Sam's Club membership for an average family seems to not be particularly valuable. By the time you save enough to justify the membership fee it just doesn't seem to be much of a value. The biggest saver it seems like is the bulk toilet paper, of which, the Sam's Club in Florence was out of on my last visit. DON'T USE SCAN AND GO IN APP!!!! They charged my debit card twice and told me it would go back into my account the next day. They told to come back if it didn't go back into my account. I went back and they told me they had no record of the second charge EVEN with me having signed and stamped statement from bank showing double charge. Now I'm having to wait up to 90 days to dispute charge through my bank. Also the manager (Harold I believe is his name) was very rude and seemed like he didn't have time to help me. read more

I read where sams club is offering a 45 dollar discount on my first purchase I read where new membership was 15 to 25 dollars so I signed up at sams club florence alabama and nothing! No discount on anything. Although I didn't say anything I would rather expose the problem to the world. read more

Every week we come here. My grandbaby loves the pizza... we love the entire store... The staff is always friendly and polite. We love the driverless machine that goes around. Lol. Kingston is fasanated with it. read more

A very good lunch at an even better price. I have had the Pizza & drink as well as the pretzels but the real shining star for me is the large all beef hot dog with drink All for $1.58 price. Granted it's a plain hot dog on a bun but you can pick up a pack of relish, ketchup, mustard, or sauerkraut and adorn your dog with it. The drink is a large cup and at the present time you can fill it with a Pepsi product and they also have three flavors of icees. If there's any negative but I would have to say it is that you cannot buy just a hot dog you have to get a hot dog and drink because the drink and hot dog are priced together but it's one of the best tasting hot dogs I've had in the area. For an inexpensive meal there's no way to beat it. Lastly you don't have to be a Sam's Club member to purchase it either because the deli is not limited to Sam's Club members only. There is also a large volume of seating inside the club so you do not have to get it to go but can eat it in the store if you want to. read more

As a member for many years. I know that sometimes the crowds make this a place to avoid. Especially after church on Sunday. My wife and I enjoy hitting up the store on Sunday morning. Poor selection, unreliable stocking of shelves, reasonable prices. Expect to not find at least 10% of the items you usually buy to be out of stock. Just like WalMart. read more
