people, I was greeted and they got my car in the shop in under 10 mins without an appointment which really suprised me cause when i pulled in i noticed all the bays where full. I had gone to Pep boys to have my brakes done and when i was told it would be close to 900 dollars for front brakes i was in shock, i checked my mirror to see if i did indeed have stupid written across my forhead and confrimed i did not. Some times you just have to double check. so i called around and found this shop was two mins down the road i told them to give me my car back so i can get a second opinion, then the price magicly drops 300 dollars if do it right now.. humm,, errrrr, no. so i take go down the road and when they check my brakes they found the following 1. my rotors where fine and could be machined, they said i needed new ones 2. My capliers where fine, i just needed a new brakes hose. they said i needed two new capliers and brake hoses 3. my pads where almost grinding, HEY THEY GOT THAT PART RIGHT so let this be a lesson as it was for me. big retail stores that service cars are rip offs. i will never step foot in one again, not even for car wash stuff. my experaince at meineke was top notch, they took me out to go over my car, the people knew what they where talking about, i honestly felt my car was in good hands. the guy didnt try to upsell me anything, just gave it to me straight and that was all. the ony reason im not giving a 5 star is cause i dont beleive in perfect but they where as perfect as can be. read more

Wow is all i can say once again about the outstanding service i get at this Meineke. Every time i go i am always greated with a smile and such friendly service by poeple who know what they are talking about. Im a single mother who struggles to make ends meet, know very liittle about cars and am always concerned when my car starts acting up that im not going to be able to afford to fix it. This last visit my check engine light was flashing, car was sputtering and wouldnt go over 40mph. i called up and was taken in right away. I was almost in tears not knowing what was wrong with my car :(.. Chris the service manager was so kind and did everything to address my fears.when he told me "we" are in this together and we"ll find outs whats wrong and get my car up and running i really cant say how great it was to have a repair guy take such a personal approach as if it was his car. Turns out my civic was way low and oil and the V-tec screen was clogged. now if you asked me what that meant before this happened i wouldnt have a clue, but you canbet i do now. Each time i learn more and more about my car. WHO DOES THIS??? not any other mechanic ive been to before. There i was thinking my baby was really done and i would be broke with no car and it was fixed for under $150 bucks!!!!!! I started coming to Meineke about a year ago when I needed to have my AC check. I went to my regular mechanic who wanted to charge me around $80 just to look under the hood. I noticed an ad in the paper that Meineke offers free AC inspection, so I called and they got my car right in. The mechanics found my problem quickly and gave me a list of options as to go about fixing it. Again, when my "Check Engine" light was going off, I brought in my car. I had recently brought it to the dealer to get a recalled part checked out. The dealership then called and informed me that my light was on and if I wanted to make an appointment I could bring it another day. (Why they wouldn't just look under the hood while they had my car boggles my mind still...) I brought my car to Chris, and about half and hour later called with the news that my catalytic converter was shot and needed to be replaced. He offered to fix it right there with a Universal fit, which saved me about $200! I know that i would have paid triple if I brought my car back to the dealer. Just last week I brought my car in again to have the AC checked, and Larry got me right in for a dye test. Manny found the problem right away and gave me a list of options without making me feel obligated to fix anything right away. The staff is knowledgeable and honest, and as a female customer I have never felt taken advantage of. read more

I was referred by a close friend that brings his work to Larry at Meineke when he is in need of assistance. I am very pleased with the work that they did and at such an amazing price! Alone I saved over $600 going to Larry and his employees then having the work done through a dealer. I wish I would have know about the awesome work that they do before I had brought my car to Mike's automotive and be charged $340 for 90% of the labor and they didnt fix any of the problems that I had and yet wanted to charge me an additional $1300 to fix what Meineke did for me. I will continue to bring my car to Meineke not only for the awesome service that they do but also for that laughs that I shared with Larry and the other clients as we were waiting for the cars to be done. This is just the latest in a number of visits, over the course of several years. The team at Meineke has always provided me with repairs that last, at reasonable rates. Most recently, my wife's car was very close to total brake failure... the front left was groaning and sticking, even when the pedal wasn't used. We knew the brakes had never been touched, and expected pads and rotors in all four corners, and perhaps even calipers and hydraulics for the front left. It was so bad that I asked them not to test drive it. In the end, they were able to turn the rotors, citing the manufacturer's own tolerances, and there was no damage to the underpinnings of the front left brake. They may have made more profit by selling me new rotors, but instead lessened the financial blow to me. The folks behind the counter have always been warm and courteous. Customer service matters, and it is one reason I keep coming back to these guys. read more

Had a wonderful experience here. From the moment i walked into the doors i was greeted and my car was taken right in for service. My brakes were acting up and i was worried. They brought me in to explain what was wrong and even took me to my car while it was up on the lift to show me what needed to be done and how they would proceed to do it. They also called multiple parts dealerships right in front of me for the best price on the parts. I truly appreciated the extra effort as I have a little girl to support. I was treated with respect and felt so comfortable with the people and the service. I will 100% go back for all of my car needs and will recommend them to all of my friends and family. I made an appointment to get an estimate for my noisy exhaust. The service manager, Chris Raffile, was able to get me in that same day for the free estimate. When they got my car up on the lift they discovered that a heat shield had come loose and was rattling around, which was causing the noise. They tied it up for me and didn't charge me a penny! They could have easily poked a hole in my exhaust pipe while I waited, charged me to fix it, and I would never have been the wiser. I would never have imagined an honest auto mechanic establishment still existed until I met Chris and his team today. I will return there when I need service on my car!!! This was our second visit to this Meineke location. We had our doubts as we entered because of the small waiting area. But now we're totally impressed and will definitely return. They looked at our car and then took us out into the garage and showed us the problem. We aren't mechanics (but we know a little about cars) and could see the problem while they explained the issue and how they would repair it. There weren't any high pressure sales tactics just the plain truth; take it or leave it. Their prices are very reasonable (saving us $1700 over the Lexus dealer). Took my car to the dealership to be fixed. The dealership wanted an outrageous amount. A good friend told me about Meineke of Berlin. I went in for my brakes to be fixed and they discovered a leaking CV joint that my dealership didn't tell me about. Got my breaks fixed and went to the dealership- since the CV joint was under warranty. Went in yesterday for a problem - they fixed in in less than 15 mins. I will drive 30 miles to see them. I am a female that does not understand cars! They are honest, reasonable price and well worth my drive and time! They give exceptional service! read more

i saw some reviews on yelp on the main page and alomst didnt see the fitlered reviews otherwise i would of skipped this place. i took the chance of taking my car there to get checked out. Didnt tell them i already knew what was wrong cause my dad already had it checked and i was price shopping. needed a tune up and new exhasut part. (convertor or somthing) to pass emissons. inspected my car for FREE and found the same.(DEALER CHRAGED ME 100 BUCKS JUST TO LOOK AT IT) and where 400 bucks less. good guys :) read more

I have been bringing my car to Meineke for quite some time now, and even though I have moved towns I still wouldn't go anywhere else. Manny always remembers exactly who I am, and hasn't steered me in the wrong direction with my car. They always take very good care of my car when I leave it in their hands, as well as, going above and beyond removing tar stains all over my silver paint. I have been going to the Meineke on the Berlin Turnpike for years. I don't know much about cars and what I really love about this location is that they always explain all the problems they've found with my car and don't make me feel like I'm being pressured into getting them fixed. Our cars have been going here for years for oil changes and whatnots. Very fair, honest and helpful. They always call and ask first and on occasions they have even called back to see how the car(s) were running. I went to another place closer to get a quick oil changein the past and they told me I needed over $700 of work. I dropped my car off because I noticed some shaking in the front end. Within and hour Larry called me with an estimate and diagnosis, a little pricy, at least more than I was expecting thats for sure but he took a few dollars off here and there to do something to save me some money and about 2 hours later he called back to say the car was all set. I had to have a power window motor replaced on my 2000 Saturn LW1, so I called over to Meineke and asked if they could fix it. I brought it over and they were able to locate and change the motor in less time then they had said. I am very pleased with the service that I received from this business. I had to have my power steering rack replace along with other parts. My car hasn't driven this good in a long time. His mechanics did a great job!
