Be careful - these are parts changers. Do not take your car there unless you already know what the problem is. Example: my car wouldn't start, and after having it for two days they told me it needed a new ignition. I told them I didn't think that was the issue based on the symptoms I had described. In the end, they said it was a bad coil, which is believable. However, they also sold me a new battery (over $200, even though my original was only 8 months old), new plugs, and just one coil, for a total of over $1,000. OUCH. And remember, they were originally going to charge me for an ignition too. I paid and told them I was done after they tried to get another $1,000 out of me. When I got my car back, the blower fuse for the A/C and heat was blown and they hadn't even replaced it. Bottom line: remember, they're parts changers. Had the oil changed and transmission flushed. A little more$$ than other shops but I have had them do work before....reliable. Then they installed a cold air system. The work was fine and timely. However they charged me $219 per hour shop rate. I showed the service rep the Google search for shop rates in AL of $140-150 per hr. His response...he doesn't set the rate. If I could rate no stars I would! My husband took his work car to have brakes serviced because they were grinding. I selected brakes as my service when I booked the appointment. When he got there they changed his oil and told him that was the service selected Nope! I have the confirmation email for brakes! 2 days later his brakes are GONE after will told him they were fine. I called and they offered me a coupon for brakes and rotars. If they had done the brakes when i scheduled the appointment he wouldn't need rotars and I refuse to pay them another dime! I filed a complaint about the Florence Meineke and we'll never take another car there! read more

Got my breaks and an oil change done there few days later my car was over heating I popped the hood and there was no coolant bone dry! I needed to add break fluid and power steering fluid as well. My breaks are making noises as well. I asked the guy there before I left if all the fluids were topped off ect. And he said yes. But no obviously not. Makes me even wonder if they did an oil change at all. It's really sad how you can't trust mechanics these days. read more

Broke my mother's car in about 10 minutes and now trying to go through Meineke Corporation which is a bigger joke than they are going to cost me $46 to file small claims to get the two $300 repair that I needed in the first place. As usual Larry and the guys took care of me. I'm a woman and when I walk in to a normal auto mechanic place they see me coming. But not Larry and the Meineke guys. They always explain everything to me whether I'm a woman or not. They act like I know what they are saying. I went to meineke to get tires and to get my ball joints replaced. After spending 1875.00 I still don't have the ball joints replaced but I do have 4 new tires that I don't like. I had low profile sport tires on my mustang. Now I have regular plan tires but I also have new struts and shocks. He did tell me they would be a different brand but he did not tell me they were not sport tires. The man finally said he would put my tires back on Monday morning but I had to leave my car. When I asked what time to pick it up Monday then he told me it would be afternoon before I could get it and I would have to pay for restocking and to have my tires put back on.
